We booked last minute to avoid the hurricane headed to our final destination. The house was never cleaned for us. After a few calls they came and in two hours everything was spotless! We went to dinner and it was done.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at King Bear. The location is amazing. Beautiful mountain views, but still close to the parkway. We were able to walk to the parkway multiple days during our trip. It is a steep road down to the parkway so it can be a bit strenuous especially when it is hot, but we were able to have someone in our group pick us up at the bottom when necessary. The whole cabin was very clean and there were plenty of kitchen accessories. Each room having its own bathroom was very nice and makes the cabin very family friendly. Bears made an appearance at the cabin at least once a day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my kids have already asked when we can go back.

We had a wonderful family gathering for ten of us. This home was amazing, with 5 bedrooms and bathrooms! We had bear visitors daily, making for great photos and memories.Minor glitch with accessing the property…..door wouldn’t open. But after calling the manager, we were able to open the door with additional guidance and details.The most challenging aspect was finding specific things to watch on the TVs. Living room TV had cable, but it would not turn on. The techies in our group determined it had been disconnected somewhere in the ceiling, and finally were able to get it going. Then we could find no local channels, or way to watch UT game without using personal streaming account. Very frustrating! TVs in all bedrooms were ROKU only.Kitchen was well appointed with just about anything you might need. Plenty of refrigerator space for all your beverages and snacks.One other note of caution……this is an order home, and has floor transitions in the kitchen and other places throughout the home. We found these to be tripping hazards…I speak from experience! But all in all, it was a wonderful experience after we got all the kinks worked out. We had a lovely family gathering, and we hope to return in the future.

Awesome property

The house was amazing and location was perfect. The hosts were great staying in contact to be sure we had all we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

House was great for our group and location was perfect!

Plenty of room inside and out for our group. Loved the backyard - great views, seating and fire pit. Enjoyed a few sightings of bears in the yard too!

The bears! Saw 3 playing in the yard. House was perfect size for 9 people. It was close to town but would have been easier if you could walk to the parkway. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Great location

We had a fabulous stay and enjoyed the convenience of the house. Saw lots of bears on the road to town and in the backyard, so be cautious.

Family Reunion

Perfect size for 5 couples, huge bedrooms with attached bath, and lots of beautiful level outdoor spaces. Close to town and activities.

Perfect Gatlinburg Geaway

This property was perfect for a large family vacation! The house offered ample space for every guest. The amenities were bountiful and well planned. The home was absolutely beautiful!
