Our condo is our second home and we have made it very comfortable and inviting for our guests to enjoy like we do when we come. El Faro means Lighthouse and this lighthouse has been a landmark in Playa del Carmen for many years. Residences El Faro Condominiums has incorporated the lighthouse on the property.

Our BEACH FRONT condo is only 35 steps to the beach and 170 steps to the FAMOUS 5th AVENUE which is full of exciting restaurants and shops.

The beach you see from our condo offers swimming, wind-surfing, paddle board, kayaking, parasailing, scuba diving, free diving, jet-skiing, and most important a relaxing day on the beach.

Our Condo has a fully equipped modern kitchen including a George Foreman multi purpose grill, or we have a Weber Gas grill on the balcony.

We have tried to incorporate the wonderful Mayan Culture in our wall painting in the living area in hopes you feel the real sense of Mexico.

There are many activities close by including Jungle tours with zip-lines, water/activity parks, Mayan ruins, cenote diving and much more. Come join us for a great vacation.

Great place to stay

We loved the location and how clean everything was. Staff at residence were super friendly as well. Definitely a great place to stay.

Can't beat the view, balcony is awesome. Condo had everything you would need. Only downside was both beds are rock hard like sleeping on a piece of wood (some people probably like that). Otherwise, everything was excellent

The covered deck was very comfortable and a great place to enjoy the ocean in inclement weather. We spent a lot of time out there. The kitchen was well appointed with cookware, utensils and lots of dishes and glassware, so great for cooking. But, really the best part about this unit is how attentive Terry is. From restaurant information to arranging our airport transport, she made sure that we were well taken care of. We are frequent travelers, and I can say that doesn't always happen.

Great location near shopping and beach. Very clean condo with everything we needed. Excellent communication from the owner who provided all the necessary information and great suggestions. Pool was very nice. Only gripe is that the beach is eroded and the deck adjacent to the beach is in disrepair. Hopefully, they can mitigate that with repairs and replenishment. Overall, we had a great stay and would consider rebooking if we make it back to PDC

Great location

Beautiful apartment in a central location with a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. The apartment is very nicely furnished and decorated. I would book there again.

This is absolutely perfect location! Pool was never busy and looks right out to the sea and was very private. Head out the front door and within minutes you’re in the middle of everything!The condo is clean and had everything we wanted. We loved our experience! Terry is definitely a super host, always very responsive. Can’t go wrong staying here!

Awesome stay

Fantastic stay in PDC

Great condo & location in downtown Playa Del Carmen. Pictures don’t do it justice - beautiful with pool & beach views. Terry was a great host. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for a beach getaway

My family (two adults and one 11-year-old) really enjoyed our stay at Terry's condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool, the beach, and the proximity to restaurants in Playa. Thanks for a great place!

Great condo/apartment

Loved this place. Terry is a great host! The apartment was very nice with all the amenities. Perfect location to restaurants and shopping and it’s on the beach. Ocean view. I highly recommend and would go back for another stay.

Paradise

Everything was as described, comfortable beds, nice patio, clean and very nice. El Faro is a perfectly located property with a nice pool, good beach and full time security.

Wonderful Condo, Walking Distance to Everything

We are very pleased with our stay at Terry's condo. Right on the beach. Walking distance to 5th Ave and its many offerings. Overall 5/5, great place!

Beautiful view, fantastic spot!!

Terry’s spot has a brilliant view of the water, amazing pool and location, and my family was absolutely thrilled with the amenities and space!! I wish I was still sitting on the balcony now, listening to the waves. The El Faro staff was friendly and helpful and my family loved that this was quiet and safe, yet situated in the most scenic and lively part of bustling Playa del Carmen—the best of all worlds!

Fantastic condo, location and recommendations!

The condo is beautiful, has excellent staff, and is very comfortable. The pool was also excellent. The proximity to the beach is unreal. Snorkeling right off the beach and walking up to the pool in 5 minutes is crazy! We also loved the town and the nearby trips. All of Terry's restaurant and excursion recommendations were on point. We would definitely stay here again!
