Really liked the Jelly Fish Cottage. Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The pool was a nice addition!

Nice clean cottage!

Jellyfish is a nice true Bahamas cottage. It’s a busy location with the boat excursions, store and cafe on site. We spent most of everyday out bonefishing and the time we spent at the cottage seemed very private. We’d do it again for sure.

Communication was very good with property management. The cottage was clean and the one issue we had was taken care of promptly. There was a convenient place to eat next door, which I believe is owned by the same company. Unfortunately the cottage is surrounded by a business that rents and fixes boats. It was considerably noisy on most days. It was still a pleasant experience.

Clean, comfy house

This place was great! It was clean and functional, and worked well for us. This is a great place to home base when chasing bonefish since they also rent a boat as well and it’s near some good flats. Cathy’s comms we’re excellent and her and Francis were both super helpful and had countless great local tips and info. She even helped get us some groceries for our arrival since we arrived on a holiday.. This place is a great option for a couple on a budget, or a couple of buddies chasing bonefish. Definitely have breakfast at the little cafe next door (it’s small but great). We will be back again. Mike G

Clean, comfy affordable cabin for DIY fishing or boating trips

We have stayed at Under the Sun's "Jellyfish" cottage twice so far and have loved it both times. It is owned and operated by a local family. They are some of the kindest and most honest and down to earth people you will ever meet and embody the spirit of what makes this place so special (people are still really kind and courteous here - it's like time traveling). We like to do DIY fishing trips and this outfit is perfect for that. It is extremely economical and they also rent great boats that suit our mixed needs. For those wanting a bit more of a guided experience doing something super cool - they can connect you with great affordable deep sea fishing trips (winter Wahoo fishing is phenomenal - even the DIY bonefisher, you should plan a day for that...). The comms are always prompt and helpful, and they are always kind, professional, and seem to really care that you have a great time on the island. The cottage doesn't have the view of the more expensive houses, but it's clean, comfy, and very functional and you'll have plenty of views as you explore the island each day. We typically stay at the Jellyfish cottage for part of our trip and spend a few days at various places on the other side to mix things up. While there (if you have a some boating experience), be sure to rent one of their boats and explore the area west or northwest of the cottage. It's the best DIY bonefish spot I've found, and a quick google earth search will show why...

Great Villa

The villas were very clean and accommodating. Cathy was very quick with her responses and super nice when we got there. We did a fishing tour with Cathy’s husband, Francis, and caught some barracuda and red snapper. Would highly recommend.
