Your stay coincided with the aftermath of the worst snowstorm to hit Columbus in a decade, paired with simultaneous subzero temperatures. This was the most aggressive test for the house systems since we acquired the property, and the extreme conditions exposed several vulnerabilities that we have since moved quickly to resolve. Since your stay, we completed the following upgrades: HVAC: Our technician installed a new furnace and additional ductwork running below the first-floor bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom to ensure consistent warmth even in extreme cold. Structural & Safety: We have adjusted the hinges on the front door for ease of use and installed additional downspouts on either side of the back door to prevent the ice build-up you experienced. Connectivity: The home now features a new modem and router with 500Mbps internet to ensure a stable connection. Lighting: We apologize for the flickering you experienced; the historic storm caused several local power fluctuations, but we have since inspected all smart-home integrations to ensure they are functioning correctly.
