Uniquely located apartment with sea/lagoon views, 2 bedrooms (T2)

Unique situated apartment (ground floor), detached and with two bedrooms / A fully equipped kitchen / bathroom and large terrace (34m2) with unobstructed views of the lagoon / sea. Max. occupancy is max. 4 persons.

Important INFO: Unfortunately, dogs are not tolerated in the complex.

The apartment is ideal for summer holidays, but is also ideal for the beautiful and mild spring time, as well as the mild autumn/winter months in the Algarve. Cabanas combines Portuguese tradition with sweet idleness by the sea and the beautiful nature reserve of the 'Ria Formosa'.

Bed linen and towels are available for our guests (for up to 4 persons already included in the rental price).

Location:
The apartment is located within the resort "Golden Club" in Cabanas de Tavira (https://www.goldenclubcabanas.com/en/location/).

After a short walk in the picturesque village of Cabanas you will find a large selection of typical Portuguese restaurants for every budget, as well as bars, cafes and some shops (only 5 minutes walk). Regularly there is a market with fish merchants, fresh vegetables and other things, several supermarkets are also available in the village. On a long promenade along the lagoon, you can stroll around and enjoy the sun or the evening atmosphere.

Golfers appreciate the large number of golf courses available in the area. There are four 18-hole golf courses nearby. Benamor Golf is located just outside Tavira, while Quinta de Cima, Quinta da Ria and Monte Rei Golf and Country Club are not far from Cabanas.

A car is not necessary in Cabanas. For excursions in the beautiful Algarve, we recommend you to organize a rental car at the airport in advance.

In the holiday resort itself, you will be expected by a trusted person who can also arrange transport from the airport to the resort. (Taxi)

The taxi costs from Faro airport to Cabanas are about 60 Euro per trip.

Enjoyable stay even though the weather was poor

We enjoyed our stay in this accommodation. It had everything we needed for a good holiday - comfortable beds, adequate kitchen appliances, a good lounge area and a nice patio area for sitting in the sunshine.All in all, an enjoyable stay and we hopefully will stay here again.

Nice Place for a relaxed Beach vacation

Cabanhas is a nice little town, 3 Minuten on foot with all the Infrastructure you might Need. The Beach is just a 2 Minute (free) boat Transfer away and the Appartement has everything you Need

Excellent Location

Fabulous location. Great complex facilities and only 5 mins walk to shops and restaurants. Only negative is the mattresses are very soft and could do with being replaced, so we did not sleep well. Cabanas de Taveria is a lovely quiet slow paced environment. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful property with all you need for an excellent holiday

Perfect for your 2 week summer holiday, would stay here again. Pedro very helpful with giving early entry to the property due to an early flight. Thank you Pedro, we had a great, much needed holiday. Laura (& family).

Quiet Relaxing Holiday

Very clean and comfortable property which was well equipped and very quiet. It had a large outside area which received the sun all day. The resort is well kept and the indoor pool, steam room and sauna were spotless and a pleasure to use. The owner is very quick to respond to any queries and was most helpful when my flight was cancelled. Cabanas is a charming village and I had a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic location

Our family have just returned from a lovely relaxing break here, the weather & location was amazing, had everything we needed within a short walk so perfect for our little ones. Loved the free boat service to the beach, and having use of both the indoor & outdoor pools was great for the children. There were still lots of restaurants open locally this early in the season and we had some great local seafood. Pedro was so quick to respond to our questions and his place is a real gem. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Location is perfect, house less

Hd to pick up keys at a reception, no further instructions, we thought the house was occupied because the door was open. Some things were allright, some things (frying pans) dirty. We will not go there again. Location was perfect, club was very nice.

Had a problem finding the password for the Wi-Fi figured it out for ourselves only by accident. Email host twice no reply also was told that the brother would provide the pass word. never seen or heard from the brother.

Nice location and good pool area

Location is good and it's nice that you can use the resort's facilities including the pools. The house is somewhat worn-out, but it's pretty okay for most people. There is nothing luxury about it. It has a good outdoor grill and two sunbeds. There's no sunshine in the late afternoon on the terrace but the pool is not far away.

Great location. Unfortunately the property is tired. Bathroom needs a full refurb. It looks like no money has been spent in many years. Door missing from Cupboard and generally dirty and mould in bathroom. Toilet seat doesn’t fit and barbecue rusty!!!It’s a shame as the the property is in a great location.

Hello Darren. Thank you very much for your, unfortunately negative, review. But I have to admit, you're right about almost everything. 😬 Only the comment that we wouldn't invest anything is incorrect. We are constantly investing in this apartment. Our next investment will be in a complete bathroom. It's really showing its age. The closet door was obviously removed by a previous tenant, sorry about that. Nevertheless, your input was very helpful, and we will get these things sorted out soon. Have a nice evening, Pedro.

Damp and musty

Damp, not aired, I don't think anyone had been in it since last year. The beds were damp, we had to wash all the linen and towels as it was also damp. Condensation was on the inside of the main bedroom window. It was so damp we have to sleep on the sofa bed and when we pulled it out it was covered in stains. The apartment was freezing cold and did not warm up during our 12 night stay. The cutlery and glasses, plates, pans were all filthy and most could not be used. Avoid!!!

Hello Ms. Slade. I am sorry you had to experience this inconvenience. However, your statements are only partly true. The house was inhabited, heated and ventilated throughout January to a week before your arrival on March 27th. As winter is actually a wet time by the sea, we have an extra dehumidifier in the house that you could have used. The fact that the house can be cold is related to the temperatures in winter/spring. I was in the apartment myself with my family from April 8th to 14th. We could heat and dehumidify. The air conditioning also works in winter and is suitable for heating. You probably haven't found the right settings. But unfortunately you never contacted us during your stay. So we assumed everything was fine. We regret that you were not satisfied, like so many guests before you. We wish you a pleasant day. Best regards , Pedro

Dated furnishings and broken items

Suspect photos show the property as it was nearly 10 years ago. Furnishings and outside walls had years of neglect and usage. Majority of cushions, sofa (a beige throw does not cover stained arms), curtains, bedding, bath mat all well worn or stained. Fridge iced up, replacement toilet seat wrong size, bed broke when sat upon (already broken before), light fittings not working, patio door locks broken and replaced by steel bars, shutters broken in lounge. Location, shower, washing machine, dishwasher only good things about this tired property. Owner did send maintenance person around promptly, who has hopefully fixed some items. But all furnishings and bedding need replacing.

Hello Cathy. Thank you for the critical review. Indeed, the flat was not in the condition we always want to offer our guests. After the summer period, when the flat was practically fully booked, we unfortunately did not have the necessary time to keep everything in an impeccable condition again. In the meantime, we have rectified practically all of the defects you mentioned. The sofa will be replaced as soon as possible, the bed has been repaired and the mattresses and pillows will soon be replaced. All lamps have been checked and replaced if necessary. (By the way, all the cushions were replaced 3 times during the summer months! We have replaced the parasol outside 4 times and the deckchairs 3 times). Every 6-7 years the whole house is also painted on the outside. The next time we will do this will be in spring 2025. As you can see, we really endeavour to leave our guests with an immaculate flat. But unfortunately a lot of things came together for you and I would like to apologise for that again. Thank you for being our guest and I wish you a nice and pleasant winter. Férias tranquilas e divertidas

A nossa estadia correu lindamente, a comunicação com o proprietário foi fácil. A casa tem acesso fácil e rápido a praia e piscinas do complexo.Uma sugestão a fazer é a colocação do ar condicionado no segundo quarto,uma vez que quando as noites são quentes, fica difícil refrescar o mesmo.Adoramos a nossa estadia

Retiro confortável

Alojamento c/ tudo o que é necessário p/ uma estadia confortavel num entorno muito bonito.A limpeza precisa de ser aprimorada; o wc precisa de um update; a minha cama era muito mole, mas no geral estou satisfeita e recomendo o alijamento.
