very nice property with a very nice partial ocean view towards the Westin side of Kaanapali beach. Love the Alii- very nice property and pool area. Great communication. comfy beds very nice overall.

Wonderful unit that was very clean and well maintained. Host was very helpful and the bellmen at reception were great with helping with our luggage and grocery delivery. Only suggestion I have is maybe a few spices, some plastic wrap, foil or a few ziplock bags would be helpful in the otherwise well set up kitchen. We look forward to returning next year

We had a fantastic stay at the Kaanapali Alii and would definitely book again!The booking process was easy, and communication with the host was responsive and helpful throughout. The condo was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect size for our needs. The onsite staff was exceptionally friendly and clearly focused on providing excellent service.The location is hard to beat! The beach is an easy walk, and Whalers Village is only a few minutes' away, with plenty of great dining and shopping options. We had two 17-year-old teenagers with us, and one of the things we really appreciated was that they could safely and easily walk to many of the places they wanted to visit on their own.A couple of helpful notes for future guests: At the time of our stay (October 2026), the Alii provides beach towel service but does not offer beach chairs or umbrellas. However, there's a third-party rental provider at the Westin just north of the Alii where we rented chairs and umbrellas. The process was easy, and the prices were reasonable.Also, the beach directly in front of the Alii has been affected by storms over the past few months. There is still plenty of nice, usable beach, but it's not quite as deep as it once was. This certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment of the property or the location.Overall, we had a wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

The property is beautiful and well kept. You are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach and pool. Maui is the most beautiful place I have ever been and is heaven on earth!

Fantastic place on the beach

Easy access right off the elevator on the 5th floor. Just steps away from the beach and pool area. This was a perfect place to bring my kids and family.

Amazing stay at Kaanapali Alii

We loved #151 at Kaanapali Alii. It was perfect for 3 of us. The only complaint I would have is that the pool water could be a little warmer. Some days it was too cold to get in. We had massages on the property. Best we’ve had.

Wonderful

The room was very clean & the view was amazing. Fold out couch was comfortable, the king bed could use a topper as it’s very firm. A/C worked great. Appreciated the free laundry which was close to the room. Everything we needed for our family of four. Met all off our needs and more. Guest and staff were friendly. We will come back.

Great Location!

We've stayed at the Alii for over 30 years - since I was young. It's always been a great family location. No different this time. The property management company was great. A switch tripped with the air conditioning and they were out right away to fix it. Overall would stay again with them. We loved it so much we extended our stay another week! Mahalo!

Kaanapali

The condo is in a great location. It was perfect fit for our family of 5. It has a lovely view from the balcony and everything you need in the kitchen. Only suggestion is to have plastic plates and cups stocked to use if you want to grill outside near the pool. Also, the laundry room at times would have a sewer smell. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay with a family.

Business and vacation

As described. Great location in Ka'anapali and very equipped condo with beach chairs, cooler, and comfortable accommodations. Multiple steps in the unit not as accessible for differently-abled visitors, but roomy enough for those who plan ahead. Carpet could be cleaned from general space and removed from master bath, but no other complaints or concerns! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Not a hotel

The property is privately owned and does not include the services of the company owned units at the Alii. We have stayed at this property many times and we missed services such as fresh towels, hand lotion, etc.

Horrific experience due to fires

Staff were given very little information! We were I. A condo for 3 days w/o food, water or power. Being in a condo versus resort provided very little information, water or food resources. However, being in the condo allowed us to have the food we had but after one day at all went bad, because no electricity.
