This Palm Springs midcentury Alexander home with pool and spa provides the quintessential rental experience you are looking for. When you first drive up to the home you will instantly notice the “Wow” factor of the home. Located five minutes from downtown in the historical, sunny and quiet Sunmor neighborhood of Palm Springs, this 4-bedroom 3-bathroom home has all the amenities of a luxury resort.
This completely remodeled home’s stunningly designed interior is only overshadowed by its phenomenally arranged backyard. The focal point of every Palm Springs vacation, this property’s enormous pebble-tech pool will not disappoint, as it is positioned under a stunning view of Mt. San Jacinto. At the center of it all, is a large spa that can host 8 people, more than capable of accommodating you and your guests and a few Mai-Tais from the adjacent custom-built tiki-bar. In addition to the campy and fun tiki-bar, the yard also features an outdoor Tiki Surfboard shower, and
A huge glass firepit with over 20 feet of bench seating at its perimeter, a large stainless-steel gas grill, a putt-putt golf course, and game court including cornhole and jumbo connect-four.
Also enjoy the new 400 square foot guest house that is separate from the main house and features a keyless secure entry, a king size bed with a breath-taking view of the pool, tiki bar, and Mt. San Jacinto. This guest house also has a free hanging ball chair, a 55” smart tv, and boasts a wall of space age vintage 70’s space age wallpaper! You will also love the bathroom and large walk-in shower.
Inside, a lively and open living arrangement on white travertine with bright mid-mod furnishings, including classic ball chairs, original shale-rock fireplace, and 50-inch flat-screen TV. In the dining there is room for 6 at a chic oval dining table, with an additional 2 person kitchen bar seating area, and the adjacent kitchen offers stainless appliances and all the necessary cookware and dishware.
On the west end of the home, two appropriately themed guest bedrooms with mid-century furnishings, one called the space age room, the other the mod room, with accents and pop-art, queen beds, 40in flat screen TVs, and an immaculately appointed shared bath. The master suite also boasts gorgeous mid-century design and lots of natural light with walk-out access to pool, a plush king bed, 40in flat screen TV, large closet, and an suite bath with multi-head glass shower.
PLEASE NOTE: As of July 1, 2021 Transient tax will be going from 11.5% to 12.5%. For all reservations after July 1, 2021 we will need to adjust tax.
Pool/Hot tub heating is offered for an additional $80/day, from April to Sept. From Oct to March, pool/hot tub heat is an additional $120 per day..

The City of Palm Springs requires that the responsible party or renter (the GUEST) be 25 years of age or older. The responsible party will need to provide a copy of a government-issued ID in person upon arrival.
In addition, you will need to provide a full roster of all guest names. The City requires that each guest sign the documentation and show proper identification.
The city also requires an in-person meeting at the property within the first 24 hours of residence to discuss rules and regulations, collect signatures, etc.
Vacation rental properties are located in quiet, private neighborhoods and the City of Palm Springs has set forth the “Good Neighbor” policy outlining key factors to keep in mind while in residence. This includes, but is not limited to, the Noise, Responsibility, Parking, Number of Guests and Pets as outlined below. Violations of these policies jeopardize the permit for each house to operate as a rental so it is expected that all guests to the property will respect the investment made in each home and the potential for loss if loss of Permit is to occur. A copy of the Good Neighbor Policy is provided in each house manual per City of Palm Springs regulation.
NOISE
The City of Palm Springs has a strictly enforced sound ordinance. No outdoor music (at all, ever) is permitted during the day or night. People noise (outdoor/pool noise) is permissible during the day (10:00 am – 9:00 pm) but it should be reasonable and measured considering the residential neighborhood location of the home. People noise (outdoor/pool noise) should be non-existent after 10:00 PM.
Any noise complaint(s) made to management may incur additional charges which will be deducted from the security deposit. If ANY fine or citation is issued, all guests will be required to immediately vacate the property, without refund. The responsible party will be responsible for all fines incurred due to any of the guest actions. The city will measure sound complaints with a decibel reader at street level and will cite guest directly.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITY AND CONDUCT
Throughout the stay it is expected that all the property and all of its contents will be properly maintained. Agreement to replace or repair any breakage, damage or loss caused during the stay will be agreed to at time reservation is made. “Normal ” wear-and-tear is considered reasonable and exempt from damage inclusion.
Federal, State, Local, Intellectual Property or Trademark laws will not be violated while in residence and using wireless, internet, cable or phone services. The IP address, date and time of violations is traceable and will be documented.
Creating any unlawful disturbance and/or engaging in disorderly conduct at any Palm Springs vacation rental property is prohibited.
OVERNIGHT GUESTS AND DAYTIME VISITORS
The number of guests on property limited and set forth by Palm Springs City law and must be adhered to at all times. Children are counted in the guest headcount unless sleeping in a crib; usually under the age of two.
All overnight guests must be disclosed to management as well as any additional daytime visitors.

Greg and Marina are the proud owners of this 1958 Alexander Home. From the first time Greg came to Palm Springs in 2013, his dream was to own an Alexander built home. And in 2019, we got that chance. We love the 1960's space age era design and we wanted to decorate the house in that style to make it fun. We love it so much we never want to leave! Retro A Go Go was a successful vacation rental in 2019 despite covid, and we decided to take a few months out to build our super cool 70's Mod Guest House to make the house even more wild, and added the fun outdoor Tiki Surfboard Shower! We hope you love our house as much as we do.

The area is Sunmor, its quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors are the greatest. We love waking up and just staring at the San Jacinto mountains on the lounge chairs in the backyard. It is breathtaking. We also are so proud to own an Alexander Home, Palm Springs to us means we had to own a Alexander Mid Century Home!

The Putting Green, the large Hot Tub, The fire pit and seating area, our fun address lettering in the front of the house, and our Retro A Go Go House Logo in the backyard where you can take the perfect selfie! If it wasn't our home, we would want to stay here, again and again!
