Please take your trash with you. There are maps and signs in the cabin telling you where to dump it if needed. Alternatively, the house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag if you'd prefer.

The base rate includes 6 people. Additional guests are an extra $30 per person per night. Please read the itemized charges carefully. There can be no more than 10 guests.

There is a separate security deposit required for this property. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions about it- we are happy to answer them!

Pet friendly! $120 pet fee per pet, maximum 2 pets. No Cats

Beautiful Mountain Home

This is our second time to stay at Hawk Mountain Song. It is a great home for our family.! We had three generations there ranging from 65 down to two and everybody had plenty of room. The home is furnished beautifully, and the kitchen is well supplied. The views from Every window ore outstanding! We made good use of the hot tub, and the ski large is just a short drive away. The ski staff on the mountain were so friendly and helpful. We had a terrific time.! The hosts are spot on, and answer any question immediately. We couldn’t have had a better time!

New Year’s Getaway

This was a great spot for our party of nine. The kitchen and bar areas were well stocked. The hot tub was clean and spacious. The two living areas provided options for the kids and adults to have their own spaces to gather. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood, and the close proximity to the resort amenities. My only feedback is that it would be nice to have more couch seating on the main floor to accommodate more than 5 adults, but we made it work.

Beautiful & Comfortable Home!

Such a great home! Lovely, spacious, light filled house! It had everything we needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal! Gorgeous placement of home to enjoy amazing sun rises! Nice quiet part of the resort that let us take walks. The kids played tennis and enjoyed the park. Perfect stay!!!

Family weekend

Overall the stay was great however we had issues with the trash- we went to the listed address to throw out trash but there was a sign there saying trash dumping wasn’t allowed and there would be a fine and another address was listed, when we went there- there was no where to throw the trash either. Besides that the place was clean and everything else was nice.

Girls’ weekend

The house was beautiful! Very clean, well stocked , and nicely laid out with a lovely outdoor space with hot tub and gas fire pit. Furnishings were very nice and the gas fireplace created such a cozy atmosphere. The area was so pretty! Would highly recommend to anyone!!

House was super clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The property owners were proactive in their communication and texted directly before check-in. Would return and would recommend!

Wonderful!

This was our second time staying at hawk mountain song and we will definitely be back! This time we brought our kids and they loved it. The game room was a huge hit for them and us. We loved playing pool with them and relaxing in the hot tub every night. The large kitchen was great for our family. We went to luray and va safari park and overal just had an amazing time. This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is close to everything. Great for hiking too! And the deer in the afternoons! We saw so many deer! We can’t wait to return next year!

Reunion

My two best friends from high school, myself and our spouses spent two nights together in this beautiful home over the weekend marking our 50th anniversary of graduating from Harrisonburg High School. The home was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bath. The kitchen was open and adequately equipped. The first night we enjoyed eating supper on the private back deck. The open living room and dining area were comfortable and spacious. We entertained 7 of our high school friends for lunch. Recreation room downstairs worked great for our game time. The hot tub was clean and felt great. FfY; the driveway is very steep and you have to climb a flight of steps to get to the main floor. Communications with host were excellent.

Perfect Place

We spent the weekend visiting Shenandoah National Park and all six of us stayed in this home. It was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed and more! There were two grills and a 6-person hot tub on the beautiful back porch with some of the area covered, so even rain did not discourage us from using it! Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again.

Friend Vacation

This was our first stay at Hawk Mountain Song and it did not disappoint! There was plenty of space for our party of 8 and we enjoyed the back patio with the fire pit and hot tub. The location was amazing with plenty of activities to do to keep the kids busy while also enjoying the mountain views!

Summer getaway

I stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. The house is in a great location and very spacious and comfortable. Property manager was very accommodating and friendly. A few kitchen upgrades would be helpful, but overall a great experience!

Just what we needed!

We were here for our sister’s wedding in McGaheysville over the long Memorial Day weekend. This VRBO house was a perfect fit for us. The four bedrooms had comfortable beds, the kitchen was well outfitted for our group, the hot tub was very relaxing, and the kitchen table was big enough for playing games and eating our meals altogether.

Perfect Getaway!

My group of friends and I wanted the perfect getaway to end our spring break and this was great. There was enough at the house to keep us entertained, while also being super close to Massanutten to do other activities and go to restaurants!

Perfect Cottage for Us!

This cottage is decorated super cute, plenty of space for our two families and the kids had a great time. It’s really open and the sunken hot tub is great. Comfy mattresses.

Beautiful Home in Massanutten Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Hawk Mountain Song. We decided to spend Thanksgiving in Massanutten this year with another family. We had a total of 4, adults, 5 kiddos and 2 dogs and were more than comfortable. There are two living spaces, which was perfect for the adults to hang out in one area and the kids in another to play and watch their shows. Each of the spaces had really nice smart tvs to stream whatever you like. The outdoor space is really nice for an outdoor meal or outdoor cooking. We utilized the hot tub and it was well maintained, very clean and worked perfectly! The kitchen/bar had the necessary supplies to make a meal or craft up your favorite cocktail. We went in walks, took advantage or the playgrounds on the resort, visiting the holiday light exhibit, went to the indoor water park, and relaxed in the Hawk Mountain Song home. I highly recommend this property for your next stay in Massanutten. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place!

My friends and I had such a wonderful time at the house! We used the hot tub which was perfect, we used the grills for a cookout and the fire pit for s’mores! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It’s conveniently located to many things as well! Two things I think should be added/fixed - 1. extra blankets would be nice! We had to use the comforters on the bed when we were cold outside. 2. The guest bathroom on the ground floor and the shared bathroom on first floor - the shower door came off the track and we had to pop it back into place. So maybe have that checked out. We still had an absolutely lovely time! We are already looking to come back next year!
