Luxurious relaxation

Everything was perfect with our stay. Kelli has thought of every meticulous detail, it is clear she has put great thought and effort into this home! My group of 9 had more than enough room to hang out and laugh. Great distance from the cities, far enough to feel disconnected, but not too far that is is a tedious drive. Would love to stay here again.

The place exceeded all expectations, and was even better than the pictures. Kelli was so accommodating, and we felt so comfortable know that if we needed anything at all she'd be more than willing to help! Looking forward to staying here again!

Girls Trip

This cabin is so beautiful! Has all the amenities you could possibly need! Felt safe and secure. The whole cabin was spotless, unfortunately multiple of us are allergic to the tide laundry detergent which caused some minor issues, but doesn’t affect the rating! Beautiful location, view, and who doesn’t love a good hot tub!

Beautiful and Relaxing

The Rosewood Lodge was such a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy Christmas. Kelli thought of everything including all the beautiful Christmas decorations including a Christmas tree. Kelli was very helpful throughout the booking process, questions before arriving and during our stay. Definitely will be back. Our 15 and 17 daughters gave 5 stars!!!

Best VRBO around!

Kelli had the home decorated for Christmas both inside and out! The home was immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and sitting around the fire place with dear friends enjoying a glass of wine was exactly what we needed. We will definitely encourage others to stay here!!

This is a WOW

The cabin is beautiful. The host is fantastic. This is the place to stay when you find yourself in Independence or surrounding area. Absolutely loved it. My 9 year old granddaughter gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up.

Amazing!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin nestled at the highest point of the small town of independence, Kelli is absolutely wonderful and very accommodating, everything was immaculate, very cosy, roomy, spacious. We had a wonderful time spending thanksgiving with our family away from all chaos and busyness of life. Would definitely be back

Beautiful Home

My partner and I loved our stay. This cabin is even more beautiful and well laid out in person. Every detail is attended to. Communication with our hosts was great - they always responded right away. We arrived to a lovely note, a bottle of wine, and an impeccably clean, comfortable home We especially loved soaking in the hot tub every night. An unexpected bonus was viewing a spectacular display of the northern lights from the spa!

Best Ever VRBO Rental

Amazing property. No kidding... just bring yourselves and food! So well appointed. Best VRBO I've ever rented. Kelli and Mark go beyond beyond. Plenty of room to spread out and to gather. Perfect layout of beds/baths. We had six siblings and never felt crowded. The bar in the basement was perfect for playing board games and cards. Gorgeous location. Lots of orchards and wineries nearby. We were sad to leave this wonderful property. Would not hesitate to return. Thank you Kelli and Mark for sharing this fantastic home.

A perfect home!

This property is incredible! Beautifully maintained and amazing attention to detail down to the condiment packets and the chocolate on everyone’s bedside table. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Kelli and Mark were fantastic and super responsive. Five stars!!

Wonderful weekend stay with my Family

Beautiful house on top of hill, incredible location with great views. House was in mint condition with great amenities and beautiful details. First class spot to stay and our whole family really enjoyed our weekend away. Would highly recommend!

Such a great place!

Can’t say enough about this place. Kelli and Mark are super great and responsive. They have thought of everything - attention to detail is incredible. I’ve never stayed at a VRBO (and I’ve stayed at a lot of them) that had every possible kitchen gadget imaginable!

Beautiful house and property. I felt like I was in a dream.

Picked this area and house to do some cycling with my family. It was relaxing to have room to move and not be cramped in a motel room or tent. I felt like I was on a luxury vacation. House is very well equipped. Just need to bring yourself and some food. I would definitely stay here again.

90th Birthday Party

With all the hussle and bussle of having a 90th birthday party for my Dad at the Arcadia Country Club this was the perfect place to prepare and recharge. They thought of everything to make our trip special. Having mustard and mayo packets came in handy for our day trip to Black Falls. We even got to watch the baby deer out the window play with the deer statue across the street. Towels and bedding were 5 star and had everything we needed. Hated to leave and can't wait to return!

Cousins’ gathering

This was our third visit to Rosewood Lodge. We love staying here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. Kelli adds so many special touches to make us feel special. The decorating gives a very cozy feel and everything is top of the line. We played cards inside, corn hole outside and sat around the fire at night. The hot tub feels great at the end of the day! We even ventured out to a vineyard which was very fun. Another year of great memories! Thank you Kelli!

Girls weekend!

The house was beautiful! I have stayed at a lot of rentals, but this one was the best stocked with any necessity you could possibly need. The hostess really thought of everything. Even though she was out of town she had her husband bring us a replacement kitchen utensil ( which we could have lived without because there was plenty of other utensils). She went above and beyond with a nice thank you note!

Very comfortable home

Long 4th of July weekend was very cozy here. The host went over and above making us feel welcome and we loved the grounds including the hot tub.

Hi, My name is Kelli Brandenburg - Brave and my husband is Mark. I have been a Flight Attendant for 31 years and work for Delta Airlines. So, YES! I love to travel and have been all over the world but still yearn to see more. Mark and I enjoy horseback riding and have 10 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats plus many barn cats. We are strong community minded people and enjoy participating in community groups and helping others.

The ROSEWOOD LODGE is named after the street which was named after my deceased mother, ROSE. I designed this log home back in 2000 and it is accented with many items from my travels. I truly LOVE this home and hope you will too. Please enjoy this very special place.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Each room has a basic theme. The logs are 11 inch northern white pine. The log design is Swedish cope. Most of the furniture was custom made by a local Amish man. Many of the rugs I brought back from INDIA. The carved bears were created by a wood carver in northern WI. and he used one single 100 year old willow tree. The kitchen cabinets are maple and specially designed. Wishing you a wonderful stay.
