Wow. Just wow. Incredible place. This host knows hospitality. So many thoughtful touches. All of the amenities you could think of and more. The property was very clean with comfortable beds, fully stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Easy check-in and checkout. Great communication with our host, Kelli. The hot tub was fantastic. This is one of the best properties our group has rented in more than 25 years of annual girls’ weekends. 10 out of 10 all the way around! Great place for the cost! We’ll be back!

We had such a wonderful time at the Rosewood Lodge! The property is absolutely stunning with the most thoughtful hosting details and touches throughout the home. The thoughtfully stocked kitchen was a highlight! We had such a pleasant experience from our first to final exchanges with the property owners. The property is very clean and we appreciated the notes of sanitization measures upon our arrival. This property is an absolute dream home and was such a special place for us to spend time as a family. The 12 person hot tub in the absolutely stunning, perfectly manicured backyard put an exclamation point on our stay. We plan to return in the future!

Kelli went above and beyond with even the smallest details! Every where you looked there were creative accents and decorations. You can see that the owner puts in a great amount of effort to make the house a piece of art. They also was very good at communicating.We had no issues whatsoever at the property. Thank you!

This location had every amenity possible, and then some. Very clean and very comfortable for our party of 8. The hot tub and adjacent firepit were enjoyed immensely with a lovely overlook of the town.You won't be disappointed.

We had an AMAZING time at this property. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house was WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN !! The use of the garage for our motorcycles was a HUGE bonus, and it was clean as well ! We cannot wait to return to this property and enjoy this part of beautiful Wisconsin again. Jon & Jen

Outstanding Property!

This is a beautiful property! This is the nicest VRBO property I have ever stayed at. Everything about it is quality-quality home, quality decor, quality landscaping, quality beds-everything was perfect. The property is located in a beautiful and quiet cul-de-sac which allowed for a very peaceful stay. The inside of the home is beautiful and comfortable, There is a large and very private deck and well-designed patio in the back of the property which served as a perfect evening hangout for our group. Kelli was an excellent host, communicated very well, and even left little welcome gifts for us to find upon arrival. She was great to deal with. This property suited our group perfectly and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay as well as a top-notch rental experience!!

Such a great cabin!

Every detail of our stay was perfect, including 4th of July decorations and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was fantastic. We loved watching birds from the balcony. The kitchen was big and well stocked. There was a cute little drive in down the road for ice cream. We would be happy to return!

Beautiful retreat in a small town

Our family enjoyed our week at the Rosewood Lodge. This is the most well-equipped and thoughtful VRBO we’ve stayed in, hands down. It really feels like a home with all the creature comforts you’d have at your home but forget to pack in a suitcase for a vacation. The sheets and beds were top comfort. The kitchen was beyond stocked. The views were outstanding! Hot tub was great to look at stars with the fire pit. We explored surrounding areas including La Crosse, Alma, Winona, Galesville, Wabasha, Eau Claire, Arcadia, and many small areas in between. independence is a quaint small town with very little to do to entertain, so we explored and observed - exactly what we needed in our get away! We rode our bikes on the Treampleau bike trail and put in the miles in both the flat and hilly country roads in small towns. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

Independance Stay

Very nicely appointed log cabin house. Kitchen well equipped. Room to spread out between first floor and basement. Has a hot tub and firepit. Lots of birds and chipmunks.

Kelli had been very responsive and their home is gorgeous! Our little kids had so much fun and really enjoyed the outside where there was plenty of space to play. The large hot tub was an incredible amenity we all enjoyed. We could tell there was a lot of thought and details put into this location and space to make the stay memorable. Would return!

A great ladies getaway!

I always get nervous when it's a ladies getaway trip in the middle of nowhere but this location is just perfect. In the town but with so much privacy and seclusion --it was perfect. The perfect amount of space for 8 people, we didn't need to leave the property for anything and was able to utilize everything available! Kelli was very responsive but I didn't need much because everything was ready for us! My only suggestion is to change out the living room and dining room wall plates for the outlets. It was very hard to charge phones as the outlet is set deep in. Otherwise the place is perfect! Thank you!

Amazing property and host!

Hands down the BEST property we have ever stayed in! It is a beautiful home with so many personal touches (chocolates, wine, local gift certificate) and superbly stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Host was very quick with responses. Would love to come back!

Pleasant cabin in Wisconsin

It's a very nice cabin up on top of a hill in Independence, Wisconsin and we had a lovely time here! Very nice hot tub, lots of space to relax in, and the owners left little treats like cupcakes, chocolates, and non-slip socks for everyone! Definitely enjoyed our time here, likely to come back again!

Amazing!!

Kelli is an amazing host. She communicated quickly to questions I had before we arrived and we felt so welcomed from the moment we stepped inside Rosewood Lodge. The special touches Kelli did was so heartwarming! She really goes above and beyond in my opinion!! The place is clean, well decorated, has lots of space and everything you could possibly need…just bring your bags, food and drinks! The cabin sits high on a hill so the view is wonderful (the trees didn’t have any leaves yet so that might not be the case when they fill in). Loved the hot tub to relax in. Everyone in our family definitely recommends this place and we would love to stay again!

Hi, My name is Kelli Brandenburg - Brave and my husband is Mark. I have been a Flight Attendant for 36 years and work for Delta Airlines. So, YES! I love to travel and have been all over the world but still yearn to see more. Mark and I enjoy horseback riding and have 10 horses, 5 cats plus many barn cats. We are strong community minded people and enjoy participating in community groups and helping others.

The ROSEWOOD LODGE is named after the street which was named after my deceased mother, ROSE. I designed this log home back in 2000 and it is accented with many items from my travels. I truly LOVE this home and hope you will too. Please enjoy this very special place.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Each room has a basic theme. The logs are 11 inch northern white pine. The log design is Swedish cope. Most of the furniture was custom made by a local Amish man. Many of the rugs I brought back from INDIA. The carved bears were created by a wood carver in northern WI. and he used one single 100 year old willow tree. The kitchen cabinets are maple and specially designed. Wishing you a wonderful stay.
