Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off the ladies in the office are so nice! Every question I had they answered quickly and give us guidance on where a good spot was to float from. We stayed in Cuatro Cantina, it is a beautiful home and met all of our families needs. We had plenty of space to spread out and everyone loved the swimming pool and our kiddos enjoyed the playground. When we arrived the home was clean and had music playing, which we thought was a nice welcome home! We would definitely stay in this home again.

Great location and amenities!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Walking in the house was amazing. It’s in a good location and beautiful (note: neighbors are really close on both sides so not much privacy and lots of loud conversations being heard) but that didn’t bother us. The house was perfect size - can easily fit 4 families comfortably. Living room is small but we didn’t spend much time in there. Outside furniture was amazing. Loved the set up. Some issues we had that we did discuss with management were:-The floor was very dirty - don’t walk barefoot - your feet will get black (but hopefully they will mop more frequently) -The pool was kinda dirty- needed to be filtered and a group before us left lots of trash in pool that got into the filter so we cleaned that out. But kids had fun so it served its purpose. If they can fix these minor details we would love to come back and stay again.

Third time was not a charm

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mattresses were changed to way cheaper! could hear the springs very soft everyone got up with a back ache. We were charged 175 per day to turn on heater poolThursday/ Friday /Sat The pool did not heat till Friday morning so why did I have to pay for Thursday? I asked for a 1 day refund they said no it takes time to heat. The pool was very dirty they did not show up to clean till Friday after 12 noon when we we asked for it to be cleaned early. Besides paying 2600 for Thursday at 3 to Sunday at 11 am we had to pay an additional 525 dollars to use the pool which we only used 1/2 day Friday & Saturday> I think next time we will stay in Uvalde at a hotel where its cheaper and the pool is free makes you think twice about going again
Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 19 mar. 2024
Thank you for your review. We are sorry you were not completely satisfied; however, you were informed at check-in that had you requested and paid for a heated pool in advance, we would have started heating it the day before your arrival. You were also informed that it would take at least 12 hours to completely heat up. You said you were ok with that and chose to pay for the pool to be heated anyway. When I went by the home to check on the pool at noon on Friday, most of your family was already in the pool, the pool heater had finished heating, and the pool temperature was at 96 degrees. I was told the girl had come by about 10:30 and vacuumed the pool, and you even commented that she did a great job.

Summer 2021 at Cuatro Cantina

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family enjoyed our stay tremendously, we had a great time in the pool, in the play yard and in the cabana area. The cabana was very spacious and had enough seating for our big group. Recommendations--1. consider adding a half-bath in the cabana area so the guests don't trail wet thru the house to go to the bath. And a half bath or full bath in the upstairs bedroom.2. If at all possible bring down the TV in the living area down, it is too high.3. I understand that the house is in a developing area, but we saw two scorpions in the house, so constant fumigating.4. Make sure your cleaning company is actually cleaning after each guest leaves, one of the mini refrigerators outside had food that was left behind from other guests. And the second mini refrigerator smelled bad (we threw the food away and rinsed out the second mini fridge). 5. There was not enough space to place our non-refrigerated food, maybe you can consider placing a pantry or shelves between bedroom 1 and 2 (we brought our non perishables in totes and placed the totes in that area without them bothering anyone). We were pleasantly surprise to find 3 full refrigerators, it gave us the needed room for all our food and beverages. GREAT PLACE TO STAY AT OVERALL.
Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 4 feb. 2024
Thanks for your review. I'm happy to report that the owners have added a half bath in the cabana area and have also added a large walk-in pantry just off of the kitchen area. Hope to see you again soon. Frio River Vacation Rentals
