Perfect Paradise

We love this resort, and this is our favorite room! Spacious inside and outside with a large “L” shaped ocean view balcony.

Beautiful property

Loved our stay at this property. Beautiful condo and great location. The pools were very nice and a long stretch of beautiful sand is right out your front door. We'd love to return as soon as we can.

Heaven at Honua Kai

We enjoyed this condo from the moment we walked in the door and saw our spectacular views. It’s a great floor plan, the bedrooms are spaced apart and the entire unit is well appointed.

Super responsive host. Early communication. Quick response to questions. During the stay, they responded w a fan delivered rigjt to our unit.The unit was well stocked, even including beach chairs.

Overall a great place to stay, lovely views and quick access to the ocean. I would’ve loved if they had a beach wagon to carry all your stuff down to the beach because the walk isn’t that fast when you’re carrying all those things yourself, other properties offer this and it’s tremendously helpful. It could’ve been cleaner, specially the exterior furniture. In general, I think I’d stay here again and those things I mentioned would make this property absolutely perfect.

While beach wagons are not a standard item we provide (they're part of our Ohana Plus package), we're happy to make an exception if we have a spare one available. We strive to offer a clean and comfortable stay, and so we're sorry the home and lanai furniture fell short. Paradise

Booked to be close to our family at the Nanea. Clean and well run. Close to Duke’s for meals. Unfortunately painters were there every weekday. Scaffolding took days to erect.

Beware - Never informed us of MAJOR Property Renovations

When we arrived there were multiple LARGE cranes impeding our view. The noise from the building painting job was so loud that you couldn't sit outside during work hours. The workers were using foul language. The rental co. did refund us 20% after multiple complaints, but I don't feel that was enough compensation. They should of informed us of the MAJOR construction happening (it was NOT stated in their VRBO listing) and we would have chosen a different accommodation. They claimed they did NOT have to inform us of any work per our rental agreement, although they admitted to knowing this work was happening. I was VERY disappointed in the deception and for that reason I would NOT rent from them in the future.

We have a dedicated painting project page and disclaimers on our website and we notify all guests in advance of the project when it directly impacts their condo and lanai, but not the entire resort, as the project is in constantly in motion. We see that our guest experience manager agreed to a substantial discount due to your concerns. We brought to the attention of the Honua Kai team the language of the workers and apologize on their behalf that you were subjected to foul language. As of 7/10/2023 there is no impact on the Hokulani Tower or Hokulani 815. We regret that this stay fell short of your expectations and we wish you all the best with your future travels. Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our time at this property! The condo was as described, clean with a beautiful view and helpful extras (cooler and beach chairs, dish washing soap, laundry detergent). Any questions we had were answered promptly.

Great family vacation spot!

This was exactly what we were hoping for. The room was very comfortable the the view was amazing. Everything in the kitchen worked well. The beach in front was very nice with plenty of aquatic life to watch while snorkeling. Food options and a grocery store were a short walk away. We loved the food truck park nearby. We will gladly stay here again.

Beautiful Property

We stayed in mid-August before school started. It was very crowded at the pools. Beautiful property and great location. There is a food truck area that is small but adds more food options within walking distance. Only problem was check-in… only 1 person to get bags, provide bracelets and hand over keys. It took over 20 mins each time. They need more help.

We were so pleased with everything! Condo was well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Loved our balcony views and sunsets! I’d definitely come back!

Gorgeous - inside and out.

Stunning views in an amazing resort with multiple amenities and a wonderful staff. Spacious, comfortable, and super clean unit. Ideal accommodations for two couples. Easy check-in and check-out. We visit the islands frequently and we will definitely be back! Mahalo.

Very Nice Unit / Great Ocean Views!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Very nice pools and direct beach access. Enjoyed going to Dukes (located on site) for drinks and a couple of meals. Honua Kai is a nice development. Loved the oversized balcony and ocean views. We opened the folding patio doors every day. The unit is clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic condo

This condo was amazing. Spacious and clean with a fantastic ocean view from the 8th floor. Wrap around patio with folding patio doors which totally opened the space. Would definitely stay here again.
