Moonrise Lodge is a fantastic vacation home located near Yosemite National Park, offering a secluded and spacious retreat for large families. With 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, the lodge spans 3,350 square feet and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.

One notable feature of Moonrise Lodge is its backup generator system. In the unlikely event of a power outage, the home is equipped with a Generac backup generator that is connected to the property, ensuring that guests can continue to enjoy their stay without any disruptions.

The lodge is an ideal choice for family reunions or holiday gatherings due to its generous size and amenities. It is situated on 14 acres of land, providing breathtaking mountain views and a tranquil atmosphere. The large kitchen is well-equipped, allowing guests to prepare meals and dine together. **Wonderful stay – highly recommend!**We had a fantastic experience at this property! The space was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The check-in was seamless and the game room was so fun for the kids. Our host was responsive and welcoming throughout our stay. What an amazing week we had in Yosemite. The accommodations had absolutely everything we needed and then some. House was immaculate and the communication with the host couldn't have been better! The hot tub fit all of us and was the perfect end to our hiking days. There were more than enough dishes, pans for baking, grill utensils, and 3 kinds of coffee makers (and the host left local beans to grind for coffee which were delicious). Extra towels, sheets, blankets along with a huge washer and dryer were so helpful to have. No issues connecting to wifi and the home has fans along with air that made the temperature comfortable. Highly recommend this property if you want a comfortable home with plenty of room for your family when visiting Yosemite. Thanks again!

Great stay over the long weekend

Great property with lots of games that was excellent for family time. Really well furnished with all the ammenties you would need. Would definitely go back.

Great Stay

Our family of 10 stayed at this house in July. It was very well stocked, had everything we needed and plenty of room for everyone. AC worked fine. We loved the king size beds, hot tub and isolated location. It was perfect thank you!

Beautiful Spacious House

Great location, beautiful and spacious! Plenty of bedrooms, a big kitchen with lots of appliances, and two cozy living rooms. Big fenced-in backyard with beautiful mountain view.

Great property w/ lots of amenitiese

My family and I stayed here recently as we were going to spend a few days at Yosemite. The location was great, quiet, almost secluded, and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies as well as amenities. Thank you for allowing us to borrow your fabulous home.

We had an amazing stay at this home in Mariposa and would absolutely come back! The house was exactly as advertised—if not better. It was spotless, very well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We stayed with two families, and the layout worked perfectly. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and still gather together. The kitchen was a standout—it was fully equipped and truly great for cooking, with all the tools, cookware, and pantry storage we needed to make meals easily. It made traveling with a group so much more enjoyable.The home had so many extra touches that made a difference, like a great washer and dryer (super helpful for families), TVs throughout the house, and a fun playroom that kept the kids entertained. After long days, the hot tub was the perfect place to unwind and relax.One of our favorite parts of the stay was the incredible moonrise each night—it was absolutely beautiful and something we looked forward to every evening.The hosts were fantastic—very responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with, which made everything seamless from start to finish.Overall, this home checked every box: clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Wedding Destination

Our son’s wedding was this weekend in Yosemite National Park. The location was perfect for our event. The house was very clean and accommodated our small wedding guests. The views from the house were beautiful. The host was very nice they made accommodation for our group which we are very thankful. We would definitely recommend this property and if we need it will stay there again.

Beautiful Place - Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay at the property! Super spacious and comfortable for our big group. Also well stocked and super clean. The location is great for trips to Yosemite, Bass Lake or both! It was everything we were looking for, and exceeded our expectations. Would book again for sure. Special thank-you to our hosts for the bottle of wine!

Great retreat

We loved our stay at Moonrise Lodge. 45 minutes to Yosemite, 15 minutes to town of Mariposa. Property was clean, well kept, well equiped kitchen and accessories. Would recommend anyone looking to spend time in Yosemite not camping in park look at this wonderfully comfortable place to escape.

Never had a better experience!!

I was blown away by this property from the very second I walked in! The area is gorgeous and so peaceful. The house was amazing, clean, and roomy. It had a huge, fully stocked kitchen where I got to make Thansgiving dinner. Loved the soaking bathtub to unwind. We look forward to returning one day. Thank you for sharing such a perfect place!

A well-appointed spacious retreat

Two families had a great time on a pre-Christmas getaway at this beautiful home. Whether it was waking to snow-capped view from the large, fenced backyard, chatting over breakfast at the covered back patio, enjoying one of many games in the ‘game garage’ or simply lounging in the reading room where the owners had thoughtfully arranged for a lovely Christmas tree (our 8 year old was chuffed), the place had something for everyone. If we ever do this again, it will definitely be at this wonderful retreat.

A little slice of heaven

Moonrise Lodge was perfect! We had to change our vacation plans last minute and we hadn’t initially planned to stay here but we are so glad we did. The property is secluded and the views are gorgeous. The game room was a hit with the kids and the parents. Ping pong got a litttttle competitive! The kitchen is the best stocked of any vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. Any utensil or gadget we needed was there. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Our small group had a great three night stay at this beautiful home. We had a relaxing, child-free trip, but we would love to come back again with our kids as it’s definitely a family-friendly place. I think we played every game available in that garage/game room.Plenty of clean, comfortable beds, and several areas with enough seating for all of us to kick back and relax together. Well-stocked kitchen with everything we could have needed, which was perfect since we brought groceries and were quite content to stay put instead of going out for meals.We spent a lot of time in the back yard enjoying the beautiful scenery, but my favorite part was probably the hot tub just outside the primary bedroom.I really appreciated all the communication both ahead of time and while we were there. Fortunately we didn’t need a thing.

Beautiful secluded location

This home is SO spacious and our family of 10 had plenty of room to roam! The game room was a hit for all of us! We enjoyed S'mores and singing around the fire pit under the stars! The place was well stocked with amenities but bring your own tissues and maybe extra bug spray for summer months! Our drive to and from the park was quite enjoyable and we visited Mariposa and Oakhurst while there, as well! The communication with the host was so efficient and always got a quick response! Thank you for the great accommodations!

Great getaway for a family reunion with pets

My family and I chose this property as a family reunion location for 10 people and 2 dogs. The owner communicated promptly and the check in process was super easy. My family loved the game room and we played a lot of ping pong. The house is very pet friendly and we loved the gated back yard area where the pups truly enjoyed themselves. The house is well stocked but we did run out of toilet paper and paper towels at some point. Not a big deal as we just bought more from town. The bathroom for the 3 main bedrooms did have a broken faucet (the handle to the hot water would fall off) other than that the house was incredible.

Communication was seamless and kind. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need and impeccably clean — the kind of clean that lets you immediately exhale and settle in. Every detail felt intentional.The layout made our stay even more memorable. The large fenced-in backyard was perfect — peaceful, private, and ideal for relaxing and letting everyone spread out. The game room brought so much fun and laughter to our evenings. And having three different eating areas — the formal dining room, the cozy eat-in kitchen, and the outdoor dining space — made every meal feel like its own special experience.The location is another gift. It offers just the right amount of seclusion — no immediate neighbors, complete privacy — yet it’s still an easy and scenic drive to Yosemite and other nearby attractions. Exceeded all expectations – even better than the pictures!**My family rent homes throughout California every year, and this is the best place we've stayed so far. The location is remote and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We skipped Yosemite due to the shutdown, but honestly didn’t miss it—this place had everything we needed.The home is spacious and mostly on one level, making it very comfortable and accessible. Though there were only four of us, the house could easily accommodate a group of up to 10. With two living rooms and a game room, everyone can spread out and enjoy their own space without feeling crowded.The kitchen is a dream—fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook just about any meal. The large island (with a second sink!) made it easy for two people to cook together, and the generous pantry is great for storing groceries for a big group.Our dogs had a blast running around the large fenced yard. The area is so quiet and remote that we never had to worry about them wandering into traffic. Meanwhile, we relaxed in the hot tub and watched them play—perfect!The house was spotless, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities. It truly felt like a hotel stay: from the provided toiletries to extras like blow drier and toothbrushes, they thought of everything.The amazing hosts Amanda and Ramzi made the stay extra special. Highly recommend!

What an amazing property. Not a cheap flip, it's a really high quality home with tons of room for our group to spread out. We loved the game room and the loft area to keep the kids entertained and happy. Add to that no less than three ways to make coffee, and we had some happy adults! Details thoughtfully considered, with many bonus amenities.I was a little wary of the 5k damage deposit, but we did get it back. The hosts were communicative and helpful. Great stay, would highly recommend.
