Villa Verbena is the kind of desert estate that turns a group trip into a full-property takeover. Set on 1.71 acres in Bermuda Dunes, this Mediterranean-style retreat gives up to 16 guests room to gather, celebrate, and spread out, with resort-style outdoor spaces, a dedicated padel court, generous interiors, and entertainment at nearly every turn.

Inside, the home is bright, polished, and built for groups who want more than one place to land. Oversized living and dining spaces flow through the main house with crisp white walls, warm wood floors, arched details, and modern finishes that keep the estate feeling fresh and elevated. The kitchen is designed for serious group meals, with a large island, bar seating, professional-style appliances, and plenty of prep space, while multiple dining areas and lounge spaces give everyone room to move between coffee, dinner, games, and late-night conversation. A game room with ping pong, shuffleboard, and TV adds an easy indoor hangout when the group wants a little friendly competition.

With 12 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms spread across three separate spaces, Villa Verbena is built for larger families, friend groups, and celebration stays that need real room to spread out. The main house includes 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, while the guest house adds 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the casita offers another 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. That separation gives different parts of the group more privacy while keeping everyone connected across the estate.

Outside is where the estate fully opens up. Start around the pool and spa, then let the day move naturally into a match on the tennis/pickleball court or the dedicated padel court, with equipment provided for each. Between games, there’s a bocce ball court, golf putting corner, basketball hoop with a small court, and cornhole for something a little more casual. When everyone is ready to regroup, the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, covered dining space, and lounge areas make it easy to keep meals and conversation outside. As the desert light fades, two fire pits give the group separate places to settle in and stretch the evening a little longer. With so much built into the grounds, Villa Verbena makes it easy to move from pool time to court time to dinner and fireside drinks without ever needing to leave the property.

The location gives Villa Verbena its edge. Set in Bermuda Dunes, a quiet Coachella Valley pocket, the estate has the desert skies, palm-lined streets, and mountain backdrops that make it feel private without putting the region out of reach. Nearby, the valley opens up with golf, shopping, dining, spas, and desert day trips through places like Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and Palm Springs. Festival grounds, tennis events, hiking trails, and destination restaurants are all easy to work into the itinerary. Whether the plan is a family celebration, a pool-first retreat, or a long weekend built around golf, events, and desert exploring, Villa Verbena gives the group a spacious Bermuda Dunes base with plenty to enjoy beyond the property.
