Immaculate, freshly painted and decorated to make you feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen allows one to prepare meals if one wishes. The bedroom has a queen size bed, fresh crisp white linen. You are provided with laundry detergent, a washer and dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, white towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. A small deck below offers a view of the bay, incoming fishing boats and colorful sunsets.

The Blue Pearl is a lovely, welcoming, well-appointed, and well-maintained space which provided everything we needed. The host was friendly, professional, organized and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay and the Blue Pearl provided a comfortable home base to explore Cheticamp and the Cape Breton Highlands. The central location enabled us to walk to many downtown attractions. The private deck gave us a place to relax afterwards.

The Blue Pearl is a warm and inviting home-away-from-home! Absolutely perfect in so many ways. Located right on the main road through Cheticamp and at the harbor. This location is a great base camp for enjoying the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park. This apartment's kitchen and bathroom is well-appointed (the best I've come across). The creativity, talent, and attention to detail that went into making this apartment a cozy respite from your travels is quite evident. We were able to enjoy the private patio with a view of the harbor, and had the pleasure of meeting Roland and having a lovely conversation with Sandra. We are so happy to have stumbled across this little gem! We highly recommend!

The Blue Pearl is a lovely unit with a quaint back deck that is quiet with a view of the fishing boats. The unit is very well appointed and the owners art work on the walls was beautiful. We met Roland and he was super friendly ensuring we had everything we needed. We would stay again on our next visit to the Cape Breton Highlands.

We loved staying at the Blue Pearl. It’s a beautiful little apartment located conveniently in the heart of Chéticamp. Sandra and Roland are very friendly and helpful hosts. The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. We appreciated having a washer and dryer and enjoyed relaxing on the harbor view patio. Sandra’s gorgeous paintings on the walls and her homemade banana bread made it even more special.

Perfect size and location for a week of exploring. It's close to restaurants, grocery stores and gas! The kitchen had what I needed for meals at home, too! It's a beautiful area and easy to get to.

100% recommend this property. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, including anything you could need in the kitchen. Great location for all the hiking in the national park. Would love to come back one day!

Great place to stay!

The Blue Pearl is a great place to stay! The place is immaculate, has a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. We found baked goods welcoming us upon our arrival! It is a short drive to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. We were able to walk to the restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Blue Pearl 4 nights, and it was a perfect location to explore the west side of Cape Breton. Blue Pearl is spotless, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Healthy eating can be a challenge away from home so having a good kitchen with sharp knives and lots of dishes is greatly appreciated. As is a washer & dryer when you are on a long road trip. We would definitely stay here again!

My dream was to return to Cheticamp Nova Scotia after spending years moving to different places with my husband Roland who was a military man. I am now where I want to be, by the ocean in my hometown. I love my village, the people and most of all the beauty that surrounds me.

This property is on the main street, but has a waterfront. One can walk to restaurants, bank, pubs, museums and of course to Le Portage Golf Course. The beautiful Cabot Trail is but a 10 minute drive and one can never be disappointed to be at this location.

Being downtown gives you the advantage of meeting local Acadians, going to a local restaurant or pub to eat and listen to local music, enjoy a glass of Nova Scotia wine, or beer without having to worry about driving.
