Had a wonderful time even though the fish hatchery was closed so the creeks weren’t being stocked. Had everything we needed at the house. Went to Mt. Lassen, Subway Caves, Fall River Mills, and fished every day.

We felt warmly welcomed at this vacation home. The home is tip-top clean, very well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. It is truly a getaway home from city life. Ron is very thoughtful and responsive. The location is great- it locates in between Burney Falls and the Lassen Park so we did not have to drive too much. We hagelt at home here and had great memories with family. Thank you.

This is a beautiful cabin! Note that the first image of the water is not representative of this cabin. It is nowhere near the water. Despite the confusion the picture caused me, the cabin was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the stay. I just wish I had read more carefully, rather than relying on the first pic I saw, which led me to believe it was near the water. My mistake. It was quite hot during our visit, but the AC worked. A special treat was being visited by a beautiful grey fox every morning!

Great private retreat. Comfortable, cozy with a great kitchen where we baked fresh fruit pies, cornbread and chili. It was relaxing and we really appreciated the privacy.

My two boys and I had a great time. Perfect location for fishing, hiking, and exploring. This property is a close drive to so many activities in nature is a true gem. Easy helpful host. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing! If you are looking to go somewhere for a reset or getaway close to Burney Falls or Lassen National Park, book this. The cabin had every amenity you would need and then some.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was well equipped and comfortable. The neighborhood was off the main road and quiet. The property was centrally located with short drives to Lassen and Burney falls. Although there were only two of use the place had ample room for a larger family. I highly recommend this property. Hope we can return someday.

Great home base for fishing weekend

We stayed at the house for a fly fishing weekend, and had a great time. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We had some great fishing within a short drive. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Cabin

We really enjoyed staying at the Hat Creek Retreat.Great location for exploring the surrounding area and taking day trips to Lassen Park, Burney Falls, Shasta, etc... It's nice to come home to all the amenities and comfort of a cabin.

A charming place in a beautiful setting

This place had everything we needed for our outdoor getaway. Very close to Burney Falls and Hat Creek fishing is right next door. Looking forward to our opportunity to return.
