The ENTIRE house is located in the small village of La Cassaigne (130 inhabitants) in the heart of the Lauragais.
This beautiful and quiet village is 15 minutes from Castelnaudary, 20 minutes from Carcassonne, 20 minutes from the Medieval City of Mirepoix in Ariège in the heart of the Cathar Country... and also 15 minutes from the Canal du Midi, an hour from Narbonne or Toulouse.
Accommodation:
On the first floor there is a large fully equipped kitchen (4-burner gas bottle stove, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher but also washing machine/dryer 10kg.+ very large fridge-freezer for weekly shopping. All the utensils necessary for the preparation of meals.
A staircase leads above to a bedroom/living room equipped with a large sofa bed that can be used as a bed for 2 and a mezzanine above with a 90 cm bed.The living room is equipped with a large television with access to Netflix. (WIFI is present.)
In the continuity of the living room is the LARGE LOFT with a 160 cm bed & the bathroom (walk-in shower) with the second living room and the toilet with washbasin.
A large staircase leads directly from the Loft to the very large DOUBLE roof terrace without vis-à-vis, exposed -like all the rooms- to the south/south-east (rising sun very present from morning to evening)
The terrace is equipped to prepare all your meals directly from Breakfast to Dinner.
The equipment of the terrace includes all the necessary crockery and accessories as well as
plancha, barbecue, hob-ceram and kettle. Running water with stainless steel drain sink, electrical outlets etc... Wonderful summer skies for stargazing...
Two large cantilever parasols, sun loungers... and oleanders.
