With AMAZING YEAR ROUND MOUNTAIN VIEWS, this 2-Bed 2-Bath cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. This cabin offers complete privacy while only 8.5 miles away from downtown Pigeon Forge.

The space
Bear Paw Lodge is a secluded cabin in Wears Valley that offers:
- Large 3-tiered wrap around deck with plenty of space
- Private hot tub on the lower-level deck to take in the views
- Full game room w/pool table, air hockey, arcade game w/ 60+ games, jumbo connect 4 and a selection of board games.
- Full private bathroom on each level, downstairs bath includes large jetted tub
- TVs in each bedroom, living room, & game room.
- Indoor gas fireplace
- Charcoal grill
- Full size laundry room with washer & dryer
- Fully paved road to the cabin.

- The private road is considered mountainous but not steep. It is paved, narrow in some spots and does have a sharp turn. Most standard cars are able to access & a 4X4 would be required in any winter weather.

- This cabin uses satellite internet, which can be spotty and speeds can vary during certain times of the day. It can be used for Wi-Fi texting & very basic internet usage. It is not capable for streaming video or gaming. If you require reliable fast speed internet, this cabin is very secluded and limited in its internet options and may not be for you. It is however a great cabin to unplug and relax.

The basic items are provided to get your stay started: bar soap, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, dish washer pods, dish detergent, paper towels, laundry pods, dryer sheets. We will also provide all bath towels & linens needed for your stay. Please plan to provide additional items to last your stay.

Guest access/Communication:
We will send you all the information needed through the VRBO messenger.
Directions, door code, wifi info, etc will all be sent prior to your stay and you'll have access to our digital guidebook with all necessary info.

We will respond quickly to most messages from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week. We are owner operated with normal jobs just like you, just wanting to share our home so others can enjoy as well.

House Rules/Other things to note:
*By booking, you are agreeing to the terms in our Rental Agreement as well as the House Rules on VRBO. You'll be required to sign the Rental Agreement at the time of booking, and will have 48 hours to cancel, penalty free, according to our cancelation policy.
*We do highly recommend buying TRIP INSURANCE in case any unexpected circumstances come up prior to your stay.
*We provide & require accidental damage insurance with each booking. This will show up as a $50 Administrative Fee at the time of booking, and info can be found through this link - https://waivo.io/client/red-door-rentals/
*No refunds will be offered for incidents that are out of our control (weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god/etc).....look into the proper TRIP INSURANCE.
*With the cabin being in the mountains, Wi-Fi connections can be spotty and speeds can vary during certain times of the day. No refunds will be given for poor internet performance.
*Cell phone service can be intermittent depending on wireless carrier.
*We require that guests booking our cabin be at least age 21 or older.
*No parties, outside visitors, or overnight guests without prior approval from the host. There is a maximum of 6 humans allowed to stay overnight.
*Although our cabin is suitable for children, it is not child proof. It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to monitor any children's actions at all times.
*This cabin is professionally cleaned after each check out. Any excess cleaning charges will be passed on to the guest.
*If any soaps or oils are used in the hot tub, causing extra cleaning after the stay, you can be charged an extra $100 cleaning fee.
*Bugs and Animals: The cabin is professionally treated by a licensed pest control company each month, but you can still expect to see the occasional pest in and around the cabin. Some common insects that may show up during your stay: Lady Bugs, Millipedes, Scorpions, Carpenter Bees, and Wasp. There is also plenty of wildlife in the mountains of Tennessee. Do not approach or feed any wild animals. Bears are common in this area, do not leave any food in your car or outside while not attended. Make sure to lock all doors & keep all trash secured in the bear proof trash bin.
*If winter weather arises, 4WD vehicles are recommended to avoid being snowed in. If there is any snow storm expected, you should be prepared with necessary food and any other supplies as the road is not maintained by the county.
*This cabin, like most in the area, is on mountain well water, and is treated & filtered by a professional water treatment company. There will still be an odor to the water which is why we suggest bringing bottled water to drink.
*The last ¼ mile of the private entry road has a moderate slope.
*NO PARTIES - quiet time is from 10pm-8am.
*NO PETS ALLOWED - any guest found with an unauthorized pet will be charged a $250 fee and your stay will be terminated without a refund.
*NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CABIN - Smoking of any kind including vapor and e-cigarettes is NOT permitted inside the cabin. Any extra cleaning fees due to smoking will be passed on to guest.
*A Ring security camera is located at the front of the cabin overlooking driveway & at the front door, that will capture video & audio. It is motion activated and is capable of recording and transmitting video to the owner via the Ring App. This is for security and safety reasons. These are the only cameras on the property.
