Everything was amazing from the check in to the check out.The house was extremely clean and very nice. The view was beautiful and they had Everything in the the that I needed. They also had a plug in for your electric car. The stay was amazing and I will definitely stay here again when I return to the area.

The house is vintage with a very interesting history. The house was very clean and comfortable. Loved the view of the marina - we had a front row seat to the fireworks. I would book again if our travel needs determine it.

Amazing stay! Super accommodating and responsive host. Incredibly well-appointed. The pics don’t do the views justice. I’ve stated in lots of VRBOs and this was one of the most satisfying rentals I’ve had. This place would be great for couples or families.

Relaxing getaway

Such an incredible view! So relaxing to look out over the water & marina with a view from every room! Hot tub ready & waiting upon our arrival & early check-in was graciously accomodated.

Beautiful water views

I absolutely loved this house. The views from the sun room and upstairs rooms are amazing. The kayaks were amazing with views of mount Rainer. Loved the hot tub.

Great house

Fantastic house with an amazing view of the water and marina. Ample space with all of the amenities you would want or need. Hot Tub and Fireplace were perfect for the fall weather.

Great weekend getaway with friends

We had a lovely friend getaway to celebrate a birthday. The Chowder House was the perfect location. The hosts communicated well. Checking in and out was a breeze. The house and grounds are grand and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed lounging in the sunroom. Definitely recommend this rental.

Wonderfully supplied with the little things. That was very helpful. Maybe repair the screens so windows can be opened and maintain the yard a bit more so its more enjoyable to use. The house itself wonderfully clean and comfortable beds.

Great place and area

This house suited our needs perfectly. The listing description was accurate. Plenty of linens & kitchen utensils. History of this house & area is very interesting. Took a kayak (along with our paddle board) out 3 of the 5 days. Enjoyed minus tides at Penrose Pt & Kopachuck St Pks.

Awesome place to stay. Highly recommend

Great vacation n remote work place we where there for a week. I had to work part of it n WiFi workspace ease excellent. Plus great view.home was perfect. Had everything we needed. Kayaks jacuzzi. Host were great. Highly recommend. Bed was comfortable good mattress. Very clean. Plenty of room for family or just the 2 of you

Washington week to relax

We came up from Texas to enjoy the cooler weather of Washington and it did not disappoint. The home has a lot of character and history and we enjoyed it. The only thing we noticed was lack of yard upkeep around the place but it sure did not effect our enjoyment of the property. Very peaceful at this location and about 1 hour to get to Seattle.

Perfect girls + kids trip!

I stayed here with my mom, sister and my sister's two kids. It was a perfect little get away for us. The house was very cute, there we some games and kids toys. It's always nice to have some different toys for the kids to play with. I loved that the light switches and cupboards were all labeled. You didn't have to hunt around to find anything.

Lovely property with great view.

Property was as advertised. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Stephanie quickly responded to my few messages. Our only problem was the tall beds. My wife is quite short and could not manage to sleep in them even with the provided stool. She was able to sleep on the futon.

Thanks for your review Ron. I am also short (5'2") and with the stool, can get in an out of both beds. There is a larger step stool in the kitchen, had I known there was a problem. It's tucked next to the refrigerator, so easy to miss. I hope she was comfortable on the futon! It's hard to find bedroom type stools that are sturdy but I will do some research.
