This rustic, warm and cozy cabin overlooks a beautiful 48 acre lake. When you arrive at the cabin you will be met with a breathtaking view of the lake. The lake is stocked with trophy large mouth bass, catfish and bream. You can relax on the porch and let your senses awaken with the sights and sounds of nature all around you. Early risers can enjoy a cup of coffee and an immense and absolute beautiful sunrise.

THE SPACE:
The cabin is rustic, warm and cozy. You are sure to feel right at home when you enter.

KITCHEN:
A full kitchen, stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. Has a refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee pot.

LIVING AREA:
The charming living area offers a dinette, reading chair and a full sized bed; complete with fresh clean linens.

LOFT:
Upstairs offers a loft with two twin beds, with a view of the lake.

BATHROOM:
Cabin offers one bathroom. That has a shower with linens and complimentary personal travel sized personal hygiene.

OUTDOOR FEATURES:
Porch that offers great views of the lake. A fire pit beside the lake to enjoy some smores! A charcoal BBQ grill to enjoy a memorable BBQ. A picnic table to enjoy a evening meal on a cool breezy evening. Enjoy some fishing right from there pier. If you are bringing a boat to fish, let me know ahead of time to reserve your spot to fish, there is a fee when bringing a boat of $50 per person each day you plan to be on the lake.

This cabin will truly give you a country experience with its rustic charm. As soon as you
enter the cabin I am sure you will feel right at home. If you are ready to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist attractions, then this is the perfect place for you to be!

**NOTE**
For your safety, the cabin is sanitized and deep cleaned between guests. We are very careful to do a complete surface cleaning throughout the cabin with a commercial grade sanitizer.

We recently purchased this property and this Vrbo is new to us. However, this cabin is not new to Vrbo, it has been on Vrbo for several years with nothing but satisfied reviews. I plan to maintain those reviews and extend the southern hospitality as the previous owners.

The Hovater’s were excellent hosts, everything was very good, My guess loved the view.The only thing mentioned, was it would be nice if some more vegetation was cut, that more of the view could be enjoyed.

The view is fantastic but there's no wifi and no service for cell phones (at least with my carrier), there were dead and living bugs that get in through a crack under the front door, and there's no actual driveway so in had to drive my car through potholes, mud, and across a small very uneven field to get there and out every day. There isn't even a sign, just two red reflectors near the road to guide you in. I was pretty disappointed in the accommodations for the price per night I paid. Better accommodations and cleanliness at the nearby hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the fantastic view, but we would like to clarify a few points for future guests. At the time of your stay, our listing clearly stated that the cabin did not have Wi-Fi. Cell service can also vary depending on the individual carrier, which unfortunately is outside of our control in a rural setting. Regarding the bugs, the cabin does have a clear door sweep installed underneath the front door specifically to prevent insects from entering. Being a cabin located directly on a lake and surrounded by nature, an occasional insect can certainly be possible, but we take cleanliness and pest control seriously. There is an established dirt road leading to the cabin. Because this is a rural lake property, the road can become muddy or develop rough areas after heavy rain. Guests should not have to drive through a field to reach the cabin, and we are unsure why that route was taken. We do agree that the entrance could be more clearly marked, and we appreciate that feedback. Our cabin is intended to offer a peaceful, private lake experience rather than a hotel-style stay. We understand that a secluded, rural cabin may not be the right fit for everyone, but we always want our listing to accurately represent what guests can expect before booking

Our little dog absolutely loved the area. Lots of places to run. Sitting on the deck having a cocktail was great. This is our first VRBO ever. The only thing for us is that it was hard to find, no WiFi totally enjoyed the stay

Absolutely beautiful location !! Accommodations were wonderful . Only thing that may have been helpful would be a ceiling fan to move the heat down to the living area as we had a few chilly days . Sunrise & sunsets from porch were amazing . I would recommend this cabin & would also stay again .

The cabin was clean and inviting with beautiful view of the lake from the porch. All we needed was a few groceries and we were set! The fishing was great as well. Will be planning another trip in the spring.

Very dirty and the bathroom door would not open. Spiders in bed and rat droppings in upstairs twin bed. We left after first night. Smells like cigarettes smoke and has cigarette butts everywhere.
