I visit this area regularly and am looking for a place to consistently book. This rental was comfortable and nicely laid out. Perfect for 2 - 3 adults or a small family. The kitchen is well appointed and the main living space has plenty of light with windows that open. Ocean view is minimal and from an outside deck. I enjoyed my stay here. Quarry Park and Maverick beach, as well as the coast trail are within walking distance. Sams and the harbor are further away but still a easy bike ride or longer walk. My only complaint is the noise from the unit upstairs. There are maybe 4 units in a large house and unfortunately there is not adequate noise insulation. You definitely want ear plugs to sleep. Other than that I think I would stay here again.

Great neighborhood and clean place to stay

We loved staying here. It was very close to the beach (walkable), and a short drive to half moon bay. Mavericks beach is right across this street and down the road which is also a must see.

Great beach getaway

Clean and comfortable stay at a great location. Directions to get into the apartment were a bit confusing but the host answered immediately and helped us quickly. We appreciated her responsiveness and had a great stay

Great spot!

Location is great, super close to the beach. Very clean and nicely decorated. Loved that we were able to bring our dog. There’s no fenced in yard, so potty breaks have to be walks, just think that’s worth noting. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Weekend Beach Getaway!

We had such a great stay here, very clear instructions and great communication with property manager. Diana was wonderful and accommodated our early check in. It is so nice to find a place that welcomes dogs, our dogs had such a fun time as well :) the space was roomy, cute, clean and had everything we needed! definitely recommend staying here and we can’t wait to return!

Convenient and cute!

The property was convenient to CA 1 and all it has to offer! Amenities were as described and met our needs. If you have accessibility needs, this property has stairs to climb to reach the unit. The property host responded quickly to our questions and provided a good experience. We would stay here again and recommend this property!

Owner might want to consider purchasing some comfortable furniture. The bedroom mattress seemed a bit overused, and they are in definite need of furniture in the TV room. Other than the location, I would neither come back, nor recommend anyone I know staying there.

Weekend at the Bay

The property was clean and neat. Close to the marina and downtown. We didn't anticipate the stairs to the unit. It was nice to have someplace close to our weekend activities. We were a little disappointed in the lack of space for luggage or hanging our clothes. We also could have used some instruction on how the heating system worked. Overall it was comfortable and a nice space for 2 people.

Overall great experience

Husband and I are both born & raised in Half Moon Bay. We needed a home base for the holidays and this was the perfect option. Could spend time with family all day, then head back to our own spot at night. Will definitely suggest this to our friends still living in HMB, when they have family/friends visiting and need a spot of their own.
