Great weekend getaway

This was the perfect property for our weekend getaway. Our family had a qonderful time here. This property was a great and quiet. We enjoyed time on the big deck in back as well as time spent inside playing games. There is plenty to do here.

Stayed here with my husband, and two kids to see my older son graduate from Purdue. It was about 30 minutes to the campus, which wasn't so bad. The rental was beautiful, pics don't do it justice. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were also plenty of linens and towels for everyone. My 10-year-old daughter stayed in the loft and loved having that space. Overall, I would def stay here again and recommend it to friends. Very easy to communicate with the manager, even though I didn't really need to speak with her except to check in and check out, since we didn't have any problems. Thank you for letting us stay here for this very special occasion in our lives.

Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at the lakeside cottage! It was a perfect little place with a wonderful view of the lake. The huge deck was a big plus and many places to sit in the shade and sun. A great spot to fish off the dock and the place had all the things we needed to make our weekend wonderful.

Beautiful place and area.

It was a beautiful house. The area was beautiful. Everything worked. Nice place to relax and just chill by the water. I will be staying here again.

We had a great stay. Lots of deck with good views of the lake. The location is quiet and peaceful. The only small issue we had was very low water pressure inside the cabin, especially in the kitchen and then some wasps around the deck but nothing some raid wouldn’t take care of. Overall it was a wonderful trip!! I’d recommend this place to any family wanting a lake getaway.

Memorial Day

We stayed here for Memorial Day and the property was beautiful. Also, Grace was very responsive and just so great overall. I will definitely book that house again! Thank you Grace!

Nice Girls Getaway

Great spirit for a weekend with the girls. Some floating in the lake, enjoying the fire pit, and SO many lake view decks to choose from. Even the pull out couch was pretty comfy (which is a rarity).

Beautiful and quiet

Loved our stay here. The lake was beautiful, the neighborhood was quiet, the house was cute and perfect for us, though we spent most of our time outside. The check in procedures were simple, Grace communicated very well, and the whole stay was great from start to finish. Thank you, Grace. We will almost certainly be back.

Purdue Bound

Great location and beautiful mornings and evenings on the deck. The summer home fit 4 adults and 2 pre-teens comfortably. Very close to stores and only 30 min to Purdue.

Amazingly accommodating!!

Our family had a wonderful week at Lake Freeman!!! Grace is the best host I have worked with on VRBO. She went above and beyond! The location is beautiful and the multiple level decks made sitting outside so enjoyable!!!! We had a blast and will definitely be back!!

Perfect little Lakehouse

This house was so cute. The owner thought of everything, from linens and towels to little extras you may forget. The deck was amazing and takes you diwn to the water. The decor is nice and not dated or overly complex. The place is quiet and peaceful...just what we needed. The owner was responsive and all that was advertised was true. Enjoyed our stay very much.

A little slice of heaven.

This property was truly amazing. The views were stunning; the sunsets and sunrises were to die for. The property was clean and kept up to date, and the host was straightforward to communicate with. I would not change a thing, except maybe I would have stayed another week if I had had the time off.
