We are a charming 19th century pub on the edge of Dover. We offer free breakfast, free parking and free & fast wi-fi. A friendly warm welcome with a walk-in shower and a Nespresso coffee machine for your use. The full facilities of the pub are downstairs as well and you have 24/7 access to your room.

Great stay above a local pub. Included full English breakfast. Everyone was super friendly and room was very clean and updated. Would recommend as a place to stay very close to Dover

Perfect place for a stopover before the ferry, room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything we needed.Host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and fed us well.Would definitely recommend this to others, and will certainly return.

Fun! Staff and locals in Pub fantastic. Not a boring chain lodging.Rooms small but adequate. Stairs historic. Not for handicapped.

It was lovely. We were lucky enough to have a brand new mattress. The room was great and the shower was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The foodwas delicious!

Sehr gute Lage, wenn man am nächsten Tag die Fähre nach Calais nehmen möchte. Wegen unseres frühen Aufbruchs gab es das Frühstück zum Mitnehmen. Alles sehr sauber, schönes Bad, gutes und günstiges Essen im unten liegenden Pub ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Dafür allerdings relativ laut, bis der Pub schließt. Hundefreundlich.

Weekend stay

Beautiful quaint pub, lovely cozy room, good breakfast with hot drinks or cold drinks. Friendly staff very obliging and helpful. Fresh towels, and tea and coffee for you on the room. Would highly recomend and if in that area again we would stay here.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Netter Pub. Da wir eine frühe Fähre gebucht hatten, erhielten statt des Frühstücks 2 Lunchpakete, die wir auf der Fähre genießen konnten.

Quick stay

My husband wanted to see the White Cliffs of Dover. The other hotel that we previously booked had to cancel for appropriate reasons. This was booked last minute. The lady who checked us in was very helpful. The room very comfortable. The room pictures with bathroom were spot on and very lovely.

Pre early morning Ferry stop over

A very nice stop over on a long journey. Menus might have been a little more accurate. eg battered Brie pieces no cranberry sauce!

Charming, clean, comfy

We enjoyed our stay. The room was neat and comfortable and the staff was friendly and welcoming. And we enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning! We have given four instead of five stars because there was a private part at the pub that night, which hindered our dinner options greatly and music we could hear clearly in our room playing late into the evening. The location of the inn was not near by any other options for dinner, so that was a bit unfortunate.
