Eight minutes to Sunday River! Two bdrm apartment. Ski, golf, hike & relax.

Bienvenidos a Casita, su refugio en las montañas de Maine, ubicado a solo ocho minutos del área de esquí y del campo de golf de Sunday River. A muy pocos minutos también encontrarán áreas extensas para hacer senderismo, ciclismo, snowshoeing y esquí de fondo. Además, encontrarán excelentes zonas para la pesca.

Después de un día al aire libre, podrán relajarse en un cómodo apartamento de dos habitaciones, con entrada privada, perfecto para familias.

El estacionamiento techado los protege de la intemperie y da acceso directo a un cuarto equipado con secadores de botas, ideal para dejar la ropa y el equipo de montaña. Desde allí, una escalera interior conduce al apartamento ubicado en el segundo piso.

El espacio destaca por su concepto abierto y su mobiliario de calidad. La cocina está completamente equipada para preparar cualquier comida y se integra, junto con el wet bar, a una amplia y cómoda zona de sala/comedor.

El dormitorio principal dispone de una cama queen, mientras que el segundo cuenta con una cama queen y una individual. El baño es amplio e incluye lavadora y secadora.

El apartamento ofrece Wi-Fi de alta velocidad, perfecto para jugar en línea, hacer streaming o trabajar de forma remota.

Amazing place

We loved staying at the Casita - everything was so well organized and we were particularly thrilled that the kitchen had absolutely everything in it that we could want for cooking. Owners were easily available for questions. Great place!

Everything was wonderful. From arriving and parking in the carport, the boot dryers in the mudroom for our wet ski gear, a pleasant warm comfy living area. All wonderful. The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked. The 8” of new snow delivered right on time Saturday morning added to the experience. Thank you.

Perfect location for mountain proximity

The home was wonderful. Great location and only minutes to the mountain. Comfortable accommodations with a full kitchen and great entertainment. We loved the boot warmers in the entry way as well. Looking forward to our return.

Great spot for Sunday River skiing

Great apartment, updated, kitchen very well equipped. Ample seating in living room. Perfect spot for two couples skiing at Sunday River for the weekend. And covered parking area helped with the snow!

Great stay in Newy at the Casita

This property is very well appointed with a great layout. The mudroom is fantastic with lots of storage and boot and glove heaters as well. We had a wonderful 4 week stay and didn’t lack for anything. Really appreciated the well stocked kitchen with lots of plates, utensils, etc. So quick to Sunday River and great snowshoeing across the street. Can’t say enough about how great this place is.

Feb break school vacation

Communication with Ted was excellent. My wife and I were both extremely impressed with how clean this property is. The kitchen is beautiful and the bedrooms are comfortable. Nice to have laundry as well. Highly recommend renting this place.

We have been taking family trips to Sunday River for about eight years now. We normally try a new house for each trip. This is the first time we have gone back to a house a second time. I love the way this house is set up. It is super clean and the living area is perfect size for myself. My wife and my two boys. Sleeping arrangements are great as well with a separate bedroom for the kids with a queen and full-size bed. Bambi and Ted are great hosts and communication is top-notch. Great location and very private.

Early March Ski Trip

Wonderful 2-bdrm condo that is so convenient to the slopes.Communication with the owner was incredible, he proactively reached out to tell us that due to high winds the lifts were closed so we could modify our plans a bit.Fresh local coffee was a really nice touch and much appreciated.Thanks for a great long weekend, hope to do it agin in 2026!

Can't say enough good things about this property . Hosts have thought of everything to help make you feel at home. Decorated beautifully. Host was super responsive. Spacious and airy throughout, beautiful kitchen. All the details here have been covered.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful ski bungalow! The home feels brand new—either recently built or thoughtfully renovated—with modern finishes, cozy touches, and impeccable cleanliness throughout. The two bedrooms and one bathroom were perfectly laid out for our group, and the space felt both stylish and incredibly comfortable after long days on the mountain.The location truly can’t be beat—just about five minutes from Jordan Bowl parking at Sunday River, which made getting to and from the slopes quick and effortless. It was so nice to spend more time skiing and less time driving or dealing with logistics.The bungalow itself was warm, inviting, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It really struck the perfect balance between a charming ski retreat and a modern, updated space.Thank you so much for the hospitality—we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely love to return!

Great location - great place!

This was the perfect spot for our ski trip at Sunday River! It comes equipped with an awesome mudroom complete with several dryers for ski boots and gloves -- what a perfect touch! The apartment has games, puzzles, coffee, and more. Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful place!

Comfortable and clean

We had a great stay! We went to ski at Sunday River, about 8 minute drive. The unit is comfortable and very clean! Enough seating for 5-6 in the living room/kitchen. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, plenty of pots/pans, baking racks, plates, and a keurig coffee maker. I appreciated that the owner had some games/puzzles to do bc we got rained out one day. The mud room is especially nice. Plenty of hooks for jackets, shelf for shoes, and boot trays for ski stuff.

Outstanding

The property was immaculately clean and extremely well appointed. The mudroom entrance is spacious with multiple boot/glove dryers, boot mats and baskets for winter gear. Everything looks freshly painted and the stair carpeting looks, feels and smells brand new fresh! The kitchen is state of the art and well equipped with all of the essentials. The separate drink fridge is pre-stocked with a sampling of Maine-made soda/beer/wine as a gift from the hosts. The living area and bedrooms were comfortable and warm with thoughtful rug placement and new appearing furnishings. I would have already recommended it to a friend.

This space was perfect in every way--you'll be glad you choose to stay here!

Edward's place was perfect for our ski weekend--every detail was meticulous, clean, and oh so comfortable! Located in an ideal setting--close to Sunday River (a 5 minute drive), quiet and just off the beaten path. The four of us had a wonderful time and hope to visit again next year!

Beautiful spot close to the mountain

Beautiful house less than 10 minutes from Sunday River main lodge. The pictures dont do this place its full justice. It is very clean and has plenty of space. We had a group of 4 and it fits two couples perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked and all the essentials are provided. The owners left us some local beer and wine which was a nice touch. Very much recommend this spot.

Beautifully constructed, very clean, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped apartment. Perfect set up for our family of 4. Great location, close to Sunday River and downtown Bethel. Nice covered parking with a dream mudroom set up for any outdoor adventures. Feel like we found a gem, looking forward to staying here again!

Amazing stay!!

What a beautiful spot! Clean, well stocked. Quick access to great skiing and restaurants. Even a covered parking so we didn’t have to shovel off our car in the morning. Thanks Ted for the wonderful hospitality!

Cozy and clean

This property was well cared for and the renters were great. All the information was clear and easy to follow and they left us a list of things to do nearby. Would highly recommend and hope to be back.

Your hosts, Bambi and Ted, live just one hundred yards away. We take personal pride in offering a clean, quiet and well equipped apartment. We are close by but by no means under foot.

Ted moved to Sunday River in 2005 and has been a Newry (the local town) resident ever since. He has been associated with the Sunday River Ski Resort since 2007 including thirteen years as a ski and snowboard instructor. Need some local knowledge on where to ski at Sunday River? Ask Ted.

Bambi started visiting Sunday River and more importantly, Ted, in 2008. A long time resident of Springvale, Maine, she moved to Newry permanently in 2015. Happily retired from a 40+ year nursing career she now an amateur potter.

After many years of living in a townhouse Ted and Bambi located their perfect spot in Newry. Located on the valley floor and nestled against the Sunday River the property offered the peace and quiet while still being close to the resort.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Don´t let the description - a second-floor apartment - fool you. You will be the only guest in the building since the first-floor is a shop and pottery studio used by the Ted and Bambi..

Casita is cozy and furnished for a family of four or five in mind. While Ted takes care of the business side Bambi sees to it that the apartment is spotless and the kitchen outfitted to accommodate full meal preparations.
