The Schoolhouse · The Schoolhouse

This newly remodeled turn-of-the-century duplex was one of the original schools in Walla Walla. Completely remodeled in 2016, the "Schoolhouse" is now yours to enjoy.

Original hardwoods and coved ceilings still adorn the rooms. All new furnishings, fixtures and appointments have been installed throughout. The private fenced backyard is ideal for grilling on the BBQ and outdoor dining.

A quick walk to downtown Walla Walla.

PET FEE: $100, Two dog maximum. Let us know if you are bringing your dog/s and we'll send instructions on how to pay the PET FEE.

Great location, very clean and well appointed. Our pup loved the fenced back yard and the walk friendly neighborhood. We loved sitting out by the fire pit with a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would definitely stay there again.

Older property, maybe could do with a freshening up outside, but it was perfect for our needs. Close to family and easy walk to everything we wanted to do. Excellent for two couples, one on main with queen room and ensuite and other downstairs with king and a bathroom close by. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely visit with our family in Walla Walla. The location was perfect for an easy walk to downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. The home was cozy and well equiped, and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Plenty of room for 3 couples. Extremely clean, comfortable and beds were cozy with nice linens. We had everything we needed. Location within 5 min walk of downtown Walla Walla. The property manager is very communicative. Great stay.

Very nice

We did a girls weekend. The schoolhouse was located within walking distance to Main Street shops and restaurants. It was very clean and well appointed.

We had a great two-night stay at the Schoolhouse. The house was clean, in walking distance to downtown Walla Walla, and well appointed. It was one of the best vacation rentals at which we have ever stayed. Every little detail was thought of, from fresh coffee beans and grinder, washer and dryer, to plush towels, robes, and slippers, as well as great toiletries and a clean grill. The bedrooms had comfortable mattresses, with two bedrooms having a TV and the couch in the living room was large enough for three people to sit comfortably and it also has an additional chair. We used the internet to stream some movies and it buffered a couple of times but mostly worked fine. We would definitely stay at the Schoolhouse again.

Very Nice House in Walla Walla

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed at this great home while visiting Whitman College in Walla Walla. It was very conveniently located, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. It was our first time in Walla Walla and we enjoyed the restaurants and wine tastings. I would recommend this home if you are in the area.

Great Place to Stay in Walla Walla!

This home is very welcoming. It had spots for us to visit in outdoors and inside. The bathrooms were clean. The beds and bedding so comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect. I liked the table inside the front window. Great to look out at the neighborhood trees and drop all our belonging, when we returned from shopping. Thanks so much for keeping our visit easy and fun!

Brief review

The house was nice, location worked great for us. The only down side was the kitchen wasn’t very well stocked and we weren’t told about cash gratuity for the cleaning staff and none of us had cash on us. We couldn’t save any food we cooked since there was no tuber ware or plastic bags also a Venmo option would be a great additional option for tipping.

What a cute house! It was immaculately clean and decorated in a stylish way. You could walk to downtown from the house to restaurants and tasting rooms. Would for sure stay there again if we’re back to Walla Walla!!

Planned a girls trip to Walla Walla The accommodations were as advertised. Clean and well stocked. Our only complaint was the beds were a bit too firm for our liking, other than that great property.

Central location for wine tasting in the valley

Stayed for two nights recently while we did some tastings in the valley. Great central location and close to downtown dining and tasting rooms. Home was clean and comfortable!

Great location, cute house

We've stayed here before with friends and this stay was also very enjoyable. We love that this house has 3 queen/king beds, rather than a pull out couch or bunkbeds. Walking distance to main st and all it has to offer and vineyards were all just over 10 min drive! We will stay again!

Nice stay in Wine Country

Convenient location. Smaller common rooms, but adequate for us! Location is very walkable to downtown and Whitman. Gotta walk by a number of unkept houses in the neighborhood, but that seems to be the case in all of Walla Walla.

Nice home. Main floor has small but comfortable rooms. Basement rooms are larger. Functional kitchen worked for all meals. Great location - walkable to Downtown and Safeway.

Family friendly

The home was ideal for all ages. My mom stayed in the primary bedroom on the main floor and we were able to stay downstairs with our adult children. The location is ideal if you are visiting Whitman college. It is a short, safe walk to campus. The backyard was fenced for our dogs as well.
