Peaceful rest, with great views!

Love the facilities! wish we could of stayed a few more days to enjoy the property and lake even more! The pics on line do not do it justice as this place is worth checking out and coming back to again! Frank the owner was a very interesting guy who we really enjoyed talking to, next time Frank a beer at the fire pit is in order! We will be back!

Great place for a get away!!

I went to snap dragon with a large group of young adults. Everyone had a great time. We had a fire on the patio and took out the kayaks and canoe. We made a huge pasta dinner for everyone in the large kitchen. People played bocci and I went for a nice long run around the adjacent area. It was beautiful with the leaves turning, A great place to go to spend time with loved ones.

I booked Dragonwood as a place for myself and my bridesmaids to stay leading up to my wedding, and for the rest of the wedding party and out-of-towners to stay at after the wedding. We just thought we booked the only rental near Dover that slept 10 and allowed dogs, but WOW were we pleasantly surprised! This property is beyond stunning. The property management is top notch, and if you're lucky enough to meet the owners on-site you'll find that they are genuinely kind and fascinating people who are eager to share their retreat with visitors.We stayed for five days total and nobody was short of entertainment. From bocce to disc golf, docks and boats, an art studio and numerous gardens and paths to wander, you'll feel immediately at home and at peace here. The Main House is beyond comfortable--all the amenities and comforts you could imagine were ready for you. Not to mention the amazing, eclectic design and decor throughout the home. We loved finding new collections and knick knacks everywhere we turned. I can't thank the Dragonwood team enough for our incredible stay! We hope to return again in the future.

Traveling with Older Adults

My husband and I absolutely loved this location. The view is spectacular and the property is immaculate. I would caution anyone traveling with older adults or very young children, there are a lot of stairs—in the house and down to the water. My father in-law claimed climbing up from the lake to the house was equivalent to climbing the Eiffel Tower. (It’s not, but you get his point.) We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Thank you, Rebecca, it was great hosting you last fall. We have since purchased two golf carts to help assist folks with the walk to and from the water.
