Lake home was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The outside property was perfect. Helen, our host, was very gracious and accommodating. We especially enjoyed being able to get out on the lake with the kayaks and loved our evening fires.

Such a beautiful place and amazing hosts! My wife and I had a great weekend and would recommend this place to anyone! It was very clean and we enjoyed their beautiful fire pit every night! The lake is super clean and gorgeous! Hinton Bay where they are located is perfect with a boat landing right down the road for us to launch the boat we brought :) Their communication was fantastic and were unbelievably accommodating for us!! We can’t wait to visit again :)

Our gals golf /friends group absolutely loved the weekend at your lovely "little slice of heaven". The sunrises were stunning while we enjoyed our coffee looking over the lake checking for loons! We spotted one the morning we left! Time around the fire was so peaceful and relaxing!! We WILL be back again next year! Thank you for sharing your very comfortable Hideaway with us! The Chicklets

We wanted a comfortable waterfront home on a clean lake. That’s exactly what we got! The location is ideal. Communications with the owner were always promptly answered. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

The Hideaway was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. From all the thoughtful little touches to the peaceful atmosphere, everything made our stay feel special. The lake and views were absolutely beautiful, and we loved the quiet mornings and walks in the area. It was close enough to downtown for convenience, yet still felt private and relaxing.Even though the water was a little cold, a few of us still had to jump in and check it out! We came to Hayward for my granddaughter’s graduation, and The Hideaway made the weekend even more memorable. I would definitely love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy the lake.

Couldn’t have asked for a nicer house to stay in! Very well appointed, she thought of e everything! The views can’t be beat! Highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet, very clean, relaxing stay.

The Hideaway

Excellent location on a quiet bay. All the amenities you could ever want from a lake cabin. The host is fantastic and communication was great.

The Hideaway

Great week spent at The Hideaway. Accommodations were exactly as described - very comfortable, cozy and very well maintained and cared for. Great location on the lake and easy to utilize dock with boat. Host had great communication, very responsive, friendly, and made the entire stay easy.

Everything about this place is quality! The property is beautiful with gorgeous lake view and outdoor seating, very comfortable beds and linens, perfectly stocked kitchen, plenty of space for our group to relax! The firepit and smores were a nice treat. Every detail is well thought out. A lovely place, we hope to return!

Great property on round lake

Very clean, well maintained lake home. Great bedroom setup for lots of good nights of rest, with comfortable beds. Easy host to work with - would happily stay here again.

Lovely weekend in the north woods!

Our group had such a good time in The Hideaway! The space was so cozy, the kitchen was super well-equipped, and the hosts were very accommodating. A very fun surprise was the groomed ski trail on the bay! We would definitely book here again.

The Hideway

This property is great! From the check in process to cleanliness to the supplies of the kitchen and the view is amazing! The host is always on point to answer your questions! Overall a wonderful week! Staying next year at the same time!

Hideaway Heaven!

The cabin was lovely - just the right amount of 'north woods' decor. Very clean and well furnished - a home away from home! Kitchen was fully stocked of all essentials making our stay so easy! Loved the labels so we could find things and know where to put things back! Instructions for check-in and check out were straight forward and easy. Loved the location and the dock space for our boat! Cannot wait to come back again!
