When we arrived at our VRBO shortly after the check-in time, we had not yet heard from out host regarding entering the property. After a second phone call, he answered & provided us with door codes for entry. That first night, our oldest daughter (17) saw a mouse peek out in the kitchen & then retreat. I contacted host & he provided mouse traps that we placed around. (No mouse was caught or seen afterwards) The cupboards were stocked, but with old, out of date items, some not sealed or without lids. There were ants that were enjoying a bottle of honey & would make their presence known in the kitchen at different points. As a result, we kept all food items on the dining room table. Parking was a bit tricky at times. There is free street parking, if you can find it. One issue that was not communicated or mentioned was the street sweeping that takes place during the week. There are signs that get attached to trees along the curb indicating when sweeping will be taking place. If your vehicle is not relocated, you get ticketed. The neighborhood seemed pretty lowkey. We did speak with some nice people during our stay & felt safe. It did appear that there was an occupant upstairs, above the property (presumably the host) & a family that resides below. Overall, the rental worked out for us. I do believe that the host needs to do a better job of making sure that pantry's get cleaned out. A/C consists of 3 window units inside the rental. Parking info should also be more specific
