We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-stocked property in a great location. Property manager very responsive and helpful as well. We hope to be back and would not hesitate to rent this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. The home was extremely clean, comfortable and filled with all the necessities for a great week away. The view was amazing and very relaxing. We enjoyed many nights at the fire pit with family and friends. We highly recommend this vacation home to anyone needing a peaceful holiday stay.

The pictures and description do not do justice! The location is stunning, and ample room inside and around the property for the whole family to relax and unwind!The kitchen is FULLY stocked, including plastic plates and cups for our youngest traveller. PLENTY of towels! There were even beach chairs and some firewood that rounded out a complete experience!We would definitely book this location again in the future!

As noted in any other reviews, the property is gorgeous both inside and out. It has been designed to a very high spec with high ceilings and open spaces, perfect to hang out with your family. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and the views from the back deck are fantastic. The location was really nice for exploring essential North Coast, with plenty of beaches and national parks nearby. The more tourist oriented area with lots of restaurants and activities and Cavendish is only about 20 minutes away while at the house it's a small community, very quiet and peaceful. We had a great week there and would definitely come back again.

Long River Beautiful Home

Beautiful property central to many island day trips and close to all amenities. Very clean and well supplied in every detail. Would love to stay here again.

Stunning environment for a family get-together

The property exceeded our expectations. It was well appointed, and we had everything we needed. The beauty of the place, the generous dining table, and outdoor spaces were our favorites.

Great property in a wonderful area

This property was even nicer than it appeared in the listing. The views were phenomenal, there was plenty of space for the family, and the amenities were great. The house was also spotless, which is very important to us. Our teenagers were immediately in a better mood when they walked in the house, which is saying something! The house is also close to great PEI activities, restaurants, and more. Highly recommend.

Vacation 2024

We loved our time at this property. The house was spacious and the views were beautiful. The hot tub was relaxing. We had all we needed. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends and family. It was a 10++

Peaceful, scenic stay

The house was beautiful and comfortable, just like the photos. The hot-tub was a lovely bonus. Every night the sunset was spectacular as were the stars at night. I wouldn’t recommend swimming in front of the house but water front makes for a beautiful view. A car is a must as needed to drive everywhere but easy to navigate and 15 to 20 minutes to beaches, groceries etc. Had a great stay.

What a view!

This family cottage is a gorgeous, relaxing home to plan your PEI escape around. Centrally located near beaches and the lovely town of New London, this property is the perfect place to unwind after a day spent exploring the island. The view is spectacular for morning coffee/evening cocktails and the well appointed kitchen was a pleasure to work in. The hot tub was the perfect place for star gazing and warming up on cool fall nights during our October visit. I would not hesitate to return!

Great family vacation

We enjoyed our week stay very much. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. An electric hand mixer and a couple of large sheet pans would be nice. The beds were comfortable and the air conditiining worked very well. It was a little odd that one of the upstairs bedrooms has no closet, and the bathroom lighting for the 2 non primary baths is not really adequate. The hot tub and the fire pit were fun additions and the overall property is beautiful with truly spectacular views. All in all we had a lovely time and would stay here again.

We are so glad that you would like to come back to this wonderful cottage, and that you noticed the kitchen was very well stocked with high end pans, items and a Vitamix etc. There are lots of sheet pans under stove - sorry you missed seeing them there. Waterfront property

This is a beautiful property. The management company is first rate and responds to problems quickly. Unfortunately we had rain and wind most of the week and had to leave early due to a hurricane. We were reimbursed for our early departure due to the hurricane which was appreciated. The property has wonderful water views and is very spacious. The only negative is the last road down to the house is dirt and not too good in the rain. I would rent this house again .

Absolute GEM!

We absolutely enjoyed a week+ in this stunning home and property, preparing for a family wedding on the island. Situated at the end of a road we were surrounded by total peace and privacy. The home is beautiful & clean. Furniture and beds very comfortable & Kitchen very well stocked, including a Bbq nearby. The open layout easily accommodated 6 adults including the screened in dining room, a personal fav! The grounds are spacious & well maintained including the hot tub and incredible views of the River from expansive decks. Detailed information provided about the home and responses to questions are quick. Great sight seeing and restaurants nearby, don’t miss out on dinner at Sou’West! We Highly recommend staying here and are already talking about returning!!

Simply Stunning

What can I say - peaceful, spacious, clean, fantastic views, beautiful sunsets, and a relaxing hot tub what more can you ask for. This house has it all and Laurie was professional and helpful. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our group and this was the perfect house for us for our vacation. Sitting on the chairs by the water is a great way to start your day with a cup of coffee and end it with a glass of wine!! I'm at a loss to find anything negative. Our only "concern" was there is not a landline phone in the event of an emergency and the cell phone connection is not working. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and would definitely return - if you want to sit on the porch reading or windsail in the river...enjoy!!!

I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay! And as for the phone, the subdivision surprisingly wasn't equipped with telephone service, so a landline is not even possible. I guess i relied on everyone having a cell phone and the service being ok. Many of the guests do have service as this is the first i have heard of no service. I have heard of some guests having spotty service. ..it would depend on your provider. We do have neighbors at the top of the hill in case of emergency, but rest assured, it is something i will look into further now that i have seen this review. :)

The property was perfect for my family of 5. Spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Even the cooking surface on the stove was clean! They had the filters for the coffee maker on site - may seem like a small thing, but we had forgotten when we were at the grocery store. I would suggest that you go to the big grocery stores (about 30 minutes away) and stock up for the week since the only other grocery store nearby is small and has limited stock. AC was super effective - we had some hot days. In fact, the AC in the bathrooms on the first floor are almost too effective :). Planned a bicycling-centered trip, so the only issue was the serious hills (dips) as one approaches the home from all directions (obviously not the fault of the home, but be aware of this if you have people who are not strong cyclists). Make sure to bring lawn games as the lawns are huge and welcoming. Also, my adult children (all in their 20s) loved chatting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking or cycling.

Luxurious home with spectacular views

We had a wonderful time in PEI! The house is exactly as pictured. It is spotlessly clean. Everything was so comfortable. We enjoyed the central air, hot tub, the beautiful bath tub in the master bedroom, comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. We used the canoe and our kayak (we brought the kayak) almost every day. So amazing to just walk down to the water in the yard and go. We used the National park pass to explore, went deep sea fishing (we went to the place on the Bridge next to the Sou’ East restaurant—such great people. We all caught fish (cod) and had a great time, back on land we even got to buy some gorgeous, reasonably priced pottery that the owner makes), we also made a visit to Charlottetown, which we would highly recommend (lots of great restaurants and shops). We also did a lot of biking. On the bikes we visited the Kitchen Witch—such nice folks running that place, bought a beautiful handmade silver necklace from Nancy at her silver studio, and purchased a beautiful print at Tony Diadoti’s art studio. We enjoyed the delicious ice cream at Cows, the girls made their own bathbombs at a great little shop next to the Lost Anchor, who makes delicious Fish and Chips. Our time in PEI was wonderful and the comforts of Laurie”s home made everything so relaxing. Laurie was always very responsive to our needs and quick to respond to any questions we had. She is a very hospitable and kind woman. On our last night we saw the most amazing double rainbow over the house. The island has enchanted us, we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely Fantastic!!!!

The house was amazing! Extremely clean and tidy! Had all the amenities you need to make you feel right at home. The property has a postcard view overlooking the river which can also be seen through the 20 foot high dining room windows! We were travelling with 2 other couple one of which was celebrating their 50 wedding anniversary and our stay here provided the perfect setting! We’ll be back! Rick R
