Perfect week

well equipped traditional apartment, central but quiet in Sivas, nice terrace with beautiful views, but most noteworthy our lovely and kind hosts Maria and Michael

Comfortable flat in a wonderful landscape

It was a wonderful stay. The holiday flat was cosy and stylish and equipped with everything you need. We wanted for nothing and we were able to go on many beautiful excursions and hikes from the town of Sivas. Maria and Michaelis as hosts are very attentive and took care of everything. It was very hard for us to say goodbye and we would love to come back.

Our stay in Sivas,Crete was fantastic. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts. During our entire stay, it was so friendly and informal that we could ask questions or receive tips at any time. The accommodation is excellent, clean, equipped with everything you need and suitable for starting many excursions. Highly recommended!

perfect for a summer holiday

My stay this year in the wonderful and cosy holiday accommodation of Maria & Michalis was already the second and certainly not the last! I spent a week in Crete with friends and you really couldn't ask for a better base for a holiday in the quiet and relaxed south of Crete. The two-storey flat we rented had great facilities and you can make yourself comfortable on two terraces and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. The beautiful village of Sivas, where the accommodation is located, offers everything you need within walking distance, from a small supermarket and pharmacy to numerous tavernas. What's more, the two hosts are really super friendly, help you at any time and give you great tips for excursions in the neighbourhood. We would love to come back next year!

beautiful holiday in crete

Maria and Michalis gave us a warm welcome to the apartment on arrival! The house was cosy and well-equipped. We were there as a group of friends and found the house very suitable for the three of us! There was a nice outdoor area and a terrace that invites you to relax. The village in which the house is located has everything you need for your daily needs - including a minimarket, a pharmacy and some nice tavernas! It is not far to the beautiful Komos Beach and Sivas is also perfect as a starting point for day trips to remote beaches and great gorges in the area. Maria and Michaelis were great hosts! We felt very comfortable overall and will gladly come back again!

Excellent séjour à Sivas. La maison est très agréable, propre et proche de la mer. Nos hôtes Maria et Michailis sont de très charmantes personnes, attentionnées et généreuses comme rarement. C'est très agréable d'être reçu par des gens comme eux.Je recommande vivement !

Malerisches Apartment mit liebevollen Gastgebern

Kleiner Ort mit vielen netten Tavernen in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Sehr fürsorgliche Gastgeber, die uns nicht nur mit wertvollen Ausflugtipps, sondern auch mit frischem Obst, Olivenöl und Raki aus eigener Produktion versorgten.

Schöne Ferienwohnng, mit herzlichen Vermietern

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Vermieter haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit guten Ratschlägen und Tips versorgt. Es war rundherum ein wunderschöner Urlaub und wir können die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Ein wundervoller Urlaub in familiärer Atmosphäre

Maria und Michalis, unsere Vermieter, wohnen in der Anlage, waren jederzeit erreichbar und waren fürsorglich für uns da. Die Anlage ist super gepflegt, der Gartenbereich eine Augenweide. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und in geh weite sind Einkaufmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf, sowie gute Tavernen. Sivas liegt verkehrsgünstig für Ausflüge zum Wandern in die Berge oder an einen Strand. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefüllt in den zwei Wochen. Nicht umsonst sind in den wenigen anderen Wohneinheiten der Anlage überwiegend Stammgäste aus Deutschland, die gerne immer wieder kommen.

Traumhafter Urlaub im Süden Kretas

Wir dürften 16 wundervolle Tage in Sivas, einem kleinen Ort im Süden Kretas, verbringen. Unsere Gastgeber waren ungemein freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Ferienhaus liegt im Zentrum von Sivas in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse und hat einen sehr gepflegten Innenhof den wir nutzen konnten. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich die Küche, ein Essplatz und zwei Sofas sowie ein Fernseher, den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben und ein WC. Über eine Treppe erreicht man das Obergeschoss. Hier finden sich zwei Einzelbetten und ein Ausgang zum Balkon. Dieser Bereich hat einen großen Deckenventilator. Angrenzend ist ein kleines Bad mit Dusche und ein weiteres vollwertiges Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett. Hier gibt es zusätzlich zu einem Deckenventilator auch eine Klimaanlage sowie einen weiteren Ausgang zum Balkon. In nur 2 min. ist man am Dorfplatz der einige gute Restaurants, wir waren bei Sofia, zu bieten hat. Auch gibt es einen Minimarkt und eine Metzgerei sowie einen Keramikshop der viele schöne Stücke anbietet. Mit dem Leihwagen ist die Umgebung leicht zu erkunden. Matala als Touristenort am Meer ist schön, der Strand Komos ist für Schwimmer sehr zu empfehlen. Auch der Foodtruck der dort steht ist Klasse. Faistos als antike Ausgrabungsstätte ist nicht weit, und in Mires gibt es alles was man braucht. Die gesamte Anlage umfasst das von uns gemietete Ferienhaus sowie vier weitere Studios. Ich dürfte Sie in Augenschein nehmen und würde auch diese Unterkünfte mit Nachdruck weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Sivas en août 2018 dans une location très agréable , bien équipée , située idéalement dans un village typiquement crétois de la Messara . Bon accueil et conseil de Maria et Michalis qui connaissent parfaitement la Crète . Une bonne adresse donc ...

Glorious, authentic Cretan experience!

I have traveled to Crete for many years now, and out of all the places i have stayed Horiatiko Spiti is by far the best. Here you can enjoy a secluded and comfortable location only a one minute walk from the lovely town square of Sivas. The facilities are top notch with a cozy interior design, and the colorful and lush garden is a wonderful place to relax in the sun or enjoy a cold glass of Retzina in evening. However, the number one perk of this guest house is interacting with the lovely couple who run the place. Maria and Michalis will provide you with all the service you need, and they are an absolute joy to spend time with. Both natives of Crete, they will provide you with all the information and knowledge you need for getting the most out of your holiday. If you wish to experience Crete in a comfortable, traditional fashion, Horiatiko Spiti is the place for you!

I will always come back to Horiatiko Spiti

"I have traveled in Creta for many years and stayed in many nice places, but Horiatiko Spiti in the beautiful village Sivas is by far my most favorite place. I have come back here every year for the last 10years. The hosts Maria and Michalis greets every guest with warm friendliness that makes you feel welcome and at home. To wake up to the sounds of the village and step out in their beautiful garden in the morning is for me the best way to start my days in Crete. The studios and apartment are very comfortable and very clean - you can enjoy the garden with orange trees, herbs and beautiful flowers. All studios have private sitting area. Sivas is in a perfect area to enjoy several beautiful beaches,hiking in the mountains and explore breathtaking gorges. I always stay in the large apartment with my family it also have its own private terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains and village. I will always come back to Horiatico Spiti Elisabet Norway

Mein 6. Aufenthalt bei Maria & Michaelis - und keineswegs der letzte. Egal welches der angenehm schlicht und komfortablen Studios/Appartments man bucht: die Gastfreundschaft in Horiatiko Spiti ist und bleibt so freundlich wie professionell, so herzlich wie wohltuend. Ort, Lage, Ausstattung, Umgebung - top.

Eine herrliche Zeit

Als absolute Kretafans darf seit mehreren Jahren ein Aufenthalt bei Maria und Michalis auf keinen Fall fehlen! Auch in diesem Jahr verbrachten wir in diesem wunderschönen, sehr geräumigen, bestens ausgestatteten Appartment eine herrliche Zeit! Schon beim Frühstück im wundervoll begrünten Innenhof wünscht man sich die Uhr würde etwas langsamer ticken. Unübertroffen ist die herzliche , unaufdringliche Gastfreundschaft von Maria und Michalis , die sich liebevoll um ihre Gäste kümmern ! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen😊.
