Enjoy our place at the edge of the redwood forest. One of the best places to relax and enjoy a quiet stay or to get busy with all of the attractions Crescent City and the surround area has to offer. Jedediah Smith National Redwoods for walking and hiking,, Smith River to swim, fish or kayak, visit the ocean and the local harbor where one can book day tours or just enjoy Saturday's farmers market. For the less ambitious, short walks on our non-fenced property might be more your style.

This is a beautiful one bedroom guest house on a stunning property. The hosts were charming, so helpful and respectful. We loved the geese and chickens who greeted us and joined us while we sat in the beautiful backyard and gazed at massive redwoods. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this property.

Spending time at this amazingly beautiful guest house was something we will always remember! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay the best time EVER!!! Loved everything about the property, the amenities and the experience of having Redwoods in our backyard and dining outside on their beautiful deck!

Ana and Gerhard are the best hosts you could ask for! The apartment was beautiful, clean, comfortable and stocked with exactly what we needed! They gave us great advice about the area and where to explore. This is definitely a must stay if you are visiting Jedediah Smith and surrounding areas!

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The location was truly majestic, with towering redwoods practically in the backyard. It was the perfect setting to disconnect, relax, and enjoy the incredible beauty and serenity of nature.The owners were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The small rental was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. You can tell that a lot of care and attention went into making the space feel inviting and homey.If you’re looking for a peaceful, serene, and beautiful getaway surrounded by nature, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return!

The hosts were absolutely incredible. If I had to rate them id give them a 12/10. Wonderful home, wonderful people. Clean. Cared for, and beautiful. Well stock, and everything youd need to make your trip a success. Close to the city. Yet far enough away you cant hear any city noise. Beautlful redwoods surround the property, and make it a serene redwoods hideout.

Perfect location for hiking in Jedidiah Smith state park. Ana and Gearhard’s home and property is lovely!The guest cottage is clean, orderly and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure and the bed was so nice.

Beautiful property with a private guest house in the Redwood State Park area. The hosts were available if needed but gave us privacy. The guest house had everything we needed to enjoy our visit to the Redwood Parks. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Red Wood Forest Hideout

We really enjoyed our stay at the secluded and quiet guest house surrounded by large red wood trees. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating. This was a great base for exploring the Red Wood Forest parks.
