The Pirate's Cove sits high on a bluff and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Tomales Bay and Bodega Bay. Watch the deer roam the neighborhood and the hawks soar. This is the perfect house for large family gatherings. The kitchen and dining area are very expansive and can handle large parties. You can enjoy incredible sunsets from the kitchen or the dining room table. The sun room is a fantastic place to relax and read a book or bring out the board games and enjoy the views. This home has views of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, dining room, sun room and master bedroom. The back yard is fenced with a BBQ, patio area, picnic area and stainless steel sinks. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home has something for everyone in the family. There is an abundance of wildlife at Dillon Beach. Just a 1 minute drive to the beach or a short walk down the hill.
The Dillon Beach general store is close for your shopping needs. The Dillon Beach Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to venture out you can travel to Pt. Reyes and get Oysters from the world famous oyster farmers in Marshall known as Hog Island Oyster Co. or Tomales Bay Oysters. Nick's Cove, is just a 5 minute drive from Dillon Beach and has been featured on Travel and in Sunset Magazine.

Girls trip!!!

Been to this house before and they really did a nice job with the upgrade of furniture. The place is spacious with plenty stuff to cook with, sleep with and have a great game night. Definitely been ok’ing again in the summer time.

Yearly trip

This house was perfect for our large family and it was fully stocked with everything! The yard was huge and perfect for a bbq, the views were amazing and the crisp air was delightful. The only thing that will keep me from renting again is the furniture was very uncomfortable, boards under the couch made it hard to sit and the other couch you fall in it. The beds were so old and hard. If they updated the furniture it would make it so much better.

Great dog-friendly large home at Dillon Beach

With two full baths, 3 bedrooms, views of the ocean and a fully enclosed yard, this home is very comfortable for a large group with dogs. The beds are quite comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, gadgets, appliances, etc. We also used the BBQ in the yard; plenty of space there for corn hole! It is, however, necessary to drive down to the beach, as this home is at the top of the hill overlooking the ocean; beautiful views!

Family reunion

We enjoyed a mini reunion at this home, which was very neat inside with enough rooms to accommodate us, the kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The outdoor space could use a little love.

Fun at Pirates Cove

This house is perfect for large family gatherings that include small children and pets. The house was very clean and well stocked! There is ample space for gathering and the decor and furniture are durable and not fragile which is a relief with small children. We felt completely comfortable there and even the small kids want to come back. A huge plus is the fenced in yard where you can set up outdoor games and not worry if kids or pets are going to run off. The owner was SO considerate, responsive and helpful. We felt well taken care of !

Perfect for a casual family holiday!

We were looking for a place where family members from central and Northern California could gather to celebrate the holidays - fro grandchildren to grandparents (us). The kids loved the solarium and the adults loved the open kitchen. All love the beach - a drive away. perfect for our visits!

Dillon Beach family getaway!

We had a wonderful time eating, playing board games, spending time at the beach with 70 degree weather, and a fun trip to Lawson’s Landing. Pirate’s Cove is the perfect place for a family gathering, our Golden Girl Alice had a fun time at the beach with some four legged, furry friends. Lots of laughs and good memories had. Thank you Shiela for the great communication and for the hospitality!

Large beach house

Nice accommodations with view of the ocean. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of wildlife roaming around. The house is up the hill so driving down to Dillon beach is recommended. If you're up for a challenge walking is doable. We would rent again for a large gathering. The host was great to deal with and answered all questions quickly.

Plenty of Paradise Found

Very roomy house, owner was quick to respond about unavailable hot tub. Was disappointed about no hot tub, and we couldn’t figure out getting Netflix on, but we weren’t going to let it bother our stay!

Comfortable and Clean Getaway House

Pirate's Cove is located on a bluff above the Pacific and has ocean views when the fog isn't in. The house was clean and in decent repair. The kitchen was clean and extremely well-equipped for a rental house--there's everything you could need to prepare delicious meals. Everything was working, and there were no unhappy surprises in this house. There were games, movies, and music CDs if you prefer to cocoon at the house. There isn't much happening at Dillon Beach other than a long, wide, and easily-accessible beach, but it is convenient to Bodega Bay, Point Reyes, restaurants, and wineries. The owner responds quickly to messages.

Room for all!

This house was as listed! There was plenty of room for our large family to visit or have “alone” time. Plenty of towels and bedding. House was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and serve large family meals. Communication was excellent with host. Hope to return soon!

This house worked well for us. We hope to come back again. The kitchen has much of what you need for your stay. The master bath and bedroom is very roomy. The views of the ocean make the day along with the wildlife seen from the windows.

My family has vacationed at Dillon Beach for the last 40 years and we love it. My father loved the salmon and halibut fishing, my husband the golf, my son the beach and I love the relaxing atmosphere Dillon Beach provided.

We purchased this home in Dillon Beach because we love the tranquility and peacefulness that we experience when we are there. There is an abundance of wildlife around to view from the house including deer that roam the neighborhood. You can relax when you want, but you are still close to the big city. You can take day trips to Napa Valley, Sonoma, and the Russian River. We are close to Petaluma, Bodega Bay, Marshall, Occidental, Sebastapol, Jenner, Point Reyes, Tomales Bay, Marin, Guerveville, and the Muir Woods.

Dillon Beach has a great beach that is still pet friendly. You can enjoy the miles of sandy beaches or explore the tide pools and rock cliffs. We are 60 miles north of San Francisco and 45 minutes from the Wine Country. There is great fishing, surfing, beach combing, boogie boarding, clamming, crabing, hiking, biking, whale watching and golfing available.
