Beautiful property! I wish the weather had been warmer for us to enjoy the pool (though the cooler weather was advantageous for visiting JT National Park).One suggestion: stocking coffee for guests would be a real plus. Especially for guests arriving late!

Really couldn't ask for more. This property has everything my family needed and more. The hosts really put thought into every aspect of this rental to make it feel like a home. The cactus garden in the front is spectacular, the pool and hot tub were extremely clean as was the rest of the property. We will definitely plan a future stay to this amazing place!

Place was absolutely stunning and clean.Check in was super easy. They had plenty of board games to entertain, and a record player as well. Will definitely come back again!

This property worked great for visiting Joshua Tree. The large master was super comfortable and extra roomy so nice for suitcases/traveling.The backyard has a great view of the sunrise.

This house is ideally located to visit Joshua Tree NP, and to get to restaurants and other spots in close-by towns. It is in great shape, well-stocked and comfy. Host communications were great!

This was a delightful stay in a very comfortable, clean abode! Everything you need was provided. The host was tremendously helpful and communicative. I would recommend to anyone who is exploring the very close by Joshua Tree Park.

The stargazing retreat is exactly what we needed to celebrate a milestone birthday with two dear friends. It was spacious, clean, very private and quiet. Doreen was extremely responsive the two times we needed to be in touch. I would highly recommend her as a host and the stargazing retreat, a place to stay.

This house is amazing. The pool, the hot tub, the location is beyond any potential improvement or comment I might have. Floating in the pool at night you felt like you were in space, you could see every star so clearlyDoree was beyond amazing as a host. Evidently it couldn’t book for the night I wanted to so she gave me a discount and it worked out phenomenally. I have yet to see a host to be more responsive and accommodating especially one attached to such a wonderful property. Thank you so much Doree and we will certainly be back.

We just spent 3 nights at La Bandita and had a wonderful time. The house is clean, well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and the large enclosed backyard was just right for our dog to enjoy, sunset watching, and stargazing. The pool and hot tub are clean but the weather was too cold and windy for swimming this time which gives us a reason to return. The neighborhood is quiet but close to town and the host is very welcoming and responsive although everything was just right and we didn’t need anything. Can’t wait to return to La Bandita.

Wonderful stay at the boundary of Joshua Tree

The property lies slightly elevated so you have a view of the valley. Especially the lights at night are beautiful. It’s quiet and relaxing.

Very accommodating hosts, and I highly recommend this VRBO. The pool, the Jacuzzi, and the fire pit, and the amazing Desert wildlife is just an experience that you have to have. The xeriscaping is exquisite, and beautifully complements the surrounding desert, terrain, as well as the property itself. Highly recommended!!!!

Pleasant and relaxed

We had a great time here, everything was clean and comfy and the communication with the owner was easy and nice. She also recommended a great little hike (Friendly Hill) close to the house which we enjoyed a lot! We also had fun watching the rabits in the front yard. Thank you for this pleasant stay!

We've stayed in many vacation houses before and this one has been our favorite. The house is light and bright and full of personality. We visited in April, and the desert garden was beautifully in bloom. Rabbits, ravens, and hummingbirds flitted through. The pool was too cold to use (outdoor temps were 70, with wind sometimes) but the hot tub was just right. I loved reading the recipe books on the swinging chairs outside and my kids loved the hammocks. The beds were comfy, and the neighborhood so quiet that I got some of the best sleep of my life. I can't recommend this place enough!

Christmas at Joshua Tree

Beautiful property! The pictures are accurate. Stylish and comfortable! The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. We hiked Joshua Tree several days and came back each day to the hot tub to relax under the stars. Dessert was s’mores at the fire pit. The house provided a picture perfect vacation.

Perfect getaway

We spent Christmas in Doree’s home, it was the best. The bed are so comfortable the kitchen had everything you need the backyard is amazing with beautiful views! We hope to come back in the warmer season to enjoy the pool. There was always good Communication with Doree! Thank you for everything

Best Experience Ever

My friends and I booked this rental property and had the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We had been wanting to go to Jtree for a couple of months never finding the right house. This house is minutes away from the park's back entrance, its spacious, it has a hot tub and a fire it to enjoy stargazing. I even jumped in the pool and swam for a little bit. It was also super clean and the host, Dory was very communicative. I will definitely be coming back !
