We are situated between the mountains & Caribbean Sea, embrace the beauty of the El Yunque Rainforest in Naguabo, PR. Formally Hacienda Moyano, we have 4 acres of palm trees, 28 fruits growing wildly, and walking paths throughout. A crystal clear inground pool and gazebos make outdoor life comfortable. Take a trip to sandy beaches, or sip on Rum and watch the sunset. Rest well in our large renovated studios with bathroom, AC, and kitchenette. Each room has a big porch with breathtaking views.

Unplug, relax, and enjoy all the tranquility paradise has to offer. We do not have WiFi available. There is cell coverage here with the majority of carriers.

Parking is free and right in front of our Lodge. The property is enclosed and gated.

Grocery stores and gas stations are 5 mins away. Beaches are 10 mins away. There are many amazing restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

* Occasionally there are power outages in Puerto Rico, it is part of life here. Each room is equipped with battery powered lantern in case of an outage. We do have generators and will start them if needed (Because of the inflation of gas prices, if the power goes out in the middle of the night, they will not be turned on until the morning).

* You will be IN the Rainforest staying here - there are bugs. Our rooms are meticulously cleaned yet occasionally bugs find their way in.

* There are no laundry facilities available on site but there is a drop off and self serve laundry nearby called "Wash and Post". feel free to reach out for information on this.

* Please take care of your trash and dishes. Please do not break coconuts or sit on the kitchen counters in your room or the community kitchen.

* We do not offer stays over 2 weeks. (no monthly stays)

About Us:
I give my guests space but am available when needed. My husband and I run a wellness and retreat center here in Puerto Rico. We love to rent out our property for seasons throughout the year for people to take a vacation. We live on the grounds and are available for whatever needs you might have.

Leaving dirty dishes or food out attracts bugs, roaches, and spiders. Dishes in your room and at the community kitchen must be washed a put away.

The septic systems in PR cannot handle toilet paper or any paper products (including tampons) We provide a trash receptacle for waste in the bathroom.

Quiet, relaxing retreat in the heart of the rainforest. The host sent over clear check-in instructions prior to our arrival and also sent over dinner options since we were arriving later in the day. The retreat was far enough from town that you could relax and immerse yourself in nature but also close enough that you could enjoy a day at the beach and the local culture within 10-20 minutes. 10/10 recommend and will be staying here on our next trip.

Amazing Stay in the Rainforest

We had a great stay. Property was very clean and the pool is amazing. Tonya, the owner, was responsive to all of our questions. Air conditioning worked great, which is needed in the humid rainforest. My kids enjoyed the meal we cooked in the community kitchen. Great spot!

Heaven!

I can’t even put into words how amazing this place is. Tonya was great to work with - sent very detailed information and was quick to respond. The grounds are absolutely beautiful to walk around, room was clean and spacious, the outdoor kitchen was perfect - well stocked with pots, pans, etc. We went to the store about 10 minutes away and just grilled the whole time. The pool was huge, the view incredible, I didn’t want to leave! We are already planning our next trip back. Thank you so much Tonya, this was the highlight of our trip!

Tropical Rainforest

Wow, what a great location! Super clean, very good beds, amazing view, huge pool...and everything is in the rain forest - the sound of nature, especially at night is incredible. It's really as good as the description and the photos! We will be back!!!

Breathtaking views of the rain forest!

Just book it! It is absolutely incredible! I can’t begin to explain how amazing this vrbo is! We came with our 3 teenagers. The property has a path to explore the natural beauty of fruit trees, a stream and then sit in the gazebo to enjoy morning coffee. Pool is huge! The family kitchen we cooked in, played games on the large kitchen table, enjoyed the fresh picked bananas and just took in the tranquility all around us. In the morning open your balcony french doors to take in the fresh air and sit on the patio to look out into the rainforest. Close to beaches, rain forest, boardwalks. Host is quick to respond to any questions and very welcoming. Loved the coffee and snacks that awaited us when we arrived. Rooms clean and spacious. Thank you Tonya for the incredible stay!

Magical nature escape!!

I can’t say enough about the beauty of the location and the thoughtful accommodations! The sounds of the forest, the views, the huge room and comfortable beds! Hosts and staff took the time to talk to us and were exceptionally courteous. The nights of sleeping there with the windows open, listening to the sounds of the forest and an occasionally rain is something that can’t be put to words, very hard to leave.., thank you!

Gorgeous lodge in the jungle

This property is so quaint and clean. Despite its relatively remote location we went to dinner, beaches and hiked to a waterfall all within 15 minutes. The estate is so peaceful and the room was simple and clean, and we enjoyed our time here very much.

THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT!! ❤️❤️❤️

Where do I even begin? It was the best stay we have experienced in PR. Tonya is as absolutely helpful from day one. The place was perfectly clean and comfortable. We had perfect amount of relaxation and fun! We had beautiful meals in the outside kitchen and our daughter spent plenty of time in their HUGE pool! I could go on and on! We have not stopped talking about how nice the place was and we will definitely be back next year! Perfect ratings from us!

Beautiful Property in Picturesque Location

We absolutely loved this property. The instructions and communication from the host were spot on. The room was clean and comfortable. The best feature was the rainforest views from all around the property. We saw so much wildlife and felt like we were tucked away from the world. Would definitely go back again!

We loved our stay!

We stayed here in Dec 2022. We had a six day trip to Puerto Rico, 2 days in San Juan, 2 days here and 2 days by the beach. Staying here on the edge of the rainforest was definitely our highlight. The property is amazing, we got to see the bananas growing and had some freshly picked passion fruit. We enjoyed cooking in the outdoor kitchen. This stay felt off the beaten track a bit and would definitely recommend it. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay!

Loved the location in the rain forest. Extremely relaxing surrounded by nature. Tanya was very helpful with ideas for hikes and other activities and was there if needed. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to return soon!

Lovely and lush retreat

My husband and I, both in our mid-sixties, enjoyed a fabulous two-night stay at this amazing place. We loved the location in the rainforest and enjoyed all the wonderful amenities on the property. I cannot think of anything to improve on this amazing place, our stay was perfect and Tonya was an excellent host. We loved the view, basket of goodies and drinks, use of the kitchen, the huge swimming pool, and the use of beach chairs. I highly recommend this VRBO. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Exploring E PR/Great hosts

This property is accurately described and photographed. It is also known as The Kineo Center. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The host a very well organized property Our room, #6, was very clean, beds comfortable with nice sheets. Mini fridge and microwave in room were very handy. Hot water for showering, plush towels. There is a welcome basket of water, local coffee, and snacks to greet you in the room. Outside seating overlooking the pool and hillside was a great spot for morning coffee. Our favorite spot for a glass of wine was the screened gazebo next to the small river. So peaceful and lush. Beach chairs, towels and umbrella are in the room for your use. There is a COMMON use open kitchen. This arrangement sounded a bit awkward at first but we loved it! Sign up for a 2hr window. There are common staples for use in a pantry and fridge. Anything special of your own is kept in a sealed container labeled with your room number. Nice table and chairs for dining in the open air under a roof, while listening to the coquis and a Puerto Rican Owl! We explored the coastal natural areas and from this central location. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Jungle vibes

This studio was clean with easy access. Parking right in front of the unit. A welcome snack basket awaited us along filtered water. A nicely put together booklet outlining rules and area info with recommendations. The water pressure was great. Nice grounds to explore. Large community pool and outdoor kitchen area. The coqui are LOUD as your in the rainforet this is expected, after closing doors and windows and turning on the AC it was drown out. We really had a lovely stay here. They do a nice job on this property. I would stay again.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in Naguabo

Tonya's property on the outskirts of El Yunque is tranquil and beautiful. It was perfect for our family. We booked three rooms and were the only guests on the property during our stay which made it extra special. The rooms were newly remodeled, with nice linens and seating areas. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We cooked both nights and enjoyed the sound of coquis and birds. The grounds are gorgeous and you can see the care that Tonya and her family are putting into the property!

Surpassed expectations!

WOW. The pictures do not do justice. Such beautiful views off deck… outstanding room. The pool was perfect between our little adventures to relax for the kids. Breakfast in the outdoor kitchen. The owners left a great list in their guest book that we used to check out local bakeries, swimming holes, beaches and restaurants. It was such an incredible place to spend the week. Owners were available to ask any questions , but left us alone enough to make it feel like our home away from home. This was such an amazing option outside of the resort life of San Juan with amazing driving views. We rented a car and we’re grateful for that. Close to airport and less then 30 min from all activities and sites. Chefs kiss guys ✌️

Gorgeous Rainforest Retreat

Tonya was an accommodating host and helpful resource for our trip. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and so appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket of coffee, water and snacks to sustain us on our hikes and very early morning flight home. The grounds are beautiful and we loved having the river all to ourselves. I’m a very light sleeper but had no problems falling asleep to the amazing sound of the coqui frogs at night.

Beautiful, off the beaten path

5 night pre-wedding stay with my future spouse. It was just what we wanted/needed before meeting up with our family for the BIG day on the other side of the island. The accommodations were clean, cute, supplied everything we needed. In-room coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave in kitchen area and amazing outdoor grilling/eating area with fantastic view. Short but nice "rainforest walk" leading to a picturesque, rocky stream. Refreshing and large pool and sunning area (Beaches are 10-20 minute drive away, not bad). But best of all was the walk out veranda through the room french doors overlooking the rain forest. We spent a whole day just louning around the room and property enjoying the sun, sounds, beauty and peacefulness. There was 1 other couple who were also there during our stay but we felt like we were the only ones. It was absolutely AMAZING! If you are looking for some serenity in your hectic life, look no further. Contact Tonya!

It's a stunning setting, overlooking the rain forest! The room was large and clean and it had a big balcony. The pool and communal kitchen area were really nice. Everything about this property was fantastic.
