Sleeps up to 4 with king bed in the bedroom, twin beds, wide plank flooring, new appliances and close to everything in Popponesset.

Barefoot walk in just seconds to private sandy ocean beach. Short walk to Popponesset Marketplace, home of the famous Raw Bar with its awesome lobster rolls, free weekend concerts, shops, mini golf, general store and clothing stores. Walk to the Popponesset Inn for waterfront dining.

Short drive to upscale shopping at Mashpee Commons .... or just sit, relax and take in the views!

Beautiful Retreat

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and charming. The Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and linens were abundant. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the proximity to restaurants and other amenities. Communication with the host was very good. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful and Well Appointed Cottage

Access was easy and the cottage was as advertised. Ocean views are there from a few of the windows but not while sitting on the patio. Great appliances and bathrooms. Super clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately our weather was not great but we still had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Beachside Escape

This home was clean and spacious for a stand alone cottage in Maushop. Excellent ocean views; 200 steps from private beach - kids loved counting the short walk there, as well as biking to the market place for ice cream (or and adult walk to the bar). Wonderful for families, cples or friends . The property manager was easy to reach and very kind. We look forward to staying again nx yr.

Perfect Cape vacation

We will be back. The cottage couldn’t be in a better location. Steps to the private beach which made it easy for our young family. Included all the beach chairs and umbrellas we needed. Beautiful community with lots to do. Interior was very modern and had everything our family needed. Host was very responsive. Looking forward to returning in 2024

The best rental in Maushop Village

We’ve been to Maushop Village for 5 years in a row…this is our absolute favorite house that we’ve stayed in. All the appliances and finishes are top notch, there’s reliable air conditioning throughout the cottage. The location is THE BEST….just across a small street to the beach. And the cottage “just feels wonderful”, and it’s just a perfect size for a family of three or four. Maushop village is a wonderful, safe, beautiful, quiet community right on the ocean…it’s just a dream vacation…especially in a quaint, beautiful, comfortable cottage like this one.

Thanksgiving in Mashpee

The property manager can make or break the experience. We had problems with internet connection and host didn't seem to want to deal with it. Simply said, "there's internet". If you need to do work from this location, you may have a problem. And no TV due to connection issue

Classic cape cod cottage and the ocean - perfect

We’ve been visiting Maushop and the cape for over 30 years, staying at rental homes and hotels. This cottage was the best we’ve ever had the pleasure of relaxing at. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and the kitchen w/ wine fridge was a wonderful place to cook with friends.. We didn’t want to leave, but we’ll definitely return. Weather in March too cool to enjoy the outdoor amenities but just hearing the waves and walking the beach was the perfect tonic to help get over a tough year. Positive you’ll love it too!!

Relaxing Two Weeks

We took a nice relaxing stay to tour Cape Cod with my wife. Cottage was nice and very suitable for a mid-aged couple. Clean, tidy and comfortably appointed. Some unfortunate appliance issues were dealt with by the owner in the second week, but he did offer an alternative solution we didn't use, so kudos anyway. The small community around the cottage was a bit smaller and more limited than we like, the only walkable restaurant/bar choices were not great, so we tended to eat out during our day trips and mostly ate dinner back in at the cottage. We also thought we had an unrestricted view of the sea, surprised to find another row of cottages in front of us, our misunderstanding, perhaps could have been clearer in the description. Anyway all-in-all, a genuinely nice break and a recommended cottage for an older couple and near to a walkable beach.
