Weekend in the Poconos

This is a very nice house that could use some routine maintenance and upkeep in order to achieve 5 star standards. The dishwasher would not work. The outdoor table and chairs were too dirty to use. The grill had to be cleaned before using. The a/c’s in two of the bedrooms kept going off. Although the property manager was in contact, none of the issues were resolved during the stay and he did not come there to help. The pool was a great feature and the size of the house was very comfortable for a large family.

Amazing home

Leslie’s home was the perfect space for my family and I. Everything was just as we expected upon arrival. The space was huge and spacious enough for us all. Leslie was a great host and was always available if we needed to reach her. Leslie also provided enough information as well as any necessities in the home that we may have needed. We truly enjoyed our time and would most definitely recommend this home to anyone who is interested!

Quiet Poconos Get Away

The property is hidden away amongst the trees and has all the accommodations for a perfect weekend getaway. The pool was perfectly clean and refreshing for hot summer days. The pools deck had great furniture for lounging and relaxing as well. The fire pit was a wonderful night time activities and there is plenty of space for other lawn/yard games. The house also had a great grill and outdoor seating area. The inside was spotless and with 5 bedrooms, a loft space and pulls outs everyone can feel comfortable in their own space. My family and I will definitely be staying again!!

Great house with lots of flexibility!

4 friends and I stayed at Leslie's cabin for 4 nights to celebrate our 60th Birthdays. The cabin was great. It has a well-equipped kitchen. Fridge, Stove, Dishwasher all worked flawlessly. The tv was nice and big. Pool table was fun. Foosball table went unused but looked great. The 5 bedrooms were all nice, of varying sizes. The Primary bedroom over the kitchen is huge and very nice with a shower with 2 showerheads facing each other - newly renovated. The pool is lovely! The dining table seats eight easily and was a nice place to play board games. The location was great as well. 1/2 hour to the west is Jim Thorpe and the river for whitewater rafting, tubing, etc.. A half hour to the north and west is Camelback for mountain recreation like zip line and mountain coaster. And right near there is the Mount Airy Lodge Casino where we went one night.Overall, this is a really nice house that I highly recommend.

Family Thanksgiving Reunion

My family (7 adults and 3 kids) really enjoyed our stay at Leslie's property in Kunkletown. The inside of the house was clean and comfortable and the property was stocked with tons of fun games and activities to keep the whole family entertained! The newly renovated kitchen was big enough for several of us to work together to prepare our thanksgiving feast, and the dining room was furnished with a beautiful wooden table and comfortable chairs. All of the kitchen appliances worked great. And, the five bedrooms and three bathrooms provided the perfect amount of space for our family. Plus, there were two couches (one upstairs and another downstairs) that could be used to accommodate larger groups. My parents were very comfortable in the large and newly renovated master suite upstairs, and my wife and I were happy in the larger of the two downstairs bedrooms. The other three bedrooms (two upstairs and one downstairs) were smaller, but also comfortable with the exception of the mattress in the second downstairs bedroom which was a little too firm for my sister and brother-in-law. As far as activities, the adults really enjoyed using the pool table and our kids loved the mini air hockey game. And, there were loads of other games and toys stored in the living room cabinet. Plus, we all enjoyed playing basketball by the shed outside and making smores in the fire pit. Also, Leslie was very responsive to all of our questions, and checking in and checking out was super easy! If you are looking for a fun getaway with family or friends, I would definitely recommend this house!

RENTERS BEWARE!This property was a disaster from day one. AC didn’t work on arrival; owner was slow to respond. We had to reset breakers many times. Dishwasher was MOLDY, yard overgrown, and the front door had no knob/lock—had to prop it shut overnight. Back door lock to pool was broken. Upstairs shower leaked to laundry room, and by day two, both upstairs bathrooms were clogged. Handyman showed up late, did patchwork fixes. Only working bathroom was downstairs. Plumber came day 3, unclogged toilets, and said the issue was the toilet paper—provided by the owner. Shower continued to leak from drain according to plumber he would tell owner, no repair while there. Found mouse droppings, pool nearly overflowed after company left hose in. Locks on outside of porches felt unsafe. Outdated furniture, poor cleanliness, and lack of maintenance. Shocked this place had 10/10 reviews—last one was from 2023. Absolutely not the vacation we expected! We never found that nice pond with waterfall from the VRBO website pic! One positive comment check out was really easy!

Great overall

Leslie was a great host. We booked a last minute trip with family and friends. Leslie was able to host and accommodate our needs. The house is spacious & equipped to host any size group. The master bedroom is a chef’s kiss. The pool & outdoor space was great. We truly enjoyed our stay & would visit again.

Lovely stay in Kunkletown

We spent 4 lovely days celebrating our daughter’s wedding in the comfort of this spacious home. The outdoor areas are wonderful with the pool, several places to eat and fire pits, kitchen is awesome and well stocked with cooking gear galore. The bedrooms are smallish but fine. The only request we had was for a closet as we had a lot of formal clothing, but I imagine we are an anomaly and most people visiting do not bring formal clothing! Thank you for making our wedding weekend such a wonderful experience!

Perfect Family Get Away

Beautiful house-great location-peaceful and quiet. Great pool.Close to grocery, etc. Only problems were no propane in any of 3 available tanks and ran out of firewood by end of the week for the firepit. But all in all a wonderful place to escape and slow down and just relax.

Bachelorette weekend

My sisters bachelorette was a success thanks to this amazing property! There was plenty of space to accommodate all the girls in our party, and the house was lovely. I would definitely recommend this property rental to a group of friends, or a family looking for a perfect poconos getaway!

Yearly Friends vacation

The house was perfect for us. The firepit by the pool was the perfect spot at night. The area in the front had more than enough room room for our adult vs kids soccer game. The added touch of bathroom toiletries was a pleasant surprise. Check in and check out could not have been easier. Thank you Leslie

First ski trip

Rented this house to take my 3yr old daughter skiing and snow tubing at blue mountain. The house was great. Spacious and had a lots of games and things to do. We were able to bring our 2dogs and had friends come up for a night. Our friends were also impressed by the property. Would love to go back in the summer to take full advantage of the outdoor amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

This house is wonderful, we have a lot of fun there, it has many entertainments, like fire pit, basketball court, and a big fenced yard which my dog really enjoyed, and the most important is that Leslie is really friendly and helpful! Really commended if you want to have an escape trip with your familly and friends

Pool is open from June To End Of September

In the Summer and Spring you can spend your days at the pool, relaxing on the deck outside in the front or the back of the house. You can even sit around the fire pit with the magical fairy lights and the hammock around it
enjoying your morning coffee or evening BBQ.
Spend your days outside, playing basketball or soccer and enjoying time with your family.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, new stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, pots, pans, dishes, utensils and much more.

About the Area :
The house is located 10-30 minutes from the four main ski areas like Camelback, Shawnee, Blue Mountain, and Jack Frost, offering several service activities such as skiing and snow tubing:

1. The house is 12 minutes from Blue mountain resort where you can also snow tube with your family or snowboard/ski.

2. The property is 20-25 minutes from camelback ski mountain which also have indoor water park for the cooler days .

3. The house is 30 -35 minutes from Kalahari water park and Jack Frost ski resort.

So many activities can be found within a 20-30 minute drive: hiking, cycling, rafting, horse riding, paintball, canoeing, snow tube and much more.
It is truly a place for everyone to enjoy.

In the winter you can enjoy the fireplace in the house, sit and relax in the living room, watching movies on Netflix and getting cozy with your friends and family.
