Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Inside a gated community, right next to a peaceful creek, this 1-bedroom/1 bath has everything you need for a long-term stay or a quick night getaway. A full kitchen, pullout couch, digital fireplace and laundry facilities make our Creekside Cottage a perfect getaway. This private guesthouse is ready for you! We take pride in making you feel like home away from home. Separate entrance with shared driveway parking so you can come and go as you please with extensive cleaning protocols.

We are proud of our updated getaway space. Perfect for those looking for some tranquility with easy access to the DFW Metroplex, wedding and sports venues. Easy access to multiple interstates.

What we don’t have is great cell coverage depending on your carrier. You may experience spotty service in our neighborhood and throughout Midlothian. There is WiFi access with Firesticks on all TVs for movie channels with limited streaming.

We live on-site with our family and dogs so you may see us in our daily routines which means we are as friendly as you want us to be! We are here for you and hope you enjoy our space as much as we do. If there is anything we can do to make your stay special or more enjoyable please tell us!

This is my second time staying at this property because I enjoyed it so much the first time. The communication is great, it’s well stocked, it’s very conveniently located with great things around. It’s really comfortable and very cute, I will always stay there when I need to be in the area.

5/5 – Perfect Midlothian Getaway! Our stay at this cottage was absolutely wonderful! The place was exactly as described and incredibly clean. For a one-bedroom, it felt extremely spacious and comfortable. The hosts were fantastic—super easy to communicate with and highly accommodating throughout our stay. We also loved all the thoughtful extras, especially the fully stocked coffee and tea station. So wonderful to not have to run out in the morning looking for coffee. We highly recommend this cottage and would definitely stay here again!

As I related to Jill and family, probably the nicest VRBO that I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was spot on, from check-in to check out and everything in between. It’s very evident that Jill and family have taken the time to place themselves as travelers, insuring that everything is taken care of, down to the finest details. A truly enjoyable stay and I will definitely strive to stay there the next time then I’m in town to visit family.

Jill was an excellent host. She left detailed instructions about everything from checking in to checking out. She texted us within an an hour to make sure we found everything satisfactory and if we needed anything. Very comfortable and quiet place that I would highly recommend.

Everything was clean and lovely. I was looking for an uninterrupted quiet time of reflection, and that was exactly what I found. Everything I might possibly need plus more. Parking was easy, right outside the gate in front of the cottage. Jill was quite welcoming and attentive to what I might need. I would definitely stay here again.

Jill is a Marketing Executive and Brian is a Special Education teacher. Together we are raising our busy family inside the mainhouse on property. We love our guests but give them space but are always available when needed! You may be greeted by our 2 dogs on site, Ellie and Dexi. We love to meet our guests but we respect your privacy. We are available if you need anything from toothpaste and kitchen supplies to a friendly smile.

We love this property and have had multiple friends and family stay since we moved in in 2018. We decided to share it with everyone in fall of 2021 after a renovation and we hope you are as happy as we are with it!
