This 5 bedroom home sleeps 16 people and has beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Offering privacy, this spacious home is located just minutes outside of the The Adirondack Park and is nestled on the edge of 40 acres of forest, which contain several walking trails and scenic views. Located just 10 minutes from Plattsburgh, this property is conveniently situated in the middle of Burlington VT, Lake Placid NY and Montreal Quebec. These are all located within about an hours drive. Whiteface Mountain and Titus Mountain ski resorts and just about 45 minutes away, and Lake Champlain is just about a 10 minute drive. This home would be perfect for family reunions and gathering.

Matts home was perfect for our reunion, comfortable bedrooms for everyone and large gathering spaces for our group.Matt is a great host and always responded immediately when we had questions.We’re already planning a return visit next year!

The property was great. We had lots of space for our family reunion of 13 people. The kitchen was wonderful. The kids loved the play structure and seeing deer in the evenings. We would definitely go back.

Good Golly, Miss Molly! Can’t stop at a 5 star rating. May I suggest a 9?! Love this place.I needed to accommodate 9 people and this did it in . It also was easily able to let me host an unplanned “family reunion” spanning several days of potluck meals and places various in size for people to group. There are amenities for humans at all ages and stages in life at this property. I am a little conflicted about saying it like I see it because I would very much like to stay again and if you only knew there might not be any availability to return!!!With a little tweaking, this could easily become very feasible as a wedding venue or to host small gatherings.For those of you who are familiar with the movie, “The Big Chill”, there is a morning breakfast montage where many guests come and go. Jeff Goldblum is the last and thinks he is the first. I don’t understand the acoustics of this home because four young people can be in the lower level kicking up a racket and be quite unheard on the main level, so I was able to enjoy the same experience.Leaf Peepers and winter enthusiasts and those who like to stay in a home that is comfortable and unique, this should be on your list when considering a visit to the North Country!

We always enjoy our Thanksgiving vacation at Matt’s rental. It’s so warm & roomy that everyone has their space. The game room with the hot tub, foosball table and exercise room are great. The addition of a video arcade was very exciting for the children. Everything is clean and orderly.

Rented this so the entire family could stay together in one place for my sister’s wedding. It was perfect! 7 minutes from the venue, 15 min from Ausable chasm & other great hikes.

It was a perfect choice for its location and size. Hopefully they will replace some screen doors and clean up the decks soon.

Guys weekend trip

This property was perfect for us! Amazing location, and so much space which allowed us to feel really comfortable. Hot tub and sauna were just fantastic. Highly recommend!

We have rented this home before and always have a terrific time. We had 13 staying there and there was plenty of room. So homey and comfortable. It has gorgeous views. It was a special experience for our Thanksgiving !!

This property was great, spacious and well stocked with everything needed for cooking, bedding, towels. We had a large group of 18 so we loved that there was plenty of room and things to do. The large lawn and fire pit were great for outdoor games and smores in the evening. It was great to have 4 bathrooms and laundry on site. Lots to do nearby. We visited Ausable chasm and Ausable Point State Park (beautiful beach) and took the ferry to the Vermont Islands. We had a wonderful trip and our host was very helpful throughout the week!

Family Christmas

This property was very suitable for our group of eight. It was very clean and well appointed with many comfortable places to gather. It was easy to prepare and serve meals. Our group appreciated the hot tub, pellet stove, beautiful location, and tasteful holiday decorations. We enjoyed our stay.
