Welcome to Sun Retreat, your private desert getaway with beautiful mountain views and incredible stargazing. The main house offers its own entrance and fenced yard. Located next to BLM land, perfect for outdoor adventures.

This is a multi-unit property with a separate casita on-site. Each unit has its own entrance and private yard and no indoor and outdoor spaces are shared. The casita may be occupied during your stay.

Fully licensed short-term rental. Permit # STR-26-7. Guests will have full access to the main house, including its private entrance and fully fenced yard.

Please note the property includes a separate casita (guesthouse), which has its own entrance and outdoor space and is not accessible to main house guests. There are no shared indoor and outdoor areas.

It was the most beautiful and comfortable home my family and I stayed at. Clean rooms, bathrooms and living room was very pretty. Just waking up for breakfast and getting that good sun through the windows was the best! The host is very kind and it was an amazing experience. Perfect spot for future visits, we will come back to this lovely home!

This was a very spaces house that was less than 15 minutes from all the amenities you could ask for.

Loved this property

This property was excellent! The house was clean, spacious, quiet and welcoming. The beds were super comfy, too! We would absolutely stay here again.

Host was very efficient in responding to messages. The house was conveniently located to Death Valley NP. Though it was clean, the house was not well kept, showing its age. The inside decor felt like it never left the 60s and 70s.

Tranquil Desert Stay

Peaceful easy feelings at this family-friendly property. Easy check in process, clean and spacious, with plenty of room for our family. Great views of nearby mountains and no noise other than the wind, wildlife and the occasional moo or neigh from neighboring livestock.

Perfect location

This location is perfect for the outdoor adventures we planned! It was very clean and relaxing after a day of hiking. The host was quick to reply to questions and was very polite!!

Great stay

Our stay at “Cindy’s house” was just perfect. Spacious and clean, it was a great jumping off spot for our Death Valley NP exploration. Thanks especially for the coffee! I sure needed a cup after a day exploring!

Excellent Family Home

We had the opportunity to stay at this property while visiting family and we loved it! It was spacious indoor, clean, well maintained, easily accessible, safe and just perfect for my family.There was also a large fenced in outdoor area where we felt safe allowing for play. I highly recommend this place in the Pahrump area!

Great spot to visit Death Valley

We enjoyed our stay here. This is a nice, clean 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a fenced property. We visited Death Valley and the area, about1:15 minute drive. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and there's a nice grocery story (Smith's) about 15m away.

Thank you for the use of your very roomy, comfortable house. We unknowingly erred on our reservation date and arrived a year early! However, Leon was very accommodating and quickly found us a suitable substitute! The mattresses and bedding were great, and the water pressure in the showers was wonderful. We appreciate this host’s quick response and his availability when needed.

Perfect for what we needed

Leon was a great host. We're low maintenance so just needed a place to sleep and shower. Leon answered all questions quickly and let my crew get the rest they were at the house for.

Home base for Death Valley explorations

The house was lovely and comfortable, and cool even at the end of June during a heat wave. There was plenty of room for our multi-generational family to spread out and join together, and we highly recommend the bagel shop in town for breakfast! Great communication from the property manager/owner.

Great stay!

House was very clean and well equipped. Kitchen and bath had everything we needed plus extras Communication with owner was quick and easy. We had our 2 dogs with us and the large fenced property was great for them. Bed was comfy and although we didnt need them there were tons of extra blankets too. Area was quiet and just a little off the regular path but not too far from shopping.

This place was great just one thing was that restaurants were very far away. But if you're willing to cook this place had everything you needed. And I mean everything. Ovens microwave and stove.

Came for 4th of July fireworks, stayed for the stomach flu

Very nice property, we were fortunate to have such accommodations. Apparently there was a stomach flu going around town that we all came down with. We spent the majority of our stay in bed. Clear communication with the host, they were very kind and accommodating. Thankfully, we had a spacious and clean rental to get over our illness while away from home. The kitchen was our favorite part, lots of space and gadgets for cooking. We have close friends in Pahrump so we will return, hopefully under better conditions. Would happily reserve this rental again.
