This is a 1600 square foot home nestled in the forest 4 miles up Burke Canyon from Wallace Idaho. It is located one mile from the famous Frisco Mine. 10 minutes from skiing at Lookout Pass or Silver Mountain
10.minutes to the Hiawatha Bike Trail and 3 miles to the Centennial,Biking trailhead

There are 5 bedrooms.One queen , two full and four twin beds.Place can sleep 10 people

The kitchen ,living room/ dining area ,bathroom and laundry have recently been remodelled/updated.
Located in a private area which is so close to so many amenities for outdoor activity any season.
So peaceful for reading and enjoying beverages on the porch listening to the creek.
History and so many community events happen in this family oriented town of physical beauty

The Gem

My family and I stayed in this home after a ski trip to lookout pass. It was absolutely adorable! The kitchen had everything you could need. The rooms are all decorated uniquely. It is cozy, and has a covered porch.We loved staying here with plenty of room for everyone. The owner Jules was also wonderful and very informative on local rrstraunts and things to do.room for everyone.

A Quiet Getaway

We had a great time in this tucked away place. It had plenty of space and room for all of us, and Julie was available for any questions or needs. A great spot!

Thanksgiving

We had a absolute wonderful time staying here for our Thanksgiving weekend. Ended up with a larger group then expected but had plenty of room to spread out and visit with each other. Played lots of card n dice games just had a relaxing time. Also enjoyed driving by the ghost town of Burke and hit all the little shops in Wallace for fun Christmas gifts!

We struck gold in silver country with this charming place just outside of Wallace. Kiddos loved the llama room and we will definitely be back soon!

Fun and charming home.

We loved our stay. House was clean and decorated so cute with each room a different theme. The house brings out the child in you, reminded me of my grandmas house. My 19 year old turned into an 8 year old and slept/played in the llama room. The host Jeremy shared information with us on trails to ride a fun lake to go to. We go to Wallace 2 times a year. Overall the best trip to Wallace yet!

Fun Place in Wallace

We enjoyed staying here. This is a well-stocked home and has a lot of fun history about the town. The hosts are so welcoming and ready to help with anything if needed.

Wallace and Hiawatha Trail

Very nice stay near the Hiawatha trail. Super clean home with a lot of pride in ownership and appropriate and friendly communication. My husband and two wiener dogs Tami and Peanut loved it. We even plugged into a cool silver mine tour in town. Very nice unexpected bonus.

Cozy cottage 5 minutes from Wallace

We had a wonderful stay here at the Gem House. Great communication from the owner prior to and during our stay (Jules is so friendly and gave us great suggestions for our visit!) The home was easy to find and is only a 5 minute drive up the road from Wallace proper. The sound of the creek right below the road is lovely. The home was very clean and orderly inside. Full of all the supplies you'd need for your stay. Each room had a cute theme to it and had beautiful artwork everywhere. We felt comfortable and right at home here. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The Gem in Gem

We had a great stay, listing was all it said it would be and lots of supplies. Jules was a great host. Parking is limited multiple cars would be very difficult.

Clean, Cozy and Great Communication

Host was very flexible and helpful throughout booking and our stay. Home is very clean with lots of unique touches. We had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be back during future ski and mountain bike adventures.

Great place with 5 bedrooms

3 generations of one family found that this house was a really fun place to stay. With careful coordination having only 1 bathroom worked out well. This place is fully equipped. The owner is great, really great to work with. We recommend this place!

Lots of Room

We got tne best rest. Bea is super kind and thoughtful. Lots of room and cozy places to hang out. Close to Wallace, which has some cool places to hang out. Grocery store in town too.

Perfect for what we needed it

It’s perfect for what we needed it for. I wish the listing mentioned that it was like a guest house in between two other homes with limited parking but it worked.
