Breathtaking, unobstructed, close (80FT) view to the Pacific Ocean and nearby beach. You can hear the ocean roar at night. No roof tops to look at (compare and see our competition). On a 8th floor. Built and purchased in 2009, fully remodeled in 2023, efficient floor plan. Quality materials and furnishings including fine painting collection of local artists. Perfect NE sun orientation, warm in winter, cool in summer.
Located in Recreo which is a safe and picturesque hilly residential neighborhood short walking distance to the beach, bread stores, pizza places, pharmacies, small grocery stores, several coffee shops, bakeries, and other small fresh fish, vegetable & fruit stands as well as a few small restaurants.
Great Location: Not crowded like Viña central's district by the Marina Arauco Mall where traffic could be horrid. You could take a 15 minute walk to street Valparaíso where you'll find plenty shopping, coffee shops, parks and plazas and parks like La Quinta Vergara.

Use cheap UBER or similar or their “'colectivos'' which are shared taxi cabs, really cheap transportation. The property is located in between two Metro stations you can walk to, and visit Valparaiso or go to the interior. There are 20 Metro stations from 'Estación Puerto' to Estación Limache', about 30 miles ride. Come ready to walk and use your rented car to travel outside the area. Parking is expensive and not too available. The swimming beach of Caleta Abarca is also really close, 5 to 10 minute walk. You can take a bike ride down the hill connecting with a paved ocean side bike trail coming from Valparaiso all the way to Vina del Mar and Reñaca.

Very well appointed and spacious apartment with great views overlooking the bay. Quiet building with 24/7 concierge on duty. Underground parking provided was a must in this neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked with every imaginable pot, pan, glass and dish. Appliances were all high quality and in good working order. Beds, linens and towels were high quality and plentiful. Enclosed balcony with nice furniture was an added plus. Did not use pool or other available amenities. Also appreciated was Angela, the local property manager who met us on arrival and ensured an easy transition into the unit.

Our host Francisco quickly accommodated any request we had regarding our stay, and made great recommendations for local restaurants. All that and the place offered stunning views of the Pacific in a luxurious setting. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view, nice neighborhood

If you’re thinking about staying in Vina del Mar for New Year’s this is the place to be. The large windows and glassed-in balcony have a perfect view of kilometers of waterfront along which massive fireworks celebrations occur.The apartment itself is clean and compact, with everything one needs for a stay of a week or more. We felt safe in the neighborhood and there is a doorman 24 hours (although they didn’t challenge us, even when they hadn’t seen us before). There are several minimarts, bakeries, and restaurants within a few blocks. A beach is nearby, but there is a large road directly in front of the apartment’s building that makes getting to the beach a bit more complicated (e.g., crossing that big road with little kids would not be fun!). The noise from the road also meant that we kept most windows shut most of the time, but it was not otherwise bothersome. The property manager was kind and helpful and made everything easy.We would certainly stay here again.

Excellent stay excellent view

This was the perfect family getaway over New Year’s Eve! The location was great with easy access to the beach, coffee shops and minimarts and great views of the fireworks. The place was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Host was communicative and gave recommendations and even was able to get an extra parking spot for us in the garage. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful condo with ocean view in Viña Del Mar

The condo was beautiful, clean, and modern. The ocean view from the condo was gorgeous! We liked the area - it is peaceful, safe, walkable, and conveniently located. Francisco was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay!

Elegant Apartment with a Beautiful Ocean View

We had an amazing weeklong stay in this gorgeous apartment with a spectacular ocean view. Everything was beautifully furnished and recently renovated. It had all of the essentials we needed for a very comfortable and welcoming stay. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming and the check-in & check-out process was extremely efficient. Any questions we had was answered very quickly and we appreciated all of the care Francisco and his staff provided to us throughout our visit. You will not be disappointed with this fantastic apartment and very walkable neighborhood. We hope to return very soon.

Fabulous apartment, location and hosts

This was a wonderful place to stay in Vina Del Mar. The hosts were extremely helpful and accessible and helped make our stay comfortable and fun. The apartment was extremely clean and well set up. It is compact but well laid out and very comfortable. The view is fabulous. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to be back!

Lovely apartment

The apartment felt like someone's home, fully equipped, it even had screwdrivers in case someone needed one. We used it as a Basecamp so we didn't explore the neighborhood (which seems residential) We used a car to get around. Thank you for letting us use your home!

Beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment with an incredible view. Very well equipped and with quality furniture. Exceptionally clean. Angela was always available if we had questions. We spent 6 weeks and cooked a lot. The area is residential and there are some little shops (bakery, groceries, hairdressers), downtown is a long walk away but it is easy and cheap to go around with Uber. The highway is noisy, and can be an issue for some at night in the main room but not in the other two rooms. For us the view compensates for the inconvenience. The small pool is nice for the sunny days. We enjoyed very much our stay.

We enjoyed everything about our stay in this gorgeous apartment: spotlessly clean, safe and secure, walking distance to shopping and excellent public transportation, quiet neighborhood, unbeatable view, furnished beautifully and equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. An unbeatable view doesn't even describe watching the nightly sunsets from the balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Unforgettable!

Great stay - well located, very well appointed apartment with an astounding view

Angela is a wonderful host - welcoming and extremely organized. She has literally thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay and ensured it is available. The apartment is exactly as advertised - clean, well stocked, comfortable and stylishly furnished. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to bakeries, cafes and the like. Buses, colectivos, trams and taxis to Vina del Mar and Valparaiso are also within an easy walk. Finally, the view from the enclosed balcony is amazing!!!

Wonderful three days in Vina del mar

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. The views were breath taking and it was centrally located with many spots near enough to walk to. It was a joy to come home to every day. I highly recommend it.

Stunning views and great light

We had a lovely stay in Vina del Mar at Francisco and Jan's apartment. Everything was as expected, and the views and light are outrageous. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and perfectly situated by the ocean and for excursions into Valparaiso, by light rail, bus or taxi. We had the opportunity to meet Francisco and Jan in person, and they gave us good neighborhood information and were very responsive. We enjoyed exploring Vina and Valpo, but it was hard to peel ourselves away from the endless views. Thank you to Francisco and Jan for a great experience.

Wonderful place!

There were four adults in our party and this apartment was perfect. We realize how lucky we were to stay at this apartment. It was warm and inviting from the first step in the door. First you are greeted by Angela, the housekeeper, who shows you around the apartment. Fresh flowers and fruit greeted us on the table. The view is spectacular. The accommodations wonderful. The apartment is clean and very well maintained. It has all the amenities of home and then some. There is a washer and dryer which came in very handy. The beds are very comfortable and we slept very well. The sunsets over the ocean are spectacular. The building is secured and the staff at the desk were always pleasant and friendly. We took the Metro which is located close to the apartment and took Ubers easily around town. You will not be disappointed if you reserve this apartment.

We purchased this unit for my family of 6. We travel to Chile at least once a year and my wife and I sometimes 2 times a year. Staying with relatives is wonderful but not very comfortable. We included all the conveniences of a well-equipped home in the US, that typically are not included in Chilean vacation rentals. Believe me!! We like summers and also winters in Chile, really any season is great near the ocean. This property is located close to everything and well connected to high-speed highways, subway and public transportation of all sorts. We like to have access to the city and the many beaches plus a majestic truly unobstructed, first in line view to the Pacific Ocean. We like the good food and wines of Chile and its gorgeous landscape plus skiing in winter, you have to check it out. Various ski resorts are close enough for a days trip, get up early and be at the hill by 9 AM (2.5 hours trip). Viña del Mar is one of Chile's most fashionable beach resorts and a great place to take a vacation if you want to go to the beach and relax. The town was founded in 1874 as a weekend retreat and garden residence for the wealthy elite from Valparaíso and Santiago, and it has remained a top beach destination for Santiaguinos ever since. Most simply call the city 'Viña' The sight of Viña del Mar's attractive homes, manicured lawns, and golden beaches dotted with colorful surfboards is something of a contrast to the ramshackle streets of Valparaíso. There are plenty of fine beaches here. Viña del Mar is a busy place in summer but with many FUN and diverse activities, close to Santiago, the capital for a day trip.
