This cozy 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home offers the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience. Nestled in the woods, you will feel like you`ve been transported to your own private refuge, but still enjoy easy access to all the amenities of Pittsburgh. The home has 2 king beds providing comfortable sleeping arrangements. The house is located just .4 miles from the steepest street in the US and just 10 minutes from Heinz Field and downtown. No chore list checkout!

The drive in is a little crazy. The roads are very steep in this part of the Burgh but if you can handle that and you like to feel remote but still be close to things, this is your house for sure!

The hot tub was well kept and stayed at a good temperature. The backyard is very serene. Overall we really appreciated the place. It's amazing how quickly we could get to our destinations in the city. Thank you so much for the stay.

Great family getaway

We were looking for a place for our family to get away for the weekend, explore Pittsburgh, and have fun and this place was perfect! Enough room for all of us but a cozy spot to hang out together! The hot tub was a huge bonus that we enjoyed even in 20 degree weather!

Peaceful and Relaxing

Great way to ring in a quiet New Year. Place was exactly as described and pictured in listing. Clean and bedding/towels luxurious. Hosts were proactive with all information. Bed so comfy and hot tub was a great add. Would stay again in future.

Clean home, central location

Very easy to communicate with. The roads up to the house are steep, but well-marked and well-lit. The house is old, but has been updated with amenities and everything was very clean.

As listed

Nice house, out of the way but just a few miles from the city. Homeowners were very quick to respond to questions/concerns. Would definitely consider this property again when visiting Pittsburgh.

Adequate house on a dead end street. Immediately adjacent to a vacant house and abandoned cars. Nightly animals emptying trash cans that we had to clean up in the morning. Issues with regard to the inability to use the hot tub because of pest control problem. Still was charged 125 extra although never used (‘could not cancel’). They did drop bug spray off and asked us to take care of the ant problem ourselves but too late to utilize patio and hot tub during rental. Communication with landlord frequent but unsatisfactory.

They reached out to book a longer stay. When the stay was almost over they said there were ants OUTSIDE the house on the patio and it made the hot tub uncomfortable we dropped off ant spray in less than 2 hours and made an appointment with our regular pest service. When we did not refund the hot tub fee they left a bad review. ** We did meet our pest control company there and found no ant invasion. We asked the guest for photos so we could have proof of the ants and refund the fee and they sent a couple pictures with a couple ants... outside...

Driving to this rental has you feeling like what did I do! Then you open up the door & see how well the owners did on the rentovations. 💯 Very cozy, quiet & located on the dead end of the road with plenty of wildlife around. Honestly access into Pittsburgh wasn’t bad but be ready for some crazy roads & steep roads. We Loved it!!

Hey! My name is Sarah, and I would love to host you at one of our amazing properties! I am a resident of the neighborhood and just a few short blocks away with my Labradoodle wolfhound Copper! We love this city and are always happy to share it with new people! On the weekends you will usually find us around the Mount Washington area, either walking one of the many hiking trails in the Mount or just up Grandview Avenue (best view of the Burgh). My family is from Pittsburgh, but I have always loved to travel. I moved to Nashville and toured the country singing with my band. It was amazing, but all good things come to an end so I got my business degree. I lived in Australia for a while too! This world has so many amazing places to go - I still have a very VERY long list. Even with all of that, my heart is still here in Pittsburgh, so this where I started my business and now call home. Thanks for taking some more time to check the place and my profile!
