We loved our time here! It was quiet and beautiful. We appreciated the access to the lake and proximity to town for anything we needed. Billie was an excellent host and so kind to share her space with us!

This was a remarkable find. Unique, charming and affordable. The hostess was very welcoming and willing to make our stay amazing. We highly recommend this property and will be staying again.

Perfect spot to relax

We loved the quiet setting and the beauty all around. The cabin was cozy and perfectly clean and the outdoor shower was a treat rather than an inconvenience. We felt very comfortable with the hosts, they were friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive to our quiet get away. I couldn’t be any happier with our choice to stay.

Pristine pastoral property

In the beautiful Selle Valley 45 minutes from Sandpoint. Horse properties abound. Charming cabin and front porch for star gazing or watching the adjoining field. Bring hotdogs and s'mores! And be forewarned that the outside potty is a short walk away at the edge of a dark woods. Oooh!!!! We loved it.

Wonderful and quiet with beautiful scenery. Loved the dogs, horses, and chickens. Outdoor shower was a fun experience….maybe wear sandals though. Had a friendly slug pay me a visit. Feels a little funny between the toes. Everything was clean and organized and mostly everything you would need was there. Don’t forget to bring seasoning for your food tho. They have the basics but if you want fancy then bring your own. We did have neighbours but we honestly hardly knew they were there. Can’t wait to come back.

Rustic Family Fun

A bumpy pothile filled ride getting to cabin was a bit unexpected for a city slicker like me, but upon arrival, the cabin itself was exactly what I expected - rustic, small but charming, perfect for a long weekend famiky get away. It got a little tight in there with our family of 5 when we were all trying to get ski clothes on, but the covered deck gave us another option for a changing room. The master bed was great and the bunk beds for kids as well as loft with bed provided just the right amount of sleeping space. The property is secluded, and stars were dazzling on the 2 clear nights we were fortunate to experience. Great value place to stay, unique and definitely recommend to others.

Great rustic getaway

The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the gorgeous snow covered rural views. It was like something out of a winter wonderland fairytale! The inside of the listing was just as stunning as the views outside. The tasteful rustic decor was perfectly in keeping with the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the space. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Throughout my stay, the host was incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. It was clear that they truly cared about making sure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend Billie’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. The gorgeous snow covered rural views, tasteful rustic decor, and responsive host made for an absolutely wonderful experience.

Take pictures when you leave!

I’m a travel agent and found the location to be pretty, but pricy for sharing the amenities with other guests on the property. We had a 4 night stay here. Immediately on arrival she told us that the rules changed, and our two kids can no longer use the hot tub that we booked our stay for. Our dog, who was leashed, was barking at her unleashed dogs, trying to get into our car while we were unpacking. She said that dogs don’t need to be on leash but were required to say this on the vrbo site. We used our own cleaning products we purchased to clean up as well as purchasing our own wasp trap and fly swatter. She was very accusatory after our stay, but luckily we had pictures to defend ourselves. Make sure you take pictures when you leave, because you will be blamed for everything.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Billie was very nice, welcoming, and kept up communication. The cabin was as pictured. Small,clean, rustic, comfortable, remote quiet. It was peaceful to sit on the porch to enjoy the quiet and amazing views of mountain and lake. I'd 10/10 recommend staying here, and would book again.I have a few critiques, but please don't let it stop you from staying here. The property is advertised as lakefront. Pictures make it seem like you walk over the hill and the water is just yards from the cabin. It's not, there is a dropoff and road between the cabin and water. You actually have to walk down the driveway, cross the road to get to the public water access, a cement dock and boat launch. The private beach access is 60 feet or so down the road. It turned out fine, but not what I was expecting, so that was a bit disappointing. The other thing that wasn't clear is the distance of the outhouse/outdoor shower/hot tub from the cabin. Pictures don't give a good idea of where everything is located, so you have no idea before booking. I never did see where the hottub was located, as I didnt go looking since I didnt feel comfortable roaming around the property.The only thing I'd change is having specific details in the listing about the distance between the cabin and everything else, and the false expectation of a convenient, private waterfront access. It's still charming and very enjoyable.

Completely Awesome!

1st Time "glamping" with the kids was amazing, our host Billie was so nice, and the property is close to Sandpoint which was fantastic. The cabin was a perfect base for us to sleep and the outside shower worked great. The area is so beautiful, this is just a great setup, private and quiet with awesome sunsets on your porch each night. Highly recommended to stay here.

Family Summer Vacation

Enjoyed the outdoors on this beautiful property. The host was very accommodating. My three young boys loved their friendly horses, our nightly campfires and sleeping in the cozy cabin. We are already planning for next summer.
