Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage, .5 miles from the beach. Our cottage has recently been remodeled with all new furnishings. We offer complimentary cold water, hot coffee plus a light breakfast which includes ingredients to make waffles or hot oatmeal. Wine is available for purchase. Our keyless entry and brightly lit patio provides safety when coming in after dark. Full laundry services available. Also, new outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ for grilling outside! We have bikes!

Great Stay & Cute House!

The house was so cute and a perfect size for our little family! It’s in a perfect location to Pleasure Pier, East Beach, local delicious restaurants, and more! All neighbors friendly and we felt very at home! Being originally from New Orleans, it had the vibe we love with a fun, calming beachy twist! I’d definitely recommend the Lavender House or any of their properties! Hosts are attentive, kind, and always available to help! Definitely book with them!

Cute cottage

This was a nice place to stay while visiting with family and friends who live in Galveston. Easy to get to places I wanted to go. They had thoughtful touches which were appreciated.

BEYOND EXCELLENT HOSTING

Hosts were extremely kind, quick to respond & gracious. Home was super tidy and clean. Home was also provided with lots of amenities.

Cute as a button!

My husband, myself and 14 yr old grandson at the Lavender house. It looked just like the pictures on vrbo. The colors of the outside and the cute little front porch were great. The beds were comfy and the rooms inviting. My grandson loved the fact we could venmo a pizza for him! All in all it was a great place to stay. I would book again. Orlando and Kally thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Cute but not safe

My friend and I planned a little girls trip away from Houston. We came Friday evening and went out. Came back to the house around 1am and had a man across the street staring at us. He left and came back. We did not feel safe as 2 women by ourselves since this guy was coming from the house across from the backyard. We felt this guy was not watching for good reason. With that we left that night due to safety. Don’t bother telling the host if you feel unsafe as it’s specified in the notes of an “urban” area or whatever. We come from Houston it’s just as cultured. With that, would not stay or come back again.

Perfect!

It was my sister and brother’s first time to experience Galveston Mardi Gras and I wanted to stay someplace close, this place was perfect! It had every amenity that we needed and more! The owners go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. I will definitely book with them again. Thank you!!

Great stay!

House is super cute and clean. Check in was easy. Pet friendly! Only suggestion is maybe include the backyard is shared in case other homes have dogs too. Our dogs are friendly but don’t like being startled by other animals. Host was super quick to respond on communication.

Cute and cozy

We booked this cute cottage for our stay before our cruise. It was just blocks away from the port and was really neat to see the ships in the morning. Everything was perfect and clean. Just a word of advice—if you book during high school football season, be prepared to hear the game and if you leave losing your parking spot. We left to go eat and when we returned our spot was taken, we drove around Galveston for about 30 minutes before the space was freed up. Wasn’t a big deal at all just wanted to prepare others.

Vacay 2023

Enjoyed our stay. Cottage was clean, and tidy. Had an issue with ants but not a real problem. Neighbors were all very kind. Every person that we interacted with in Galveston was very polite.

Get-a-way

My parents decided to take a weekend to visit the island and attend a concert at The Grand. Mom loved the colors and decorations. Especially the fact they could bring their dog. It was just great for what they needed. Easy access and close to a lot of things they wanted to do. The park nearby was a bonus. We’ll definitely keep this house saved. Highly recommend.

Quant little house perfect for the weekend

Our stay way perfect. The only comment i have is for kitchen storage space, we only stayed for 2 nights so it wasnt bad, but we had to get creative with storing chips and other snacks. Everything else was perfect. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond. The first aid kit even came in handy on our last night. We loved how organized everything was and it made it super easy to find anything you needed.

We loved this property. Just a 10 minute walk to Pleasure Pier and the beach. Close to lots of good restaurants. I was exactly what we needed, and more! Extremely happy!

Absolutely wonderful!

We had an amazing time visiting Galveston! We only really used the house to sleep, but the beds were so comfy and the blankets and when you set the right temperature in the room we slept like babies. I don't know why someone would leave a negative review about the neighbors, they didn't bother us at all! It was quiet for most of the time!

Fantastic little house

We stayed for 2 nights prior to our cruise. Super clean and so very cute! Everything you need is included. Comfortable beds - which are so hard to find. Nice patio area outside. Great place to stay. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was great minus neighborhood.

The owners of the property are so nice and super attentive to any questions you have. The house came with a lot of complimentary snacks and options to purchase wine. It was very close to the strand and beach HOWEVER... location/neighborhood was a little worrisome. The neighbors across the street party all day and night and were throwing stuff at our fence and mocking us. We decided to leave a night early. Not at all the owners fault. They were great and the house was cute.

Cute house close to lots to do!

The location is perfect because it is close to the strand and a short drive to the seawall for the beach. The house is just like the pictures, clean and well stocked. The hosts are very communicative and have taken the time to leave a binder with important reminders and info. There was a lot of thoughtfulness and organization. An added touch was the snacks and drinks that you could purchase. We didn’t have to take advantage of it, but it would be great if you forget anything for convenience. There is complimentary coffee and condiments and cooking oil. I was so happy because I had brought everything for breakfast and forgot these. The shared fenced backyard was wonderful for anyone with a dog. Our dog loved to be able to have some room to play. We enjoyed the sitting area outside to have coffee. The beach chairs they provided came in handy when we decided the weather was nice enough to go to the beach for a few hours. We didn’t get a chance to ride the bikes:( but the hosts made sure to fill the tires for us. The washer/dryer was also a perk!! Parking was easy this time of year, we parked in front. Walgreens was really close by to pick up anything else you might need like sunscreen. The only challenge we had was getting the temperature right. Between the space heaters, main living area ductless unit, and our bedroom window AC unit, once we figured them out by trial and error, we were more comfortable. They all worked fine. I moved the space heater to the kitchen area in the brisk mornings because the bathroom either is warm or cold. My only feedback is to 1) invest in replacing the mini blinds with the 2in faux wood blinds. Several were not operational or had broken panels, esp. the one in the kitchen that looks into the next house over & back bedroom for privacy purposes. 2) Wall units in bedroom with heat (safer than space heaters in case someone forgets to turn off & consistency in temp with auto option). 3) longer shower curtain or lower bar to prevent water splash on the floor. Also, maybe mount a fan on the wall in the bathroom, especially during hot months to help with moisture, but also to help cool it off. You can find online at Walmart or Amazon and they can be mounted on wall and plugged in, some have remotes. 4) Swap out really smelly soaps, lotions, and room freshener sprays to have a broader appeal. I cannot handle any of these things. I get instantly sick with horrific migraines. It’s better to not have or have fragrance free. :)

Home Away From Home

This is the most delightful little lavendar cottage. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. There is even a "white noise " maker in the bedroom to make sure you sleep well! You will be happy you stayed! By the way, the hosts are delightful and easy to reach. We will stay again!

Cute cottage close to downtown

We wanted a house close to downtown and Pelican Island and this worked. It’s really cute, completely renovated and had more essentials provided than any house I’ve ever stayed. It was nice having a fenced in yard. Galveston is an eclectic town, so you have an assortment of houses and people on every street. The owners did a nice job with their 3 houses. This house is close to Ball High School, so it’s an active area on Friday night. We ubered so it wasn’t a problem for us.
