Cozy Cottage

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Wise Old Owl Garden Retreat Cottage. The cottage is very cozy and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. The host was very responsive and we hope to visit again!

This property is amazing! Lisa is so kind and made sure everything went smoothly. Simple and has everything you need. I stayed here for over a week and had a great time. Highly recommended and whenever I come back to the area I will be staying here!

It was very clean, had everything we needed and was cozy. There was a Coffee pot and snacks. The coffee was excellent! The location was good for for our multiple day visits to Olympic National Park. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would highly recommend it.

Excellent stay in Sequim!

Comfortable, cozy, stay while cycling on the Discovery bike trail. Great home base, so much nicer and quieter than staying in a hotel! If you're looking for a quiet place to explore the Olympic Peninsula, this is it!

Wonderful, cozy stay

We stayed here for several nights while we hiked throughout Olympic national park. All we needed was a bed and a shower, and this fit the bill. Quiet, private, and comfy.

The property was beautiful within a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is small but had everything you needed with some fun extras. The hosts are very kind and had a welcome binder that explained expectations. The town had everything needed for food and dining. It is close to the Olympic National Park and may other places to visit.

Awesome place

The cottage was super clean and comfortable with everything needed to have a relaxing time and enjoy all the sites around the Olympic peninsula. Close enough to all sites and to Seattle as well, but away from noise and stress. Great experience! Will book again!

Gateway to adventures

Not far from the National Park and other outdoor attractions, Lisa's place is very clean. We enjoyed the little outdoor setting after returning from full days of hiking. The weather was perfect so we were able to prepare meals and dine outside.

Great Stay!

We mostly used the BNB to sleep and were off exploring during the day. But it was very clean and the perfect size! There was also a patio area to sit outside that was cute. There were brochures and reading material on the area which was super convenient. We highly recommend!

Cozy and Well equipped

This was the perfect place to lay our heads after a busy day of adventuring. The hosts were very friendly and helped us with needed information and guidance. They went above and beyond. The cottage had everything that we were afraid to have not packed with us and more. Provided brochures of the area were very helpful for food options and things to do. Very clean, warm and well stocked. Communication was great! Highly recommended! We will return ... Thank you very much!

Well appointed and private

Lisa and Robert were very friendly and willing to accommodate any needs and checked in with me frequently to see if I needed anything. The property was well supplied with dishes, utensils and food containers…Anything you would need for your stay. I loved the lighted make up mirror, Nice comfortable chair, great cozy blankets. The yard was very nice and private. Fresh herbs growing and ripe strawberries.

Perfect jumping-off point for an Olympic Peninsula Adventure!

We chose this cottage because it looked adorable and it was the perfect location start for any exploration of the Olympic Peninsula. We were only 1.5 miles from the Olympic Discovery Trail and spent our days riding to different locations (Port Angeles one day and Blyn the next). The cottage was very clean and had every amenity we needed. The outdoor area was private and perfect for sitting in the sun in the late afternoon. We will definitely return!

Cozy cottage

Lisa was an amazing host! She provided a lot of recommendations of places to eat and visit. She even provided weather updates as we were arriving. She left out a lot of informative brochures and sent ferry information when I asked. The cottage was nice and quiet, my husband and I slept great after a long day of hiking and adventuring.

Friendly Host, Charming Little Cottage

I rented this place with a friend for our Olympic National Park vacation. This cottage was small, but the perfect amount of space for two to rest their heads after a long day of hiking. We also liked the location, which was quiet but gave us relatively quick access to Port Angeles and the northern entrances to the park. It was clean and well cared for, and the outdoor space was a lovely addition to the property. The host is especially friendly and we received great communication from her. The check in and check out process is no contact, quick, and easy. There was also very little asked of the guests in regards to cleaning upon checkout, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would be happy to visit again!

Lisa was an exceptional host. Very helpful and communicative. The cottage was clean and perfect for two. Lisa provided some snacks, coffee and tea. Everything was in pristine condition. Comfy bed and fluffy towels as other reviewers mentioned. Sequim is quite a distance from the west side of Olympic, but we weren’t too bothered as we were heading southwest after our park visit. This was a great spot with an amazing host. Highly recommend. Plan accordingly if you want to be closer to the western part of the park. Thank you, Lisa, for a beautiful place to stay.

Just right!

Really enjoyed my stay at the Owl. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a vacation home that was so well stocked and with such consideration. And because everything is labeled so well, you don’t spend your vacation time hunting for items. The studio may seem small when you enter, but once the curtains are open, the space is very comfortable, bright, efficiently laid out, and has a good vibe. There’s also a real sense of privacy. I loved having my own little yard to soak up the sun and Sequim’s fresh air. And being able to lay down on the bed in the evening and watch the sunset out the windows was amazing. Lisa could not have been more welcoming, kind, and helpful in her communications. I stayed during a reunion weekend of events and it was the perfect home-base for prepping to go, pondering life so far, and reflecting on all the fun during the trip. Thanks, Lisa!

Our family recently resettled from Anchorage Alaska and Renton Washington to bring our mom home from memory care. We picked a place reminding us of Alaska and at the same time still providing all the amenities needed to care for our family.
My husband Robert and I have always wanted to host visitors from around the world and this property gives us the opportunity to do that. We come from a background of diversity and respect what each individual has to offer the world.
Our need for a peaceful, relaxing environment motivated us to expand the gardens, add even more trees and finish landscaping the property.
You may hear our 43-year-old McCaw, Sebastian greeting you or laughing during your stay. He loves children and new people. He is very talkative and has a special eye for the ladies.
Our Mom may be able to greet you at some point during your stay if you are around when she goes on her daily walks. She spent her career as a realtor and loves people. Though she won't be able to say much you will know from the smile and twinkle in her eye that she is glad to see you.
We welcome you to our piece of heaven. We feel truly blessed and lucky to be able to share it with you.

This property is one acre, fully fenced with private parking. It is a 5 to 20-minute drive to almost every attraction and shop in and outside of Sequim. Port Angeles is a 25-minute drive and offers many day trips and activities.
Private, well-appointed, and secluded it will serve as a home base for community activities and allow for relaxation and rest when you are here. Kitchenette, tv with free high-speed internet and cable tv. Private patio with BBQ and all needed supplies.
