The beach gate by the swimming pools allows direct access to one of Guanacaste's most beautiful beaches. Watch the surf break from the edge of the infinity pool while you sip your favorite drink.

The classic Spanish-Mediterranean architecture with its hand-painted tile and large covered terrace are the essence of Casa Paquita. You will enjoy the beautifully manicured gardens and romantic balconies with spectacular views and breathtaking sunsets. Your vacation home is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!!

Casa Paquita features five en-suite bedrooms in the main house, plus an additional 2 en-suite bedrooms in the Casita. The spiral staircase weaves around a 3 level waterfall that cascades down 2-sides of an open cylinder. The gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, bar room, living room and front and back patios blend together to create a perfect common area overlooking the infinity edge pool and the Pacific Ocean. The large double infinity edge pool features a children's pool, spa seating with jets, four bar stools, and an easy entrance staircase. This enormous living area is perfect for large groups, family reunions, small intimate weddings or just the best vacation Costa Rica has to offer!

The main house sleeps 14 people with 3 king beds, 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4) and 2 queens beds.

The Casita sleeps 4 people with 1 queen bed and 2 double beds.

House-keeping services are provided 6 days per week There is also a grounds-keeper/pool cleaner on property 6 days per week.

Full concierge service is included and will arrange airport pickup, car rental and tour reservations, baby sitting and other luxury services.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is beachfront, so we enjoyed peaceful walks every morning and watched the beautiful sunsets every evening. We even spotted monkeys playing in the trees above the pool, which was such a fun surprise for the whole family. Jonathan was incredibly helpful—he arranged our airport transfers and golf carts, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Lorena was absolutely amazing. She prepared a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast for us each morning, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for our family. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Girl’s Trip!

Our stay at Cssa Paquita was wonderful! Jonathan was very responsive and helpful with our requests. Lorena and her assistants spoiled us with wonderful breakfasts every day, and 2 delicious dinners. We loved the infinity pool, and we were entertained by the monkeys in the trees. Pura Vida!

This house was even better than the photos. They have redecorated and it’s just gorgeous. We just wanted to sit and stare across the infinity pool at the ocean all day. It was hard to to leave. You should get this place.

Great Location and Great Potential

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Casa Paquita but cannot give it 5 stars since it is in need of much needed maintenance. It is unfortunate since the layout is outstanding, amazing view of ocean from pool and house, great pool, and perfect for large group. However, there were lots of ants in the house since there were major openings around doors and windows that were not sealed properly. This could be the norm in Costa Rica since it was our first time there, but we did not have these issues in the resort we stayed at near Arenal Volcano. The contact person for the house, Jonathan, responded right away when I notified him about the ants and other bugs, and he had the house sprayed the next day. This solved the problem for a day or two, but they ended up coming back.That being said we still had a good time and appreciate all of Jonathan's assistance. His communications were excellent and also prompt. Additionally, Lola, who did the housekeeping and cooked us an amazing meal on our last night, was fantastic. Both she and Jonathan couldn't have been nicer to us.

Casa Paquita was great...

Cant say enough of how much we enjoyed our trip to Casa Paquita this past week. Daniel, was unbelievable from the minute we landed, to assisting us with any of our requests throughout the stay, even with last minute changes. Lucinta, kept the house spotless, and would highly recommend you take her up on some home cooked meals. Was our best dinner of the trip. Easy. Wont lie, we spent a ton of time in the pool, which you can see from the pictures is pretty easy to do. The location was a short 5min ride into town, which was great. Close enough to restaurants, and shops, but far enough away that it was super quiet at the house. I could go on and on, but overall this was an ideal place and location for our group. Thank you Daniel and Lucinta. You are the Best. Pura Vida.

The house was as pictured, but definitely more dated than the pictures. The pool was amazing. The day we arrived we did not have any water until the the next morning. No showers, flushing toilets, etc. Jonathan, the caretaker, worked with us and tried his best to get the situation taken care of. This did happen again midway through the trip when the power went out for the day. Jonathan was always there working hard to help with anything that went wrong with the house. I would highly recommend hiring Lorena to cook your meals........she was wonderful!

Memorable Week

Casa Paquita was perfect for our family of 10 (six adults and four kids, five years and younger.) Our vacation was seamless. The location was quiet and we felt safe. Daniel and Jonathan went beyond the call of duty to respond to our needs and requests from beginning to end.We also had a full fridge of groceries snacks and imperial beer waiting for us when we arrived. One of our grandkids celebrated his third birthday, and there were balloons when we arrived. The infinity pool was a big hit with the kids, and especially with the inflatable toys that were supplied. Lorena and the housekeeping staff supplied us daily with clean towels for showers and for the pool & beach . Lorena also prepared and made most of our breakfast and delicious dinners. The beach was ours for play ,walks and amazing sunsets .Kudos to the entire team. We highly recommend Casa Paquita .

Wonderful property in Guanacaste Costa Rica

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Sitting on the back patio watching the ocean was as close to paradise as we have experienced. The location was excellent. We weren't big fans of Tamarindo as it's just another busy beach town, but this property is far enough away that you don't feel like you are in Tamarindo yet close enough to walk (less than 20 mins). The price was a bit high, but worth it as a family getaway. The property includes staff for cleaning and landscape and pool service. It's kept very well. Lorena prepared us a wonderful dinner one evening, which was perfect after a full day of zip line and rafting adventures. The meal was an additional cost, but not any more than going to a restaurant for the seven of us. The house manager, Daniel, was very attentive and easily reached. He even came on Sunday to say goodbye. Overall a great vacation and a great property.

Definitely recommend!! 10/10

This is a fantastic property! I cannot say enough good things about our experience, it was wonderful. We were a family with 7 adults and 2 children (11 years and 7 years). Lorena is amazing (housekeeper and cook). She cooked several meals for us and is very sweet. The food was delicious and we always had left overs. She speaks only Spanish but uses Google translate if there is a language barrier. We had a Spa Day at Los Altos De Eros while the guys went fishing with Maryola. I recommend both those things. Our transportation and tours were booked through TPV Costa Rica. They are easy to communicate with and have a lot of tour options. We also did a catamaran tour through Manta Ray Sailing. This is a MUST DO! By far our favorite part. They have transportation options for pick up at extra costs but we used TPV for transportation. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart, there are a few walkable restaurants and shops but going “into town” is much easier with these. Bring bug spray! We went in wet season and there are definitely mosquitos and other insects. The water pressure in the house is slow, I believe this is pretty typical of Costa Rica but it took some adjusting to coming from the states. The last night we saw about 10-15 monkeys in the trees above the pool, it was the best way to end the trip!

Pictures don't do this place justice! Our family of 7 adults and 3 children spent a week here, which was our first time visiting Costa Rica. (Feb 2023) The house was beautiful and in the perfect location for peace and quiet, but a short walk/golf cart ride to the town centre. The house is well appointed with all the amenities you need for a beach vacation, and close to stores for food and drinks. Daniel was attentive and arranged all of what we needed (Golf Carts, airport transfers and beer in the fridge) while Jon kept the grounds and pool clean and well kept. Lorena and Izabella made or stay a gastro feast every morning for breakfast and several dinners during our stay. The meals were some of the best food we had while in Costa Rica and well worth the money to have it all prepared, served and cleaned up. Hands down having a personal chef and concierge while enjoying your private residence had us living like the rich and famous for a week! The sunsets are amazing and we spent most evenings sitting on the luxury pool loungers or around the large patio table enjoying a drink and some music (Sonos Speaker system worked great). The pool had a great shallow area for the children to play in, and pools toys to keep them busy. Monkeys hanging out in the trees for entertainment, a neighbourhood cat to make it feel like home. The town of Tamarindo and surrounding area was amazing to explore. My wife and I are SCUBA divers and would highly recommend Franco @TamaDive. He took us out to the Catalinas Islands for the day to explore some volcanic island reefs. We would definitely stay again and recommend this property and amazing staff to anyone considering a trip to paradise.

Location is great! Close enough to town and far enough for quietness. The house is really nice but needs repair. From a clogged sink to outside lounge chairs without proper wheels. Lorena was very nice and super kind.

Magical!

We had a perfect trip staying at this beautiful house. The view is breathtaking and the house has everything you need. We felt so well taken care of from Jonathan’s helping arrange activities to the delicious meals and the house being cleaned for us. We travel quite a bit, and this house is one we would love to come back to! The pool area and yard are gorgeous and you can just walk out the back gate and be on the beach. It’s not an area for swimming in the ocean much, but you can just walk down the beach a little and there are areas for that or surfing. There is air conditioning throughout the whole house and locked gates so we felt completely safe and comfortable. This is my favorite VRBO I have ever been to!

Everything was awesome. Jonathan was a huge help and very responsive if we experienced any issues. Lorena prepared delicious dinners and kept the house in great shape. Only thing I would share is that the beach is rocky and not conducive for snorkeling or even swimming. The walk to town from the beach is beautiful but further than you think - better to take the road which is much quicker and also lovely. Would definitely stay here again! A family of seven howler monkeys graced us with their presence on the last day. Didn’t make any noise but snacked on the trees and napped for hours. Very cool!

Amazing House on the Beach

We stayed with 6 adults and 10 children ages 9-3 and the house was perfect for all of us. The house is just steps from the beach which made it easy for the kids to go to and from the beach and pool all day. We had Lorena make breakfast and dinner every day for us, which was amazing! Made everyone feel like it was more of a vacation. Jonathan, the manager, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to take care of us. He mailed back several items we accidentally left behind, including stuffed animals and a cell phone. Truly a gem! We plan to return next summer!

Amazing stay in Tamarindo

You will not be disappointed with this house!We had a recent one week stay with adults and teenage kids. We loved our time there and were very sad to leave. Pros:Location. We ended up cancelling our car rentals before we left and were so glad we did. We ended up using the house golf cart and it was perfect. We could get everywhere we needed in the golf cart and was only a short drive 5mins into town for groceries, restaurants and shopping. You can also walk into town easily as well. The house is also right on the beach and has the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. You can walk for miles down the beach which is great to do before it gets too hot. The house is very safe, and we never had any concerns. Jonathan and Lorena. Jonathan was amazing. We have never had anyone so responsive on any VRBO rental we have visited. Jonathan was available to help whenever needed for booking excursions, urgent doctors visits or any household issues. Lorena cooked the most amazing meals for us and we loved that we always had leftovers for the hungry teens! I would highly recommend the breakfasts they were wonderful. Cons:Really there were none. We would stay here again for sure. Some things in the house need updating but that is to be expected. They are working to update parts, but as this is a very large property it takes time. This would not deter us from staying again. This is a fantastic house for a large group or for families with teens!

Perfect for Large Group

We stayed here for a fun mother/son trip with our high school seniors. The house was clean, beautiful, and walking distance to heart of Tamarindo. Jonathan was an excellent concierge as he organized all of our excursions for us (sunset cruise, sport fishing, waterfall hike, whitewater rafting, ziplining). He also coordinated with a chef to come in most nights and cook for our entire group. The food was amazing and she cleaned up after dinner for us as well. Jonathan also coordinated yoga lessons and massages at the house for the moms. Moms had fun, boys had fun - it was just perfect.

Everything as advertised

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Yes it going to need a little “love” soon, but still an awesome property. If you don’t have Lorena and her crew cook for you, you will be missing out on great food at a good price. She can tailor your meals to the costs that you are wanting to pay. Eating out in the Tamarindo market can get expensive. Would love to come back and stay with Jonathon and Lorena very soon!

The BEST trip!

I can't say enough good things about this property and the helpful crew!! We had a 10 day stay. Family vacation with 14 of us. 7 kids ranging from 1-12 years old. 7 adults They made our stay so easy, comfortable and fun. From the beginning of booking the house Jonathan and Daniel were extremely helpful and quick to respond. They assisted us with booking all of our excursions (catamaran cruise, fishing, tour to a waterfall and to see sloths, ziplining, horseback riding). They also arranged for transport to and from the airport. They arranged two times for our group of adults to receive massages at the house on the balcony. Originally we had booked one session but it was so great we did another. They sent two massueses. Lorraina was amazing as well! We had her cook about half of our dinners and breakfasts. They were each amazing and so tasty! She would work with us each time to see if there were any special requests. The last night we celebrated 3 birthdays. She got a cake (even made it custom) and made the best dinner of the trip! Her and her daughter decorated the house with balloons and got my little niece a crown. It was so sweet. The house itself was very nice and comfortable for all parties. We all felt we had sufficient room not to be on top of eachother. The pool was the best! Overlooking the ocean and we often had monkeys in the trees around it. It was the best trip and I can't thank Jonathan, Daniel and Lorraina enough. Highly recommend!

Marcella’s Wedding and family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Casa Paquita! Our daughter’s wedding was just down the road at Casa Los Olivos and the house was perfect for our entire family with young children and great grandmother. Lorena was the main housekeeper and we had her prepare 2 lunches and two dinners that were fabulous!! Jonathan was also very responsive for any requests that were made. I highly recommend this home!

The surfing, golfing, fishing, turtle watching, horseback riding, zip-lining, and boating are all great. And the restaurants are world class!!

Example of breakfast. Costa Rican style meal. Fried rice and beans (Gallo Pinto), eggs, bacon, corn tortillas, fresh fruit, grilled cheese. etc. Or anything that you want the cook to prepare.

Example for dinner. Grilled garlic Mahi-Mahi, rice and beans, fresh salsa, guacamole, lentils soup, BBQ ribs or anything that you want the cook to prepare.
