The host was very effective and timely with communications. The cabin was as advertised and our stay was very comfortable. It was peaceful and serene with spectacular sunrises. We had plenty of space to relax and enjoy our downtime after visiting all that the area had to offer. I highly recommend it!

Cabin met our needs. Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans to cook for a large group. Outdoor fire pit was nice as was the amount of outdoor seating. Location was quiet. Host communicated very well and were responsive to questions. Kids enjoyed the downstairs bedroom with the slide and the upstairs game room. Got to see some local wildlife, deer and turkeys which was great.

Our multigenerational family of 8, plus one small dog, spent 8 nights in this cabin. Cabin is smaller than the pictures make it seem but it was fine for our purposes. Questions were answered quickly. Cabin was clean and well cared for. There was plenty of cookware and place settings. If you plan to cook, come prepared-no salt/pepper on site but multiple groceries not too far off. Thermostats seemed to have a mind of their own-we never really figured out how to have a consistent temperature but were comfortable. Not sure if screens are put in later in the season but there were none on the doors or windows when we visited so open windows were sadly limited.Hot tub was well used, as was the deck with the beautiful view. There are several other cabins nearby and a few noisy human neighbors (renters) but not overly distracting from the peace of the mountains. We saw lots of birds and my husband spotted a bear on the drive up to the cabin. In regard to the drive up, it’s very typical of mountain driving but a bit daunting, especially if you live in flat country with straight roads! Parking area was able to accommodate 4 vehicles (2 were pretty small.) It is on an angle and the first step up to the wrap around deck is a bit high. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave. Thank you for hosting our crew!

The location was great and the views were stunning. Overall, I would book it again. However, the pictures are outdated so it's a little bit different than what is shown.

The house is beautiful. The parking in the photo look as if it is a flat surface but it is not. I was let down by that as I have a blind mother that was also with me. The photo is from the side of the house and you can only back your vehicle in, we have a Chevrolet truck short bed and the front of the vehicle was to the edge of the road. The shelves in the refreigator were broken and several missing. We found dirty utensils in the drawer which I assume was from the previous stay and not from the cleaning service due to them being middle ways in the stack. Either way we washed all of the utensils. There was not a full set of cook ware and when you are cooking for 8 it was hard. Everything else was great!!!

The cabin is located in a beautiful quiet area. It is still easily accessible to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The home was clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order. The home did not have a couch in the loft as advertised and the one bedroom in the basement did not have a queen bed but 2 sets of bunk beds with a slide. It was easy to book and access the property. Host was easy to work with. Kitchen had limited items so if you are planning to do more cooking you may want to bring additional items for this.

Cabin was perfect for our multi-generational family trip. Space for everyone to spread out. Views were nice, neighborhood feels safe, listing is accurate. Though it is a little bit of a drive to get anywhere, it’s nice to be able to actually enjoy the peace and quiet. I would not hesitate to book again. Thanks.

Cabin was clean and comfortable with good views of the mountains. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. We encountered a few issues and communicated these to the host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing Stay

Just a few miles away from the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg we were able to unwind and relax at HillTop. The kitchen was well equipped and owners were very responsive.
