Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, less than a 10 minute walk to beautiful downtown Southern Pines, and 2 minute walk to Weymouth Woods Center for the Arts and Humanities. If you're visiting for a golf outing, our home is only a 10 minute drive to Pinehurst No. 2, and even closer to a handful of other courses. This house is in the perfect location for a quiet get-a-way, but only a quick trip to excellent restaurants, bars, golfing adventures, & nearby farms. Take a look for yourself!

Beautiful and quaint property that is very close to downtown Southern Pines. Jim was an excellent host and very prompt to respond to messages. The house is stocked with all you may need! We won’t hesitate to book again on our next trip!

The upstairs was finished very nice and spacious. The kitchen was impressive with up to date appliances. The handrail on the stairway needs securing better. The yard was overgrown especially in the rear. While not required, I recommend safety bars to help get in and out of tub. The second bedroom with the trundle bed only has a lamp for light and a portion of material from the ceiling had dropped onto the trundle bed. Some remedial attention to the above would make rhis a very attractive offering in view or its close proximity to downtown Southern Pines.

I have to disagree with Chad. A guest broke one of the spouts on the dual vanity in the upstairs bathroom, which I informed him of before his stay. His other complaints centered on the air conditioning "not keeping up" - it was working fine and set to 68°F during 100 degree weather. He also didn't read the house rules, brought an undisclosed pet, and suggested he should be compensated for his stay. I think it be mutually beneficial to not do business again.

Fantastic stay…adorable, well stocked home and great communication with host. Fit all four adults comfortably and could walk to everything, from great Soithern Pines downtown to open spaces for walks/runs. Easy drives to get to Pinehurst and Carolina Horse Park.

Comfortable, well-stocked, quiet location within minutes to excellent food, great area for walking our dog. For anyone renting with a dog -- note that there are some missing pickets in the front and back fence and the gates don't securely latch.

Great location near Southern Pines. Walking distance to several restaurants. weymouth Woods hiking trails literally two blocks away. Only a few minutes away from the Golf Course that we played. I would probably paint the front fence and do some things in the yard for curb appeal. Inside /older home but clean and you get what is advertised. Appliances, air-conditioning, all the important things have been updated/ large suite upstairs that we gave to our friends to stay in and they really enjoyed it. Almost instantaneous responses from the host answering my questions. Great experience for us. Great spacious property for a couple. It accommodated our two couples very well. Could also be used for a couple and 3 of their kids. depending on age..

Location and house were as advertised on the site. The location is fantastic as it is a quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the main street in Southern Pines. It is less than 5 minutes driving to Southern Pines Golf Club and 10-15 minutes to Pinehurst. There were a couple of issues with the property (clogged drain, light bulbs out, outdated refrigerator water filter) when we arrived, but the host was fantastic, as he jumped right on the issues the next morning and had most items corrected the next day. He was gracious, apologetic, and made every effort to allow us to seamlessly enjoy the home for the rest of our stay, Thank you.
