This was our second year to book this property, and we were very happy. The house is well maintained and spacious enough for all 7 of my family members. Very close to all the fun stuff. Deck is perfect and comfortable, and access to the fishing and crabbing opportunities is what we come back for!

We loved being able to bring our boat and dock at the house! Fished off the dock and caught fish!The only downfall was the house over all wasn’t clean…hair, dust, balloons and streamers from previous guest. Towels left in the dryer…. Wine glasses were dirty and had to wash before we used them.

The house was beautiful! Check in was super easy and all communication with Jody was quick. The house was clean, linens smelled so nice and fresh, and all amenities were waiting for us. Check out was fast and easy, with no ridiculous requirements. We will definitely book again!

Very nice venue and amenities. Some issues with main entrance door, and lighting on main outside deck. Minor inconveniences overall. Our second time staying there and we'd go again.

Adorable beach getaway

This house is exactly like the pictures! Even cuter in person! We went as a quick getaway for our family after Christmas before the kids went back to school. Everything was extremely clean. The porch is huge and has plenty of seating and overlooks the canal. You won’t want to leave that area! There’s even a balcony with a small porch on the top floor. Everything is very up to date and decorated beautifully yet still has a cozy feel. Would definitely go back again!

We enjoyed this house and all it offered. We loved the view! We brought our own boat and another vehicle and plenty of parking. Entering the house we had read previous reviews about the front door. The front door is a little tricky until you get the hang of how to close it. You lift up on handle and turn key to unlock or lock. When closing the door behind you push down, pull toward you (if in the house) and lift up. On the outside (I had to lean into the door) then lift up. The door was my negative. The house itself had plenty of space, my youngest loved the room, the plan was bunk beds, but decided on the room to the left. My other child chose the room on the right, which had a bathroom connected. We took the King size bed upstairs with it's own bathroom. All the beds were comfortable and plenty of extra pillows. The balcony was cool, but with the humidity it was not used much. The patio area was really nice in the mornings, at night you need bug spray the mosquitos are no joke! If there is a good breeze then the mosquitos do not bother as much. The dock area was nice, my hubby and youngest were out there morning, noon, and night, caught a good amount of trout, flounder, and other fish. The green lights are cool at night. We saw dolphins and a large gar. EVERYTHING CLOSES at like 9PM. The ferry is not far, but expect to take about an hour. Also, our own boat in water we were not familiar with was not a bad experience at all and easy to get to house. We would stay again!

Fantastic Getaway!!

WOW!! We can't say enough positive things about Flounder Bay. The home was gorgeous, clean and located in a beautiful area along the water. The view from the patio area and dock were incredible. I especially enjoyed fishing off the dock. Wish we could have stayed a few more days, but unfortunately, it was time for us to get back home. We miss it already!! Can't wait to go back!! What a fantastic experience!!

Great stay

Great time in a great home. My only suggestion would be understand how to use a storm door prior to going or ask a neighbor to show. The neighbors are superb and educated me.

Fishing and family fun

Flounder Bay house is a perfect place to relax and recharge. We are previous renters as it has everything you need, just bring groceries and a pole. The vacation experience was perfect.
