Stay away!
First of all, be very clear that this is a hotel. When we checked in, the hotel clerk acted as if she had no idea about VRBO bookings. I finally convinced her it was legit. I asked her to confirm the three rooms were paid and she said they were not. It took about 15 minutes and a call to the property manager on the booking to get it straightened out. All the while, other people were being held up from checking in - I was not feeling their love!
The hotel room itself was not bad on first glance, but the longer we stayed, the worse it was. The door handle was loose and we did not feel very secure. The A/C unit did not work in any of the three rooms we rented. One of our two beds made a terrible racket any time we moved, so we had to change beds. We read there was a roach problem here in recent reviews and confirmed the issue still exists (my wife killed 2 in the bathroom first thing in the morning).
The walls were very thin and our next door neighbor decided at 6:30am that he wanted to get mad at the world and to see how loud he could cuss and how many different cuss words he could mouth. After he finished his tirade around 7am, two other guests decided they wanted to smoke and discuss all their life issues outside their door, which was right next to our. They were still discussing things when we left at 9. NOTE the doors are all outside-facing.
The rates were somewhat less than at other places, but we now know why. Spend the extra money!
