Welcome to your own Smoky Mountain lodge set amongst the beauty and splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains! Whether you're looking for a private retreat for your family, or a base camp for several families and friends - you'll have 3500 sq ft all to yourselves. Your location is unbeatable as you're 3 mins from Dollywood/Splash Country, 5 mins from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, and 15 mins from downtown Gatlinburg.
Besides the central location, at Applewood Mountain Lodge you'll find -

If you’re looking for a log cabin that has more than enough space for family reunions, corporate retreats, church getaways, or any other large-group vacation, we believe Applewood Mountain Lodge is it.

7 bedrooms all in different themes: Downstairs - Fox Den (King bed/private bathroom), Wilderness Retreat (queen size bed). Upstairs - Bear Cub Den (2 bunk beds that sleep 6 children), Moose Lodge (King master bedroom/private bathroom), Duck & Turtle Pond (queen size bed, door leads to balcony and hot tub), Deer Run (queen size bed) & Horse Stable (full size bed).

Game room is recently renovated includes Foosball, HD TV, Shuffleboard, and more (downstairs). Upstairs is a 'movie room' with large windows, a sectional couch, TV and DVD player, and streaming capabilities.
Large fully equipped kitchen with all necessities (small appliances, pantry, all silverware, plates, cups, travel mugs, lots of coffee & tea items, spices and much more).

**We love our four-legged friends, but due to allergies, we do NOT allow pets.

***Parking - As is common in the mountains, the driveway is steep though rarely causes problems. In case any ice causes the road to be too slick, there's a parking pad at the bottom of the driveway that you're welcome to use.

Scary

The house and rooms were fine. The game room was a joke, not very accessible for older people. The driveway was almost a disaster especially when wet. It took me three tries flooring my engine to get up. I am surprised no one has slid off and turned over.

The property was great. Met all expectations for our family vacation with a group of 16. The rooms and layout were as pictured, the location was great, very short drive to downtown Pigeon Forge and right by Dollywood. It is right in the mountains, so definitely need to use caution for bears. We had a visit by a bear in the driveway within our first hour, so keep watch on the kiddos, especially if going to extra room, which is accessed from separate, outside entrance.

Family trip to Dollywood

This property was the perfect place to enjoy a large family trip. There was enough room for all of us and the kids loved the nurf guns and games available to play.

The cabin had plenty of space and a great location,but it was not clean,we could not adjust the thermostat upstairs,the dishes in the kitchen cabinets were dirty

Dollywood 2025

We celebrated granddaughter’s 8th birthday at Dollywood. The lodge was perfect for our family of 14. Ages 4 to 86. Host was great to respond quickly to any questions. We had a great time!!!!

Family & Friends conquer Dollywood

Great location for Dollywood and downtown pigeon Forge. Had a great time with family and friends there. Very accommodating. The driveway is a bit steep, especially when wet, but if you back up, it really helps. Great stay!

Family trip

We booked this cabin for a family weekend getaway. There were plenty of room for our party of 13. It was very conveniently located to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful area and nice place to stay.

As described for the most part, we didnt use downstairs as the games were broken. The cleanliness was the only major issue.

Great stay

We had a great week with family! The house was clean and spacious. Very short drive to Dollywood and anything else we wanted to do. You can see Dollywood’s fireworks at night. Luke was very responsive to any questioned we had. We would stay here again.

Dollywood vacay

We had the best time staying at this property! It was spacious and clean. Plenty of beds/bedrooms/bathrooms for 6 adults and 10 kids. It was literally like 3 minutes to Dollywood. The kids loved hanging out in the game room. Three of the bedrooms have attached bathrooms. The host was so kind and easy to get in touch with if we had a question. Would stay here again!
